We had 4 Christmas’ this year.  First up was Christmas with Kim’s family.  Opened gifts here on Christmas Eve, then spent the 25th at Sherry & James’ place.  Played games, had our Christmas meal & watched a movie.  Kim’s family went home on Boxing Day.

In the afternoon of Boxing Day, Corey, Jolene, & Hannah came over in the mid-afternoon to have our Christmas we have with them as we do normally.  No big meal though!  Thank goodness.

The only problem for me was trying to figure out how to get into Sherry & James’ house.  It’s a nice place but not wheelchair friendly.  I made it in without falling!  I don’t think I’ve ever fallen there.  James’ brother Jeffrey was with us for 1/2 Christmas Day, & here on Christmas Eve as well.  He’s a really nice guy to chat with.

On the 27th we had Christmas with my family.  We all did an escape room.  2 teams of 5 people.  My uncle, his girlfriend, & 2 cousins were with us for Christmas.  We had pizza for supper, then opened gifts, & finished the evening with a game of Pictionary & Mad Gab.

After we had just finished opening gifts, my parents got a call from a paramedic in Calgary.  My grandparents were in Airdrie for Christmas staying with my aunt, uncle & 2 cousins.  They had dropped my grandparents of at the airport to fly home.  They hadn’t boarded the plane & my grandmother had “a small heart attack” they said.

They think it was cardio myopathy.  I guess it really damaged her heart & her brain wasn’t working quite right.  Mom & Dad were on the phone a lot on Friday (29th) keeping other family members up to date.

On the 28th I did absolutely nothing, I was REALLY tired.  Kim went over to visit Jolene & Hannah.  Their dog Dug needed to have a play date with Brewster.  Kim thought Corey was working, so I stayed home & watched “The X-Files” on Netflix.  I should have had a nap instead.  I was too young to watch this when it was on TV, but I can’t wait for the new season.

Friday the 29th was Christmas with my mother’s side of the family at my cousin’s house in Rouleau (pronounced Rolo).  Aunts, uncles, cousins & all of my cousin’s young kids.  More of a family get together.  No gifts or anything just appetizers & a turkey dinner.  Unfortunately Mitch & Dad were both ill & stayed home.

It’s REALLY cold out today, December 30, 2017, we’re not leaving the house today however, I’m wearing my usual attire of shorts & a T-Shirt though.  I even asked Kim for some of the comforter in the middle of the night.  That’s very rare.  Make a note on your calendar!

Cold day, a good day to hunker down & watch movies with Kimmy.  She found a “Rocky” marathon.  She loves those movies.  Yes, we own them all, from the first “Rocky” all the way to “#Creed”.

I don’t like to speak about my Christmas gifts.  It’s very embarrassing to me.  I’m grateful for them, but also embarrassed by the amount of stuff I receive.  I prefer & enjoy giving gifts.  That’s one of the reason I don’t talk about what I’ve received.  Please don’t ask?

Well, it’s New Year’s Eve December 31, 2017 means I’m 9 years cancer free.  I’m still in a wheelchair, iPatch over my left eye, & still on 5 medications.  All of that being said, I’m fine.

We spent New Year’s with Corey, Jolene, Hannah, Gosha, Twyla, & Elouise (spelling may be off here).  Yes we were home & in bed before midnight.

Kim has the entire week off, but I’ll start my workouts on Tuesday.   I’m going to change it up a bit throughout the year so it doesn’t become the same daily routine.  You’ll still get a weekly total though!

Just spoke with my mother, mom & dad may be heading to the Alberta boarder to pick up my grandparents this weekend (6th & 7th).  Just the other day grandma thought the year was 1532, she was in a mall, & had been there for 2.5 years.  Sounds like she is doing better now.  When the paramedic called on the 27th we were all shocked that they said Jean Fraser was in the back of the ambulance?  Grandpa is the one with a bad heart.  I guess I’m lucky to still have two grandparents alive at my age.  I also got to know 3 of my great grandmothers.

Another tune from “A Perfect Circle”

If I knew in 2017 what I know now, Pink, U2, The Devin Townsend Project, & Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds would have appeared on my top albums of the year.

Pink – Beautiful Trauma

U2 – Songs of Experience

No, I didn’t care for their free album either, “Songs of Innocence”

The Devin Townsend Project – Transcendence

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – Who Built the Moon?

