Dear CFL officials,
The first 3 quarters of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats @ the Saskatchewan Roughriders was quite possibly in my top 3 terrible football games I’ve ever seen in my 38 years of life that I can remember seeing.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
A season ticket holder.
Music throughout the week. A lot of “Devin Townsend”, “Dead Sara”, “Big Wreck”, & “Tremonti”
There was no exercising going on this week. My wife told me on Tuesday that she had Wednesday off, so I decided I had the week off. Fair enough my finger is 98% better, a few extra days of doing the bare minimum won’t hurt it. Being your own boss definitely has it’s benefits!
I leave Regina for a few days & it seemed as though everything flipped on me?! Best Buy has stopped selling CDs, Trump is still President, the Toronto Blue Jays made a trade, & nobody wants to OWN music??!!?!
I hear a LOT of whispers that CDs & downloading music will soon be a thing of the past? Downloading should stick around. I wouldn’t think downloading an album or streaming an album wouldn’t cost Apple extra money, but I really don’t know? I’m waiting for an announcement from Apple/iTunes regarding this.
I’ve heard that vinyl will still be around though? Is it really cost effective to do away with CD production & still release vinyl? I have no clue?
If that’s all that is available in the future, vinyl & streaming, I plan to use both. I’ll stream stuff on my iPod, I’ll also purchase vinyl every 3 or 4 months of the stuff I want to own. That’s my opinion, I’m not speaking for anyone else or saying that it’s wrong.
This streaming crap drives me crazy, in a VERY bad way. What the heck Apple? iTunes isn’t available just for me. I have the option to purchase my music or stream/rent it like a magazine subscription. I’d like to have that option in the future. Nobody these days seems to care if Apple Music shuts down & leaves them with nothing?
I find the entire thing as ridiculous as Trump being President. “We’re going to give you streaming music only & royally piss off musicians that make all of our product” – internet. I want the option, it can’t be a waste of money on Apple’s side of things? “Stupid is as stupid does” – Forrest Gump.
If this is where the music industry is headed, I’m glad that I wasn’t talented enough to be in a professional band, where I work for pennies when someone streams my music! At this point, EVERYONE should work for free if musicians have to!
I’m not a fan of Apple’s music software, but downloading from iTunes is very convenient, when it works properly! Kim & I have hacked away at problems that occur & “so far so good”
Lots of people like having the option to stream or purchase music. I don’t understand the cost benefit of doing away with both CDs & legal downloading?
This is just a very disappointing moment for the music industry. The guy that created Napster needs a hard smack upside the head. I hate to agree with anything Metallica drummer, Lars Ulrich, says but he was right for how he took a stand against Napster. I’ll see you soon vinyl! This entire idea I find to be very pathetic & stupid! A vinyl album costs a minimum of $20 each.
You can’t take vinyl albums to listen to in your vehicle but I guess you can take streaming music with you. I can also take my iPod full of iTunes purchases in the vehicle too. I just want the option. Purchasing vinyl albums will severely cut down on me purchasing music.
John Oliver has a bit on his show that asks this question.
I’d like to know this. How are mass shootings still a thing?
July 4th 1995 Dave Grohl released the first Foo Fighters album on which he recorded all of the instruments & vocals with the exception of one guitar part.
BARSTOOL PROPHETS
4 guys from Cornwall, Ontario. They released 2 major albums. I have the first one on CD & the other one is only available on www.amazon.ca for $70. I own the album “Crank” the 2nd one is called “Last of the Big Game Hunters”. I’d get the 2nd one but I’m not paying $70 for a CD!?!? “Crank” was released in 1995 & “Last of the Big Game Hunters” was released in 1997. I was under age to see them live in 1997 when they played in Regina, so I’ve never seen them live.
From what I can tell on their website, they just tour Ontario, Canada. I would think that if they’re still active they’d put their 2nd album on iTunes & Streaming sites. I’ve only seen the video for the song “Little Death” back in the day when Much Music actually played music videos 24 hours a day. That song was enough to make me get the CD. Luckily the rest of the album is great. Check out their website here https://www.barstoolprophets.ca/
It’s a 12 song album, so that should be enough for you to get the idea.
I agree with most of this. I think Trivium should be thrown in the mix & Lamb of God should be higher up. I like Slayer, but I find them over rated.
