Facebook keeps telling me to “Boost my Posts” for $4-$13 so more people will see it.  I’m not making any money from this blog, so I’m relying on you to share any & every post on Facebook (publically) or email please!

Friday ended with us getting ready for Saturday.

My family, including Sherry & James, came over for pizza & Kim made carrot cupcakes.  I had no plans to have a birthday celebration this year.  Corey & Jolene’s daughter, 4 year old Hannah, asked “auntie” Kim if I was having a birthday party & if she was invited.  So I had a birthday party.  Hannah helped me blow out the candle on my cupcake after pizza.

I was considering a carrot cake from a bakery with “My Little Pony” on it for Hannah, so I know she’d like it.  It will taste the same no matter what’s on it!  I figured “As long as Hannah has a fun time”.

My birthday wasn’t really on Saturday, it’s on Tuesday but I can’t really drink multiple Guinness beer & Electric Cherry beer on Tuesday.  That’s when I exercise, back to the grind tomorrow & perhaps some fish tacos somewhere close for supper.  I don’t need anything fancy a pint of beer & some fish tacos is more than good enough for me!

Today is just getting ready for the week, boiling eggs, making a veggie juice, Kim has gone grocery shopping, etc.  Pretty normal Sunday for us.

Fall Out Boy – M A N I A

I like this album.  I don’t love it & I don’t hate it, I like it.  I would never consider them as a “rock” band.  More as a guitar based pop band.  If you’re looking for a rock band, you’re at the wrong place.  Their first album just suddenly appeared in my iTunes music years ago.  They use a lot of samples from older groups, at least on their last 3 albums, including this one.  I’d prefer a band that performs the song & play with a recorded backing track made by someone else, that’s probably why I don’t listen to rap music.  I’d give this album 3/5 stars.  The album is only 10 songs long.  I prefer longer albums of 12 or more songs, unless it’s “Dream Theater” or “Opeth”, then 5 songs that have a few songs around 8 minutes & 20 minutes.

Singer, Patrick Stump, explains the song writing process in “Fall Out Boy”

I don’t know of any album release dates other than “Myles Kennedy” his solo album “Year of the Tiger” on March 9th.  Lead singer for “Alter Bridge”

Jack White has banned cell phones at his concerts.  Here’s my slightly different approach.

Cell Phones.  Turn it to vibrate, keep it with you for emergency. Warn people before the show (like in movie theaters). If it vibrates, step out to receive the text or call. If the musicians see your phone on they should stop, since you’re busy with your text or email, until security tosses the person out. I wonder what people did before cell phones? Right they went to a concert & enjoyed it for the memorable experience!

My friend from grade 9, Mr. Timothy Wong on cello!  We’ve always kept in touch.  BFF!

If you can’t keep it in your pants they’ll take it away! (Pun intended).  Male or female!

Dag Nam it!  I’m old, or young to some.  I graduated high school in June of ’98 (20 years ago).

You don’t have to be white to be racist!  You just need to be an idiot & post garbage like this on www.youtube.com.  Enjoy your lonely life!

VERY OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So in the past week we saw “Rush”, “Slayer”, ”Elton John”, & “Neil Diamond” retire.  “Elton John” might continue recording but not tour?  That’s gonna be one rocking retirement home someday!

Thursday afternoon Timothy Wong came over with his two kids going into grade 7 and grade 6. Tim & I have been best buds since grade 9! That night was the Saskatchewan Roughriders CFL team’s season opener. Tim was in town for that he lives in Edmonton, that’s where he went for University after high school. Dad & I are still in our season ticket seats. Roughly 10 stairs up for me in the 22nd or 21st row in seats 1 & 2. Directly in front of us when we come up the stairs. I’ve been going to the games since my Grandfather could hold me on his lap as a baby, so I’m guessing for 33 years, I’m 36 now, I guess I shouldn’t count the 4.5 years I was in the hospital with cancer?