I’ll do a review of these albums over the next 4 posts.  If you’ve never enjoyed U2, you probably won’t like their new album.  As a U2 fan, I REALLY like it.

I fell asleep to “Nothing but Thieves” their self-titled debut album.  Their 2nd album “Broken Machine” is out in September!

I exercised to “Alice in Chains” the album “Facelift”.  Alice in Chains were labeled as a metal group that gained success with the grunge movement.  If the media labeled them as metal, Soundgarden could easily been thrown into that mix.

Sunday ended with us having supper in Corey & Jolene’s back yard.  We were guinea pigs for the new smoker, we’re alive, the meat was tasty & safe!

I really had to check my pride at the door at WRC.  I’d have a bath once a week, every patient had a schedule for a bath once a week.  Complete strangers saw me naked, covered me up once I was on the gurney, take me to the bath, lower me into the bath & wash me or more often Kim would wash me.  It was awkward at first for me but I got over that pretty fast.

When I started this blog & acted like Trump or worse I thought I truly deserved something fantastic.  I beat a life threatening disease, & everyone was calling me a “Hero”.  I bought in to everybody’s hype & forgot how to remain humble.  What should I have done instead?  Remain humble, not let the hype get to me, & just be thankful to be alive, which is good enough for me!  Unfortunately I realized that later than I should have.  When I mess something up, I truly am my own worst enemy.

What made me think of entitlement?  There was a guy who was doing physiotherapy at the same time as I was with my occupational therapist.  He flipped out on the physiotherapist, started swearing at her, pointed to me and yelled “I WANT TO BE DOING WHAT HE’S DOING!” The next day when I had physiotherapy I apologized to my physiotherapist, telling her “Sorry you had to deal with that garbage yesterday”.  She replied “It comes with the territory”.  I told her “It shouldn’t though”.

I’ll admit that I had a rough day also.  I didn’t yell or swear at anyone.  I just said “No, not today!  I’m tired & I don’t feel like doing anything!”  I went for a short walk with my walker, Kim, & my physiotherapist.  I apologized the next day for my behavior.  My therapist said “That’s OK.  Everyone has a rough day once in a while”.  However you want to look at it, it’s not right!  What I should have said initially is “Sorry, I’m tired & I need a day off from therapy today.  Is it OK if I take today off?”

Guess who was sitting next to me in our (mom, dad, & I) Saskatchewan Roughrider season ticket seats?  The guy who flipped out that one day in therapy.  I don’t like what he did but, forgive & forget I guess, it’s done now.

If you’re here strictly for the cancer news, that’s all I have for you today.

The countdown for the new Royal Blood album is out Thursday @ midnight eastern time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 days

They’re both very HEAVY metal musicians, if this happens it could go either way for me.

So it’s Monday in the late morning & I just found out The Watchmen are co-headlining the Queen City Exhibition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOOT WOOT

Finally “Despicable Me 3” in theaters June 30th.  I’ve been waiting for the release date to be announced!

I was emptying the dishwasher after my exercise & breakfast.  Then realized it has been a while since I’ve listened to this album……………..

So many people like to go on youtube or any type of social media & just drop a HUGE pile of crap on how much they dislike a movie, album, song, etc.  I’m guilty of doing that also.  OK, could you have done anything even remotely close to that?  Maybe, maybe not?  Until you can & have you might as well keep quiet.  When you do will your feelings be hurt if 2 out of 3 people just demolish your “art” on social media?  If you don’t like it, why are you even involved with anything to do with it?  Leave it alone & walk away or voice your opinion your own channel dedicated to finding flaws in everything!  Most of us are old enough to make up our own mind!

I record & watch Jimmy Fallon & Conan the day after the late night showing.  I’m currently watching Jimmy Fallon.  Everybody rush out & get some “Tonight Dough” Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, 100% of the proceeds go to child charity.  You can eat ice cream while helping out & say “I had to do it for the kids!”  Just like miracle treat day at Dairy Queen!

Oddly enough, I was listening to this “Fleetwood Mac” album on Monday!

I think “Queens of the Stone Age” will be releasing their album soon?  Their Facebook page is active lately?  It will be their follow up to “…Like Clockwork” & 7th studio album!

Ozzfest meets Knotfest.  Probably too much metal for me?

I have no problem with Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot are OK I just prefer Slipknot Light, Stone Sour!

Just to cool not to share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The majority of metal fans are great people, just like every other community.  There’s a bad apple in every community.  Metal fans tend to get a “bad reputation.”

