I’d do more but that’s a TON of links to load. Sorry if they double, I’ll try to fix them but no guarantee? My back is annoying but I increase my exercise to my “normal” total daily!
I fell asleep to 2 albums, the 2 most recent albums by “Candlebox” first “Love Stories & Other Musings” from 2012. Then the album “Disappearing in Airports” released in April of 2016. Woke up in the middle of the night to pee, gotta stop that, & put on “Chevelle” the new album “The North Corridor”
I exercised to “Portal” the album “Blood Red Tape” My brother was listening to them in his car when we were with him. I think he said they’re an independent group from Alberta?
They have 3 albums on iTunes at the moment. This is the only one I’ve purchased so far.
This is for anyone & everyone who might find this interesting! Please help me out if you don’t mind? I’ve been sharing this publically on my page, I don’t think it’s helping? Please do what you can to spread the word?
If you’re following the blog on my personal Facebook page, could you please follow it on the link above? Just for me to keep track of subscribers.

Brain cancer & ALS aren’t a competition. This is how I look at it though, in my situation. I could have survived or died because of brain cancer. I don’t know much about ALS. From what I know, it ends poorly, to put it lightly. Surviving brain cancer I can work on things, everything. You can look at that as overwhelming or just start somewhere & chip away at it as long as you can. ALS, from what I know, is more of a “OH MY GOODNESS! What’s going to go first?” Once it’s gone you can’t really do anything about it, that would be terrifying to me! Sure I felt overwhelmed & angry at first, but I’m alive, I can work on myself, mentally & physically. Eventually it COULD be fine? Sure the odds are stacked against me. Do you gamble? The odds are stacked against anyone in a casino playing any game. I’m alive, it could be worse.
I have to admit, after 2 weeks of just stretching & resting my back, it’s difficult to get back into my routine of exercise, food, blog, TV. For years that was easy, sweaty, but easy & somewhat gratifying. I had never enjoyed exercising, especially cardio! I can ride an exercise bike forever, walking with my walker seems like too much effort for very little gain to me. When I lived at my parents place the recumbent exercise bike was in the basement. I’d pop in a “Lord of the Rings” movie & pedal for 3 hours no problem, I can still bike for an hour or more.
I get that musicians want to share what influenced them by doing a cover song. I loved playing cover songs live! That meant I didn’t have to write lyrics, just remember better lyrics. Foo Fighters do this for the majority of their B Sides on singles. You get a single from the album, a live song & either a cover song or a song that was cut from the album. Here are some original songs followed by their cover song by someone else. Some are good, some are OK, some are terrible, & some are “OK, why mess with a classic?”
Almost forgot about this one!