I fell Friday in the late afternoon while I was going into my parents house. My Grandparents were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday. On Friday people were coming to my parents place for a BBQ. Kim & I got there at roughly 4:30 pm. Kim backed up the vehicle so I could walk along the side of the car & grab the railing at the front of the house. 1 hand on the vehicle & 1 hand on the railing. I figured “Ah, I’ve done this before, shouldn’t be a problem.”? Oh did I ever misjudge that! Got my arms in place & fell right on the driveway. Fortunately I’ve sort of learned to fall on my side or my bum, so it doesn’t hurt & I don’t break a bone. Of course everyone starts freaking out. “Don’t worry, I’m fine” I told everyone as I was getting on the front step & about to stand holding on to the railing. In the end I was fine. No bruises, scrapes, scars, or anything like that, all of that exercising has really paid off! Yes, I will continue to exercise as much as I can, even if I one day get a job. I really don’t like exercising but I miss it when I don’t, I almost feel guilty on the weekends?

Saturday night we celebrated my grandparents 60th anniversary. I’ve been going to that place since university, I had no clue there was a private room at the back of the building. I enjoyed it. All of my aunts, uncles & cousins from out of town. It’s pretty rare to see us all together since everybody but my immediate family is out of province. We had supper & the cake my aunt made at Tony Romas then we went back to my parents place for a while. Most of us were outside & around midnight it just started dumping rain. Most people left but a handful of us went inside. Kim & I left at about 1:00 am.

Today I watched the Blue Jays demolish the Cleveland Indians 17-1.  My uncle & cousin came over to hang out & watch the game with me.  Good times all weekend, busy but good!

Rolling Stone magazine’s weekend question? My favourite pop punk album would be one of the following 3….

As much a I like Pearl Jam, Jack White’s not about to get any of my money. Every famous musician has worked hard to get where they are, but I don’t have to like their music or waste my time & energy hating them. Wait 3 minutes & the song will be over, don’t turn on the radio if you like or don’t purchase or stream their music.

Well known for his work in The White Stripes

In Flames DVD, yes please!!!!!! They’re currently working on a new album. There is no release date for the DVD or album.

Today’s workout was brought to you by “Muse” the album “Absolution”

Squats aren’t that fun. Muscles I haven’t ever thought about are killing me today. I’ve done a total of 100 squats this week. That’s enough squats for the week. I changed it up & did 50 push ups & yoga to stretch some painful muscles. I’ve got the mind of someone in their 20s & the body of someone in their 90s. Yet I haven’t turned 36 yet?

We all knew American Idol wouldn’t go on forever. I’m assuming people got bored with the platform. Not all of the winners went on to stardom, yet kids continued to audition. I couldn’t point out what went wrong other than it’s been around for 15 seasons, & FOX wanted something new? That’s just my guess. It’s weird to think some kids don’t know a world without American Idol? It’s a great marketing tool, but how many winners of the show went on to large success? I could only name a few at best. Where did the 2014 winner go?

These are just funny, hidden baseball tricks that make the opposing player look like a fool. Yes, I’ve been on both sides of these plays.

I saw some photos of some artists. “Kongos” is finishing the vocals for their album. “Linkin Park” is in the studio Chester Bennington was shown recording vocals. “Alter Bridge” are writing/rehearsing for their 5th album & will be in the studio “soon”. Looks promising for new music this year. If anyone is coming to a place near you, I encourage you to go out & support your preferred musician. This free music is hurting the industry. I should get out to more shows as well. We have an actual money tree, but it just grows leaves, not printed money……………BAD, MONEY TREE, BAD!!!!!!!!

Wolfmother fans, here’s the new single. I like their sound, I could see the vocals getting old fast? I’ll have to check them out. I do remember hearing their first big hit in 2006 or 2007?

Today’s workout was brought to you by the letter “B”, as in Barstool Prophet’s album ‘Crank’. This was released in 1995, & I own it on CD. I remember hearing they were coming to town on tour for their 2nd album. It was in a bar though & I was under age.