It’s gay pride week so if you’re an #LGBTQ member in or out of the closet, I fully support you as long as you’re a kind person.  If someone picks on you or makes fun of you because of your sexuality, I hope you have the strength to brush it off.  There are many idiots out there, but there’s also many people like me who fully support you!  Please don’t live a lie about your sexuality “Be Yourself” & own it.

Friday evening I watched the Blue Jays lose 2-0 to Cleveland in game 1 of a best of 7 series.  Cleveland won the game, Blue Jays didn’t really lose it.  If they can score 4-7 a game they should be able to win the series?  The Blue Jays scoring 4 runs in a game is not out of the question.  They have scored that many in one inning multiple times this year.  I think their “mantra” should be “Do what I did to get here, then do just a bit more”.  Pretty difficult to win a game when you don’t score.  Either way, this team will look very different next year.  I think there’s 8 players who have contracts expiring in the offseason & Rogers won’t be opening the purse strings to sign them all.  That includes some big names; Bautista, Encarnacion, & Michael Saunders.  Then some that will venture into arbitration.  This year is sort of a catch 22 for the GM & President.  If they win, everyone that can will be asking for more money, even now that they’re in the playoffs this could happen.  If they lose, well it’s a business of what have you done for me lately?

Saturday morning, I should have just stayed in bed, it was a day of Murphy ’s Law.  “This was easy yesterday, why not today?”  Then I get mad at myself.  The afternoon & evening turned out to be much better!  We went over to Corey & Jolene’s place for the Saskatchewan Roughriders win their 5th game of the year, 4 wins in a row.  Kim’s back was out for Hannah’s 3rd birthday.  Hannah got her birthday gift today from us, & we got supper and birthday cake!  Oh, and beer mmm!  Came home to watch the recorded Blue Jays game.  2 losses in a row.  Pretty hard to win 2 games when score 1 run over the course of 2 games.

Corey’s trying to sell me on Apple Music.  I use it to preview an album in it’s entirety, but if Apple Music goes down, there goes my music.  So I purchase my music through iTunes.  Sure, I spend more money & I have to cool it now, but what I have will always be there, I own it.  If Apple, with their steady decline in the market, takes away my music, that’s flat out stealing from a customer?  At first when he started using it he said something to the tune of “Make a list of what you listen to on Apple Music.  If it goes down, then purchase it.”  Solid point, but I can’t spend $600 all at once on music?  I’m just not comfortable with streaming sites.  Streaming site or not, artists aren’t making nearly as much money as they used to.  All of the 1980s hair metal groups made a pile of money & pretty much got whatever they wanted, so why not pay for music now?  I look at streaming sites as cheap satellite radio X 100.  You can listen to exactly what you want to hear, but it could be taken away at any moment.  That’s just how I see it.  Use a streaming site or not, there’s no manual about how to use the internet.

Everybody has a cell phone, I choose not to.  Does that make me or anyone else “with or without” wrong?  I don’t think so?

Sunday, try to do as little as possible, unless Kim has some fancy idea that I’d have to help her with.  We don’t do much on Sundays.  Kim gets groceries & cleans, steams her work close.  I do what I’m told.  Once that’s done, it’s couch time!

10 best Metallica riffs

What’s funny is listen to these 2 riffs!  They’re identical, Queens of the Stone Age just split the Metallica riff in half & it’s played on bass.  If you’re a guitar player, look up the music or tab!

Another tune from “Jimmy Eat World”

Brody Dalle, formerly of “The Distillers” now married to Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, has a new video.  I guess it’s from the 9 song album she released in April.  I wasn’t a Distillers fan.  This is all news to me.  This song seems to be good though!

Here’s a song from “The Distillers” & yes the singer is Brody Dalle.

A few people I went to SIAST with were casual fans of “The Distillers”.  That’s the only reason I know their name.

Soundgarden is releasing “Black Hole Rum” at “Full Tilt Ice Cream” locations in Seattle on October 30th.

I like Soundgarden & ice cream, Seattle’s too far for me to get ice cream.

3 years ago “Pearl Jam” released the album “Lightning Bolt”.   Not terrible to me but not their best album.

I don’t know if I’ve shared this before or not.  I do see it quite frequently though?

