Of course I disagree. No “Ramble On” or “Immigrant song”?

If you pre-order the, on iTunes, June 17th release of “The Hunting Party” by Linkin Park you’ll get this song today along with 2 other tracks from the album.

You all know Nirvana, if not, were you living under a rock during the ’90s? You either love them or hate them. I love all of their CDs from “Bleach” on.

Then they released “Nevermind” with one of my favourite songs on it. Rob, Rydell, Dave and I played this song. Corey came up on stage to see who could drink the most beer between him and some other girl that was in Engineering at Beerfest in 2002 during this song. Corey won or lost depending on how you look at it? I still love this song! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teetvAUcG_E

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QECJ9pCyhns I still like pretty much every song they released even this one after Kurt’s death on a “Greatest Hits” album.

BUSH, Formerly known as BUSHx

Sorry, my Tuesdays are busy, exercise and Kris from the ABI program comes here to play 2 or 3 games of cribbage with me.  Tomorrow some friends of ours are coming over from a near by town.  I just wanted to finish the “B” section off today and this caps off the “B” section.  I have “Boney M.” it’s just on my Christmas playlist with Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr. Twisted Sister, Andrea Boceli and a “Metal Christmas”.

Yes, the first band I was in with Rob, Dave and Rydell played the 3 big hits off of the 1st Bush “Sixteen Stone” album.  I did “Glycerine”, we all did “Machine Head” and “Comedown”.  After the 2nd album “Razorblade Suitcase” I thought they just disappeared and we’re releasing the odd single?  Boy was I wrong and I don’t say that often at least not when Kim’s within ear shot!

I bought the 2nd album recently.  I also bought the 2011 release “The Sea of Memories” which is a good rock album.

“Comedown”  Chris Messer always thought the bass line to this song sounded like a Bon Jovi song, it does!   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS3GiUAvjJ8 the first song I learned to play & sing at the same time!

Bon Jovi song with a very similar bass line to it.

I am getting stronger with all of this @#$%&*%$@!@# exercise, I have never felt good afterwards, even in gym class in high school!  I have always felt tired and ready for a nap.

Dave you have to take me out for a drive, no one will let me. I except nothing less than lights and sirens going and that’s a firm request! That’s one of the perks of being in a wheelchair with one good eye and slow reflexes.  I always have Kim, my parents or Mitch to drive me around.  We always get the best parking spot.  I don’t have to drive downtown, and random strangers always hold the door open for me.  A wheelchair has it’s pros and cons.

MOVIES

Everybody’s thinking it so I’ll just say it………….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I4WjWfJqf0 Mickey Mouse Club, appropriate for kids!

I like mostly comedies, and the odd drama and action movie.  Kevin Smith is by far my favourite director/writer/actor.  Yes his films can be very offensive, and terribly criticized.  If you don’t like them, don’t watch them!  It’s rumoured that “Clerks 3” is in the beginning stages of being written.  That would complete the “Clerks” trilogy.  He made his first movie “Clerks” for $27,000 by maxing out numerous credit cards.  Filming in the evening after the convenient store he worked at was closed.  “Clerks II” got an 8 minute standing ovation at “The Cannes Film Festival”.  Yes, he’s the one that wrote and directed “Jersey Girl” which tanked at the box office.  No foul language in that movie, is that why?  I own that film and I quite enjoy it!

I watch anything and everything Kevin Smith is involved with, Bridesmaids, The Heat, The Princess Bride, The Amazing Spiderman, the last 3 Batman movies, Ted, Paul, The Muppet movie, Finding Nemo, most movies with Seth Rogen especially 50/50, Despicable Me 1 and 2, and those are some of my favourite movies oh, and Captain Phillips was very good as well!

Why is U2 still releasing music?  I like every album up to and including “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb” after that album they could have gone out on a high note, and just toured.  Whatever was released after that was not to my liking.

Once I’m done with T.V., movies, and music reviews not done by the Rock It Out Blog this will slowdown quite a bit!

I have no clue who’s reading this still other than my family, Kim’s family and a small group of friends? This blog started October 16th 2011.  I asked Kim to just trash everything on it and started again because it was full of terrible judgments on others.

Mr. Timothy Wong.  I’ve been good friends with him since high school

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLTZv2NFkLI

He was here whenever possible with one or two of his kids, same with Rob Wirtz and Diane Wirtz.  All in Edmonton, they came here quite a bit while I was in the hospital. Rydell and Candice are in Calgary and they were here as while I was sick and finally planning their wedding in I think it was 2010?

Tim and I are very good friends despite the distance.  He should have been involved in my wedding!  I wanted a HUGE wedding party.  He called me up to be a groomsman in his wedding party and when he had skin cancer, I should have been there with him on both occasions!  My excuse/reason was lame, my car couldn’t make it there and I had that rare Hawaiian disease “lackamoola”!  Haha, had to teach that one to the program I use to write these blogs on!  Tim has been here just as much as my brother Mitch had been here in the hospital.  I think Tim averaged about 3 times a year while I was ill. That’s a VERY good friend, same with Rob and Diane.  I don’t know Ginny much at all, she likes Edmonton and I can’t blame her for that. It can be boring here if you’re not eating in one of the 300 restaurants here!  Tim’s parents are celebrating their 40th anniversary today!  Congratulations to them!