Kim’s fine despite the lyrics. This was the first single from their first of 2 albums. I didn’t get the 2nd album & I can’t find it? Yes they’re Canadian.

The Fraser family lost a distant relative yesterday morning. My biological Uncle’s sister-in-law, my cousins’ aunt. She passed away yesterday of cancer in the Wascana Rehabilitation Center, just down the hall that I was initially in on the 2nd floor. I don’t think she was there for therapy physical or occupational, she was able to go to the cafeteria on her own for her meals.

At first the outlook didn’t look promising at all, then she had surgery & things were looking much, much better, then the cancer came back & spread to some vital organs. I didn’t see her much, but it’s sad to see her leave her family & friends. I don’t know if she was in pain, but if she was, at least she’s not in it anymore.

So we add a funeral to our busy weekend. We don’t have to, but as soon as I got off the phone with my mother yesterday, I didn’t even hesitate & thought “I’m attending, no ifs, ands, or buts”.

I saw a photo on Megadeth’s facebook page yesterday. December 5th in Mexico, Megadeth, Lamb of God, Trivium all on the same bill as chosen by Slipknot who is also playing. I’m not a huge Slipknot fan, but the other 3 together would pay for my ticket to Knot Fest in a second!

Slipknot is a bit to heavy for me though. I have one album from iTunes though from earlier in their career

To see how many goals Montreal will win by or to see Toronto win their first game of 34 wins in an 82 game season. Toronto’s last championship was WHAT!!!! In the ’60s?

Why does a band even have to make them anymore? MTV, Much Music, VH1, etc. don’t play music videos 24 hours a day anymore. I know Much Music plays 1 hour a day of just music videos. So why does anybody have to make a music video? Unless you go to www.youtube.com, a Facebook page, or a website, there is a good chance you won’t see it?

What were we up to this weekend? Gerry came down from Saskatoon for his birthday. So on Saturday we went to James & Sherry’s place in the late afternoon, then Brewsters East for dinner, then back here to our place for a few beverages & a visit until 1:00am or so? Sunday, Kim went out for groceries while I watched baseball. We had supper then watched a few episodes of Scandal, 4 episodes left of the 2nd season.

I forgot to turn on the stereo for my workout. I was part way through my workout & then realized it was quiet. “Ah, the remote’s way over there. It can stay there!”. I did make a fruit/vegetable smoothie after though. I just wash & cut up what’s needed then toss it in our Vitamix blender, that usually lasts me 3 or 4 days. My kitchen music was “Dream Theater’s” ‘Awake’ album.

I’m not on a diet. I exercise & watch what I eat. If we go out for a meal on the weekend, I MAKE IT COUNT! If I’m watching baseball or the CFL I have a beer or 2 that’s all, usually it’s water, cranberry juice or black coffee & small amounts of alcohol on “the weekend”.

I still have a list of 4 albums that should be coming out this year yet no release dates at the moment. Tool, I have no idea about, it will be released when it’s done, I’m not holding my breath on that one. Coheed & Cambria will be released October 16th but I’m waiting to hear the iTunes preview before I grab it. LANGUAGE!!!

Yes, pun intended. I’m a DQ royal treat as a friend or family member!

I called Kim at work yesterday since I made my lunch of cheese, chicken, sun dried tomatoes, & hot sauce in a wrap. I told her we were almost out of grated cheese, then we chatted about other stuff. I called her back immediately to remind her that the phone call was “All about dat cheese, ’bout dat cheese, no chicken. All about dat cheese, ’bout dat cheese, no chicken, etc.” I’m a delight to live with! See Rachel Gianoli you’re not the only one when we get paired up for Crokinole. Rachel’s “All about dat post, ’bout dat post, no 20. etc.”