Thursday evening we just hunkered down the couch & watched some TV. Friday was mostly waiting to see “The Watchmen” play at the casino, 2 concerts down & at least 2 more to go. Corey & Jolene stopped by Friday morning with Hannah. They brought some muffins & coffee from Tim Hortons early day but it was good. The Watchmen show was REALLY great! Still nothing has attained the success of seeing “Tool” in Edmonton during August of 2006. I don’t usually sing along during concerts, but it just came out at The Watchmen, that never happens!

Saturday was our Easter with Kim’s family. Her parents came down Friday afternoon & stayed with Sherry & James, but all were here for Easter supper. Ham, corn, & hash brown casserole. Enough cheese & sour cream to cover up the taste of potatoes for me! If they aren’t scalloped, hash brown casserole, poutine, or fries with Ketchup or gravy, there’s a good chance they aren’t on my plate!

I can’t wait for summer! Regular season baseball with the air conditioning on full blast so it feels like a meat locker in here! It hit 25 degrees Celsius in here with the blinds closed! If it’s over 23 I sweat just sitting on the couch doing nothing.

Just had Easter Sunday supper with my grandparents & more family members at my grandparents condo…………………& who doesn’t like their grandmothers cooking!? Turkey ( I can eat it with gravy & stuffing, but I do prefer ham), stuffing, gravy, carrots, & mashed potatoes. There’s not enough gravy in the world for me to even consider eating mashed potatoes!

Only thing missing from the turkey suppers this weekend? TURNIPS!

Thursday’s Netflix & Chill courtesy

Ian Fletcher Thornley royal screwed up his own song released in 1997!

This is the 1 song I don’t like from his solo album. I’ll take the version from 1997 any day!

As much as I’m not a fan of Disturbed, I totally agree with this! Put your phone away for 2 hours & watch a concert with your EYES! I think I just blew everyone’s mind!! You’re welcome, you needed it! Video inside the link containing LANGUAGE!!!!

^^That snare drum is close to the snare drum sound on Metallica’s ‘St. Anger’. That’s not a good thing. I think Bob Rock produced that Metallica album & did nothing but collect a paycheck.

OK, just stop bashing Ben Affleck because I have also heard the exact opposite from some comic book website that proclaimed him the “Best Batman yet”! Who do you trust more in this scenario? Comic book fans or critics that sit upon their pedestal, look down their nose and say “Oh, rubbish”? I’ll take the hard core comic book fans. Face it, you’ve already decided months ago if you’re going to see it or not. I still plan on seeing it or just buying it on blu-ray! Just because someone’s title is “film critic” doesn’t mean they’re right. All it means is they watch a lot of movies! Has any “Star Wars” movie ever been handed an Academy Award?………..NO! Has the franchise ranked in a PILE of money?…YES!!!

When you see an incredible concert like The Watchmen on Good Friday, it becomes a Great/Wonderful Friday & you ask yourself “Why don’t I listen to their CDs more often?” Because I’m an idiot!

Friday night I slept on the couch. Kim was sleeping with someone else. I’d rephrase it but it’s true…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….etc.

We were babysitting Hannah for Corey & Jolene McDonald. Kim & Hannah slept in the bedroom which put me on our surprisingly comfy couch! We painted, we coloured with markers & crayons, had grilled cheese sandwiches, Kim gave Hannah her bath, then we watched part of “The Little Mermaid” then Hannah wanted to watch a movie from our “Big box”. It’s a tiny toy box with the 3 “Toy Story” movies in it. We watched some of “Toy Story 2” and hit the hay.

Saturday morning, Jolene picked up Hannah, brought coffee & Tim Bits! We were lazy for a bit until Kim decided she go do yoga in the afternoon. While she was out, I did as much as possible to clean up the paints, sticker books, crayons, markers, drawing pads, & other little things. Then I sat down to read some of my book on the Kindle with a pint of mead that was in the fridge. Kim came home & we binge watched all of the shows on our PVR from Thursday & Friday.

Sundays at our house is cleaning/laundry/ironing day or get ready for the week. Kim got groceries while I cleaned our nasty on suite bathroom. Fooled round with our TV that wasn’t working to listen to some “Into Eternity”, finally got it going, and took care of the dishwasher blasting “Into Eternity” followed by some “Big Wreck” until Kim got home.

“The Agonist” shared it……..

For a second I thought he was shutting down the band? Nope, just that particular show.

