5 day weekly total; 400 pushups, 280 tricep pushups, 100 back flexes, 600 leg lifts, 300 crunches, 360 squats.
I fell asleep to “Lamb of God” the album “Sacrament”
I exercised to “Foo Fighters” 60 b – sides on shuffle.
First a correction from the previous post. My friends also have a strong bond with me as I do with them. Priorities have changed. I don’t look at myself as an adult, but they are. They’ve got kids & full time jobs. I’m here exercising 5 days a week for a disability check. My priorities & there priorities have changed.
It’s also much more difficult for me to go out on my own with a small group of friends. I know they’re willing to help me when needed, I tend to feel like more of a burden to them. Nobody complains about helping me, I just don’t like asking people for help all of the time.
I’ve decided I’ll do my abs & legs 3 times a week. Upper body stuff twice a week. I did my upper body workout of pushups, tricep lifts, & back flexes, while doing the pushups with my arms tucked in to my sides & …………..WOW!
So Tuesday & Thursday are the “days of the week” I do my arms & back, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday I do my legs & core.
400 pushups a week the proper way is so not easy. My shoulders have been a little sore since Tuesday. Then yesterday I started with my tricep exercise & decided I’d do 160 in sets of 40. I did it but didn’t have much left in the tank. I did 25 back flexes, 100 pushups, 25 more back flexes. I only had 100 more pushups to do, I hit 50 & for a brief moment I thought I might just stop there. I didn’t, however, those final 50 pushups felt like they were killing me more than helping me. Next week I’ll lower the tricep exercise to 140 or 150 on Tuesdays & Thursdays. More than I was doing before, but less than I did yesterday.
I’m still on meds for cancer issues, more than I’d like to be on. Here’s an example, I’m on heartburn pills because of acid reflux. I’ll probably be on them forever. I had minor issues with acid reflux before. If I miss one of those in the morning or at night, I have major issues. It’s like throwing up a tiny amount. Luckily I haven’t missed a heart burn pill since we moved here in December of 2013.
Yes I bought the Alter Bridge concert on blu-ray with an orchestra. I got the album on iTunes. The album & stereo mix of the concert really just sound like a greatest hits album. The orchestra is buried in the stereo mix. If you switch to surround audio when watching the blu-ray, the sound is mixed much better, the orchestra is much more audible! I haven’t watched the entire concert yet, I’m waiting on others who would like to see it. That will likely change though I’m anxious to see it!
Some covers of what I thought was a catchy tune to begin with. The original followed by a few covers.
STONE SOUR (Sorry, the In Flames review went over like a led balloon. This was already written, if you don’t enjoy the metal reviews let me know please.)
They formed in 1992 in Iowa. They disbanded in 1997 but regrouped with the current lineup in 2006, after some shuffling of members from 2000-2006. The singer, Corey Taylor, is the vocalist for not only the rock/hard rock/metal group ‘Stone Sour’ but also the vocalist in metal group ‘Slipknot’ known for performing with a latex mask on each members face, 9 of them I think? Once ‘Stone Sour’ had a taste of fame ‘Slipknot’ was then created. I’ve got most of if not all of ‘Slipknot’ but I haven’t listened to it all. ‘Stone Sour’ on the other hand I have all 6 albums beginning with their 2002 self-titled release….