OK Apple, iTunes that’s enough! I wanted something done my way, so I did it. All of our iTunes files are perfect on our 2 computers, my iPod, Kim’s iPhone, & iPad. The problem is now Apple’s or iTunes problem. I bought the recently released “Silverball” album by Barenaked Ladies on iTunes, it works fine on every device but our TV/home stereo. Our TV doesn’t even recognize that we own it? I go into Barenaked Ladies & I see 9 or 10 albums in alphabetical order, at the end I see “Rock Spectacle” then “Stunt”? “Silverball” should be in between those albums. SURPRISE! It’s not there! I pre-ordered “Highly Suspect’s” debut album & got 5 songs with my pre-order. 3/5 songs I received are grayed out on the TV. I can get 2 of them to work on our TV. Are those the only songs that will work on our TV when the album is released on Friday? All of this ballyhoo started with the launch of Apple Music Radio on Tuesday, June 30th which I hear is also not so great. There is no way I’ll pay $9.99/month for a crappy radio station subscription. We have a hot deal for Serious XM at the moment for under $10/month we get it. When that sale is done, so is our subscription to Serious XM. I’ve done all I can on my end, now Apple has the ball in their court.

Why is everything a competition now? 10 best Pearl Jam songs. I can’t even pick my top 4 ALBUMS, forget 1 best song?

Does this mean “Staind” is done?

I don’t know much about “Staind” they’re not a group I’m invested in.

The only Metallica album I like.

Yes, I complain about the heat but this is way over the edge! LOTS OF LANGUAGE!!!! IF THEY WERE TO CENSOR THE LANGUAGE, THIS WOULD BE 90% BEEEEEEEEP!

^^Do I need to have a chat with Moses?

“Gorillaz” are coming back, Damon Albarn is back & it sounds as though “Blur” is or has made a “come back”? I wasn’t a fan in the ’90s & I likely won’t be a fan now. All of these include Damon Albarn on lead vocals.

Iron Maiden beer!!!!????? AWESOME!!!!! Guess what I fell asleep to, listening to my iPod last night?

Remember the interview with Hanson & their beer “Mmm Hop”

^^You’re welcome!!! That just happened & now it’s stuck in your head!

There are way to many sub genres for metal music. Power, speed, thrash, black, death, nu, etc. For me I hate putting sub genres labels on music. There’s good or bad music. Metal, Rock, Country, Rap, R & B, & Pop. It’s either good or bad to each individual & will differ to each person. Example “Slayer” I need & have one album. After 90% of that album has played, for me personally it get’s old & repetitive. I have what is likely their most successful album “Reign in Blood” not “Raining Men”.

Queens of the Stone Age albums ranked worst to first. I’d have to agree with the worst choice. Their favourite I would have to make my 2nd favourite my favourite would be “…like Clockwork” Dave Grohl played drums in the studio on both of those albums.

I love this album! Elton John played on it as well! Very slow melodic piano only songs to this song (about as heavy as they get on this album).

There is currently no way I can get on the bandwagon for “Gorillaz”

If a fan is acting like a moron & ruining the concert for others and security isn’t taking care of the problem, I think if whoever is onstage sees the fan doing it, has every right to kick them out.

Why is Myles Kennedy or Alter Bridge not a household name. Myles has an incredible voice! You don’t need to like him but you should at least know who he is.

Backing vocals on this tune below….

His former band that opened for The Watchmen & headliner Big Wreck back in the day, ’99 or 2000?

Alter Bridge’s first single off of their 1st of 4 albums. Song was all over the radio in Regina radio in 2004.

In his free time, when he’s not singing for Slash or Alter Bridge, he’s been working on a solo album the last 4 years! Alter Bridge’s 1st single off of their 4th album. Myles is currently on tour with Slash.

I’m not a fan of “3 Doors Down”, but this is right on point. Treat other concertgoers with respect. I broke my nose at a festival in ’99 in a mosh pit. My nose was pouring blood. Everybody immediately cleared a path for me to security at the front of the stage/guard rail where I was told where the First Aid tent was. I was missing part of Big Wreck’s set! That’s proper concert etiquette. LANGUAGE BELOW!!!!