Corey & Jolene McDonald asked us to baby sit Friday night so we had chicken fingers, “auntie” Kim gave Hannah a bath, we played with her sticker book, painted, & watched the first “Toy Story” movie. Hannah slept over with “auntie” Kim on our inflatable mattress in the living room. Brewster & I got the king size bed all to ourselves. I got up around 7:30 am & was told to paint ASAP with Hannah, she was waiting for me to get up & paint with her. I was painting with Hannah at 7:45 am, I didn’t even know that time existed on a Saturday? Jolene picked her up around 10:00 or so, we got the house back in order. Saturday night Mitch & Rachel came over to hang out. Pizza Hut, & wine, I’m in! Ended up watching “Fail” videos on & solidifying my thoughts on cats. Cute as kittens, DANGEROUS when full grown. Mitch is getting old. They left around 9:30 pm, because he was tired.

Typical Sunday for us laundry, couch & TV. Kim’s back has been bothering her for a bit now. When she goes to pick something from the floor I always tell her “Wait, don’t wreck your back. Where do you want it? I’ll carry it for you?” I guess all of my exercise is doing something, even though I have a T-Shirt cycle of 10 shirts. I’m lighter than before, but all of my fat went straight to my belly?

I’m starting to become a bigger fan of “Coheed & Cambria” the more I hear them. You’ll either like his voice or find it terribly annoying. Here they are acoustic.

Canadians are very proud. I can’t remember which show but the show name dropped “Canada” then later on “Saskatchewan” & both times I thought “COOL”! That’s pretty much every Canadians reaction. No, we don’t live in igloos, yes on our waffles or pancakes most of us prefer real Maple Syrup, we don’t know Santa personally (just some of his helpers in the malls), Canadian bacon is just ham (we eat normal bacon strips), Coors Light is just a fancy way of saying “I’ll have some over priced, fancy water”, normal Canadian beer is 5%-6% alcohol, lots of Canadians like hockey, there’s more to the country than Montreal, Toronto, Calgary & Vancouver, Toronto has multiple sport franchises, we don’t say “Eh” or “aboot”, Canadians add a “u” to words that my spell checker has to learn about, etc. If you’re not Canadian watch this movie if possible…..

Kim was baby sitting Thursday night for Corey & Jolene McDonald. Trevor Redler came over to watch the highlights from the 1992 & 1993word series’ on DVD that I got for Christmas! We had both forgotten so much. We were even nervous at times then I realized “Ah, I know how this ends”.

Alter Bridge should be finished recording by the end of April, then Tremonti will hit the road for a tour on the 3rd solo album. Great music but seriously, dude, take a break!

Making a Murderer” on Netflix, I’m about half way through the series, but it’s worthy of binge watching!

Fans want director George Lucas back for the Star Wars franchise.

Lip Sync Battle. I watched it for a laugh this morning. It was very good. Mr. & Mrs. Tatum against each other.

Beyonce & Paula Abdul made a cameo

How fans want to pay tribute to Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead

A TON of Alter Bridge chat on Facebook. All of this hype but when I say Alter Bridge, the common response is “WHO?”

First single from their first album “One Day Remains” released in 2004. This song was all over Regina’s rock radio station.

Yeah, but who needs Ian Thornley in their group? EVERYONE?

Angel from Hell” I watched the first 4 minutes & thought it was a little campy, I continued watching & thought it was pretty good! I have HUGE expectations for “Fuller House” on Netflix, we’ll see.

Facebook is really slowing down, I don’t know how long I’ll keep this blog going for 2015?

50 awful metal album covers

Hahaha! These are terrible! Most of them I’ve never heard of. I have 2 from iTunes, “Black Sabbath” & “Iron Maiden”

Review of the new Justin Bieber album. I’m not sure about it yet?

Is your favourite vocalist on the list? For me it will always be Myles Kennedy & he’s not on the list! If I had to pick from this small sample, it would be Randy Blythe from Lamb of God.

Albums I’m looking forward to in 2016. I only know of 2 releases, Megadeth on January 22nd (already preordered) & of course Tool. Not sure when Into Eternity will be released, I’m assuming next year? “The League of One”, a local band, has an album release on Saturday, December 5th. I just heard the new Tremonti album will be released early next year! More cash to be spent next year!

Live review/interview!

Classic Richard Pryor albums released digitally for the first time!

