The most anticipated regular season baseball 4 game series between the Blue Jays & Yankees in New York was rained out last night. I was looking forward to planting my butt on the couch to watch the first of 4 games. It’s been postponed until tonight, then a double header on Saturday. We’ll see if it happens tonight, the forecast in New York doesn’t look good as the play by play announcers said.
Kim’s been sick, she’s been home Wednesday, Thursday & today. Everywhere I look there’s phlegm, phlegm, phlegm, phlegm, phlegm, etc. I think our tissue box is near empty. When either one of us goes down, we both do. I went down for 4.5 years & took Kim with me. When she’s sick, I have to step up my game!
We sat on the couch to binge watch Scandal on Netflix. We started it on Monday & we’re about half way through the 2nd season. Ellen Degeneres was right on the money with that show, not because Portia is on it later on, but because it’s so good! We’re watching it some more today.
Kim’s getting better. I guess we’ll see if she’s up for celebrating a friend’s birthday tomorrow?

I have to switch between the 2 since the audio doesn’t work all of the time on one of them.
I’ll be honest. I didn’t watch much of the Oscars. I saw Tim McGraw as well as the Tegan and Sara performance & whatever awards were in between. I didn’t see most of the movies that were nominated. Not because I didn’t want to but because I’m lazy & I’d prefer to rent them from iTunes or just buy them on blu-ray. We bought “Gone Girl” on blu-ray the day it was available for purchase and “Sex Tape” which wasn’t as funny as I’d hoped.
April 7th, Foo Fighters HBO series will be released on DVD & blu-ray with bonus features. I know that the next Finger Eleven album is done the recording process, maybe mixing and mastering left to do, mixing should be done or close to. I read that they had finished recording in December or early January? I hope they don’t make “Them vs. You vs. Me” again? “Life turns Electric” was a step up but still quite different than their previous stuff. These are both from their self titled 3rd album
“Them vs. You vs. Me” was the next album & didn’t sound anything like Finger Eleven to me or a few others. Good album but drastic change. I’d prefer a group to sound the same and change a within their genre.
Not like old U2 but I like it.