OK, Jack White stated late last year that he “can’t afford to tour”, 50 Cent filled for bankruptcy on Monday, yet nobody has changed a thing……WHY? Jack White sold the most vinyl albums in North America last year out of 8 million sold in total! I don’t know the price of a vinyl album? I think I’ve bought one in my 35+ years. I blame digital music at a low if not free price. I love the idea of iTunes. I was sitting on my butt in front of the computer last night, & I thought “Hey, I should check out this album on iTunes”. I did, I liked it & bought it after a preview. Within 3 minutes I thought of an album previewed it & bought it for $6.99. Didn’t leave the house to go to a store & buy it over the course of 45 minutes. My only problem with digital music is, where does the money go?

Remember the ’80s & ’90s? Why did those groups rise to fame & live in mansions while today’s artists are just getting by & don’t get to have that type of lifestyle? I want to own the music I listen to & I do own it through iTunes. There needs to be a change in the dispersal of the money. Apple could survive on $0.50/download, artists management/label could survive on $1.00/download & the artist could get $0-$9/ per album download or $0-$1.00 per song download. But then people would have to pay for music “OH, SNAP!! I CANT AFFORD THAT!”! Really I bought CDs for the average price of $25.00 per CD. Roughly 600 of them. Paying for a product won’t kill you, you just may have to slow done on your music purchases?

I took a TON of stuff for granted, walking, living in a first world country, having clean water & food at my disposal. Most of us never think about those things, me included. It’s just a case of “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” I’m not complaining, I’m alive, I live with my best friend and a cute dog, I have 4 walls around me & clean water. As long as I have those essentials, I can’t complain!

I was just burning a couple of rare albums that I bought very early in 2001 or 2002 when they were released. A couple of friends would like them but missed out & now they’re out of print & not on iTunes or anywhere else. I’m pretty sure that’s legal. You could trade tapes, vinyl, CDs, etc. Now it’s a bit more difficult with iTunes. I guess I could go on a streaming music site for a while & burn the music I like on to a CD if I believed in free music?

I guess Sam Smith lost his voice. He’s “better now” & can speak. He’s rescheduled his tour.

You can pre-order the Lamb of God CD from their website or pre-order it with some merchandise as well.

Jack White has been inducted to the ‘Nashville Walk of Fame’

My iTunes has 1362 albums including my 3 pre-orders coming this month. Just waiting for more pre-orders & release dates. That includes roughly 300/half of my CDs. Half of those albums are on my iPod & the other half are on my iTunes. We pay $27.00/year for iTunes match. With that, my computer does not have to be on & we can listen to all of our music through our receiver/amplifier.
“…I don’t wanna brag, I don’t wanna boast….”

Songs I like! “In Search of Sun”

Rock It Out Blog from Monday

Why Megadeth’s “Killing is my Business…………..And Business is Good” is an important album

I really hope the new Megadeth album is released this year?

Big Wreck shared it……

What is “nu metal”? Is it a sub genre of groups people don’t know where other bands should fit? There are a TON of bands labeled as nu metal, but none of them have anything in common sound wise? Here’s 4 bands labeled as nu metal…

Do any of these sound remotely similar? Not to me. Am I missing something? Why are these groups all labeled as ‘nu metal’? For me it’s more of a “….I don’t know what hole these square pegs fit in?….”

Slipknot tease summer tour

Paul McCartney gave up marijuana for his grandchildren

Interview/article with A. D. D. guitarist

In Flames share it, so here it is…

These 2 albums won’t disappoint Barenaked Ladies fans!!! Yes, I got the new album (Silverball) last night!

I’ve never thought of (Megadeth singer) MegaDave Mustaine as a bad guy?

The new ‘Florence & The Machine’ album is out, it’s sounds good. Something I’d buy but never listen too. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/how-big-how-blue-how-beautiful/id965931771

Ed Sheeran plays metal songs on the Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon!

This is what he played at the end of the show.