I’ve never been a fan of Motley Crue or Godsmack. Maybe they should keep their feud quiet & actually speak to each other. OH MY! TALK TO SOMEONE? THAT WOULD BE INCREDIBLE! IS IT THE EARLY ’90s AGAIN??????????????????

Ed Sheeran is AWESOME!

HOLY CRAP!!!! 3,000,000 copies in a week!

Pearl Jam” covers “U2” live?

I don’t get it, I may have posted it too? Why would you post something on social media about threatening to commit suicide?

Christmas tree time now. Saturday evening we went to Corey & Jolene’s place for supper & a Christmas movie with their daughter Hannah. Good times, & great people!

I forgot to take my pills last night. I was in bed by 10:00 pm & woke up around 10:30 am. Should have taken my pills! I was awake for 3 or 4 hours in the middle of the night. I took my pills & all was well. Finally fell asleep!

I was watching Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown, as I usually do 5 days a week for the first hour of 3 hours. On Friday’s & Monday’s the first hour is for people to call in & ask questions or comment on any topic, from any major North American sport. November 26th and 80% of the phone calls were still about the Blue Jays. Bob said something I had never thought of. Everybody is speculating as to whether free agent pitcher David Price will sign with the Jays since he was traded to them at the trade deadline at the end of July. He’ll likely be signing the last contract of his career, looking for something like $33-$35 million a year for 6-7 year. As Bob said in reply, “If David Price had finished the season with, his former team, The Detroit Tigers, nobody would be talking about THE elite pitcher in the game signing with the Jays”. Bob 1 other Jays fans 0. He also added “Why not take that money, cut it in half & sign 2 decent starting pitchers, instead of the current super star”! Brilliant!

After watching the Blue Jays playoff run last season, I learned something. Good pitching & good defense will usually win against a monster offense that averages 5.5 runs/game. If their pitching staff can have an Earned Run Average, E.R.A., of 4.70 or less they’ll likely win more games than they lose.

Songs I like, “Van Halen” I’m not a huge fan of them, but I have nothing against them. In the end, I’m good either way. I could do with a Greatest Hits album.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about Bedouin Soundclash.  I bought the one album on CD in 2005, it had Corey & Jolene’s wedding song on it, this song as they walked down the isle after the ceremony! off of the album “Sounding a Mosaic”.  It is a pretty solid album all the way through.  Before I had cancer I clicked on “Auto Fill” on my iTunes to see what it did?  I wound up with a ton of music I didn’t like on my iTunes and as I looked at Bedouin Soundclash today I see I have their album “Street Gospels” as well.  I guess I’ll keep that along with the double album of Pearl Jam’s “Lost Dogs” and I think there’s another album I kept?

Anyways if you use iTunes, DON’T CLICK ON THAT BUTTON!!!! I spent days deleting stuff from my iTunes  including doubles of songs I already had!  I have all of Foo Fighters albums and it doubled each song on “The Colour and The Shape” album.  I didn’t realize that until I was listening to the album on my iPod and I’d hear each song twice in a row!  I really like Foo Fighters, but not that much!  It was a very time consuming experience!

You could pick any song off of “Sounding a Mosaic” and enjoy it if you like that song.  They don’t all sound the same, but they’re all good!

Our weekend.  First of all the week should be more even, 3 days for a weekend and 4 days a week for work?  I don’t work but I’m still busy on random “days of the week”

Our weekend started Friday night.  Supper with Cam and Michelle, then back to our condo they hadn’t seen yet.  We were supposed to go to The Exchange to see my brother’s group Room 333 play on Saturday night, Kim wasn’t feeling so good, so we had to cancel.  They have another show sometime in March.  On The Exchange side (bigger side than the Club side than they were playing on Saturday).  Today we had brunch at Corey and Jolene’s house.  Probably the only “…..real….” meal I’ll get this week. We got to see baby Hannah again today she seemed to be in a good mood!  Lots of big smiles from her!  She had a stare down with me she was probably thinking “Who’s the hairy creepy guy?” at the time.

Kim & I are juicing still, just took a break for Friday evening and brunch today.  Supper will probably be a lettuce wrap and a juice.  I was looking at and didn’t like what I saw.  I’ve put on weight, probably because I’ve continued the bad eating habits I had in the WRC.  I could eat anything near the last 2 years there and not gain any weight, cereal, chocolate, multiple pounds of Blue Whales, 15L of eggnog, etc.  I’m not morbidly obese, “fat” or anything, just a little chunkier in my belly area