The more Ed Sheeran I hear, the more I like him. When I heard his first album, I thought it was some of the most unique music I had ever heard!

“One week” from today on iTunes “Cauterize” by Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge. “Drones” by Muse!

I was all hyped up about seeing “Halestorm” in Moose Jaw, then realized they were opening for “Three Days Grace”. I’m not a fan of “Three Days Grace”

I’m on the fence about this show, it’s a Tuesday in November & I don’t like going out during the week. We’ll see how much tickets are I guess. Moose Jaw is much closer than Saskatoon the next day!

USA headline dates for ‘Royal Blood’

Muse article about the song ‘Reapers’ from the upcoming album. Song inside link.

Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) details solo album.

The Gallagher brothers together as members of “Oasis” were arguing constantly in the ’90s. Kept themselves in the news with a new argument almost every other day. Here’s what Noel Gallagher has to say to “One Direction”

I’d love to see “Limblifter” at The Exchange, but it’s a Wednesday?

Jack White’s label “Third Man Records” is moving to Detroit!

REALLY? Mariah Carey joins dating site to share a new song?

A lot of music for me yet to come out this year. Muse, Tremonti, Walk off the Earth, Lamb of God, Finger Eleven, Stone Temple Pilots, Tool, Megadeth, Into Eternity & maybe other surprises like the new Zac Brown Band which is really good!

Songs I like! “I Mother Earth” I REALLY like them! Based in Ontario, Canada. 2 songs from each (four) albums & a few singles they are releasing now. I can almost hear my mother screaming at my brother & I washing dishes after supper while listening to these guys, “TURN THAT CRAP DOWN!!!” Hahahahahaha!

OK, I’m at 51 or 52 subscribers now you do the work please? If I see this 100 times that’s fine, please spread the word?

Give the site a minute to load the facebook & youtube links. If the youtube links aren’t open so you can see a still photo from the video, as well as the song title & the artist. Come to the website. My mother gets nothing for youtube links on her email I’ve found out.

OK it’s “…I’m too hot, hot damn…” & I don’t want to go “Outside”

Jack White on former band mate Meg White.

I didn’t really find the “Batman” movies that good, until the Christian Bale movies personally. The previous movies I found a bit “campy” & over the top.

6 Big Wreck tour dates 5 in Ontario & 1 in Alberta at the Calgary Stampede

2 men were shot & 1 missing from “Rocklahoma” festival

Friday, July 10th at The Exchange. Third Ion album release show/party

Aftershock festival line up. No thanks for me, big names though!

11 years ago “Slipknot” released “Vol. 3-The Subliminal Verses”

11 years ago Tony Knuttila, my brothers friend at the time, was telling me how good Slipknot is by saying “AAWW $h!+” 40 times in a 10 minute conversation. That was the first time I met him. Hahahahaha! Really, it happened!

Megadeth in studio. Follow up to the album “Super Collider”

Rock It Out Blog Mater piece review. Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds”

18 days of bleak, dreary music I’m guessing
http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/05/thom-yorke-composed-a-soundtrack-of-new-music-thats-18-days-long/ Personally “Radiohead”, started a very quick decline with the release of their fourth album “Kid A”. One OK album to begin & 2 FANTASTIC albums after! This is from one of the FANTASTIC albums!

Muse photo. I can’t wait for June 9th!

The other album I’m waiting for on June 9th!

“Lifehouse” has a new album. I thought they disappeared honestly? This song blew up on radio when it was released. Gets old pretty fast for me. Way more albums from them on iTunes than I thought.

This is still in the news? I didn’t know they had so many fans?

Stream the new Barenaked Ladies album for free. Release on Tuesday June 2nd.

I really liked the first “Joe Dirt” movie, this looks promising too!

I’d go to 7/25 of these concert summer tours, & likely Smashing Pumpkins if they weren’t touring with Marilyn Manson.

Marilyn Manson can do his thing, I’ll be WAY over here doing something completely different.

Rock bands never went away, they’re just not as easy to find. More stuff to sift through that’s all.

^^Rock bands. Not metal bands.

“End of the Tour” movie trailer with Jason Segel

At the moment “Third Ion” is at number 18 on the iTunes metal charts!!! Keep it going people!

“Guitar Hero Live” has added more hard rock & metal tracks to the playlist

Songs I like. “High Holy Days” from the ’90s. Not on iTunes, good thing I bought the CD when it was released!

Not much on youtube either.

OK, I’m at 51 or 52 subscribers now you do the work please? If I see this 100 times that’s fine, please spread the word?

Sorry, Sunday’s post was late. Busy day for us!

Give the site a minute or 2 to load all of the links & everything should be fine.

Check it out if you like. What my brother started when I got cancer! No, I’m not biased it’s really good! I don’t do reviews I could but I know everyone doesn’t like the same stuff as much as I do or even like it at all. So I would say at least check out these albums on iTunes.

Look what was released today on iTunes. “Third Ion’s” debut album!

I like going out for breakfast, just not on Sundays. It seems like everybody & their dog go out for Sunday brunch. We did luck out & find a place not busy at all on Sunday. I thought for sure we’d have to wait ½ an hour for a table at 11:00am for 4. We lucked out & went right in with only a few tables full.

After brunch we spent the day at my parents house. Kim sat outside with my mom, dad was doing yard work & I was inside watching the recorded Blue Jay game, aka swearing at the TV. Had supper & left shortly after

I think it’s time to start complaining about the heat! I can only tolerate 15-23C. Anything over that & I start pouring sweat, from EVERYWHERE! If you want to find me this summer, I’ll be naked in front of an A/C vent or in a cold shower! I can’t stand the heat & I’m really fun to be around when I’m hot, ask Kim. Come on polar vortex, I miss you! That’s how I roll, literally!

I’ve got 4 albums coming in June. First up is Barenaked Ladies on June 2nd. Then Tremonti & Muse on June 9th & finally Walk off the Earth on June 16th, all pre-ordered on iTunes.

Tremonti & Muse are the ones I’m most anxious for. Barenaked Ladies were mine & my brother’s first concert in ’92. I was 12 & Mitch was 5 at the time!

This usually a guarantee with a choreographed dance as well at most shows of theirs

10 incredible guitar prodigies, where they’re t now, would easily blow me out of the water on a perfect day for me. I was/am a very slow guitar player, never a fast solo player, just simple rhythm guitar.

Review of The Rolling Stones tour.
10 shows for American soldiers on Memorial Day. Yes, Paramore does a live cover of Foo Fighters.

I tend to agree with Jack White. You don’t have to tour, it is expensive & musicians don’t make much money if any from a newly released album. You also don’t have to release anything unless you want the world to hear it, you’re making music that YOU want to hear. This cheap/free music will catch up to almost everyone if something drastic doesn’t happen soon. Musicians can’t afford to go on tour everywhere so why should they bother releasing new material? They’ll get a 9-5 job & play music at home after work & on the weekends.

Fear Factory are back & plan on releasing a new album. I had a ton of their albums before I was diagnosed with cancer that I downloaded for free. All of their stuff sounds the same to me. I deleted all of it very fast.

I like “American Ninja Warrior” it’s more of a sports entertainment show & an actual competition. You win or lose. You aren’t chosen by a group of “judges” on a subjective talent show & no points for pretty.

Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell plans 4th solo album. Here’s a song from each of his 1st 2 solo albums. I’ve never heard the 3rd album & I only own the first one.

Trent Reznor credited for music consultant on “Batman : Arkham Knight Asylum” video game

I don’t consider music a competition. Personally if I had my choice of these 2 bass players, it would be Flea of the (Red Hot Chili Peppers)

No disrespect to Flea, I just prefer Robert DeLeo from STP.

Songs I like. “Harry Connick Jr.”

I also have 3 Christmas albums of his. I don’t put them on my iPod until the holidays.
