Do you have a question about stage 4 brain cancer? Ask if you do!

I fell asleep to “Foo Fighters” the album “The Colour and The Shape”
I exercised to “In Fames” the album “I, the Mask”

Well we know our dog Brewster is OK for now. We knew that he has a severe heart murmur & thought it was getting serious since he was coughing so hard that he would gag. Turns out that he has bronchitis. He’s on cough medicine, anti-biotics, & got a steroid shot at the vet Sunday evening. No heart medication for now. The cardiologist looked at his X-rays & his heart isn’t enlarged. His cough was getting pretty bad, sounded like a veteran smoker! I guess he is around 98 in dog years. Thought I’d have to get all parental on my almost 14 year old dog for smoking cigarettes!

When I mix Brewster’s dry food with his wet food, in order for him to gain some weight, we have a routine. “Hello my name is Chef Daddy. Today/This evening I will be preparing you some very stinky dog food. A mixture of your regular smelly dry food with a touch of smelly wet food. Special just for you”. He gets a look in his eyes as if he’s saying “Shut up and put down my bowl already!”

Brewster’s health news was a relief, I was expecting much worse. The house thing will happen when it happens, & just getting over that stuff mentally feels as though SO much weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Hard to save cash when you live on disability, Canadian pension plan & are still under the poverty line.

Between mixing Brewster’s food, exercise, practicing guitar, keeping the house relatively clean, wrestling with Brewster on occasion, house hunting, & other regular everyday things. I keep myself quite busy during the day, then Kim comes home & we try to relax with some TV. It may not sound like much but remember I’m in a wheelchair which slows me down a bit.

He seems to have extra energy now. I like that he’s up & about, checking things out. He seems to keep track of me around here during the day. He’s more like a puppy than he was when I left my Rehab program in 2012. He wants to wrestle & play now. He used to be content just sleeping in his kennel most of the day.

I’m good, it’s Wednesday that’s about the time of the week that my body get’s stubborn & doesn’t want to exercise, but I “carry on…” as usual.

Drummer, Chris Adler, talks further about his departure from “Lamb of God”.
A country A Capella group. There was a short lived TV show called “The Sing-Off”. All A Capella groups, aka no instruments. Groups from 2 to 10 people. I tried, oh so long ago, in high school to form a barbershop quartet. I struggled terribly with & we called it off after 1 rehearsal of 45 minutes accomplishing a 4 bar song. Everybody singing different parts makes it tough, at least in a 4 part choir you’ve got a section of people for each part & not just one person on each part.

Pentatonix won a season on “The Sing-Off”, Home Free won a different season. Home Free is more country on the 2 albums I have. I hear they change it up live though. Please remember that when you hear a bass noise, that’s one guy, he’s impressive! I’d be watching “The Sing-Off” if it was still on.

Talented group, just too much country for me!

If you’re getting this through Facebook, give it a like or other reaction, or share it. That’s the only way of promoting this site, since I’m not profiting from this in any way.

I fell asleep to ½ of each “Better than Ezra” albums “Deluxe” and “Friction Baby” then I switched to “Barstool Prophets” the album “Crank” & fell asleep finally.

I exercised to “Chevelle” 8 albums on shuffle.

I was very tired today. I got through my exercises, got to the start of my push ups & just didn’t have any gas left in the tank. Somewhat disappointing.

This is for anyone & everyone who might find this interesting! Please help me out if you don’t mind? I’ve been sharing this publically on my page, I don’t think it’s helping? Please do what you can to spread the word?

Sunday night we watched a documentary. A trial of a 47 year old white male who shot at a vehicle, parked at a gas station, deep in the suburbs, with four, unarmed, 17 year olds because he didn’t like their loud rap music. How ridiculous is that? As we were watching the show, I had a thought.

Forget the entire race issue, it was never spoken about during the trial, but it was the elephant in the room. Why does anyone need a gun with them 24/7? Because they’re either a bully or a coward, that’s all. Sure you can argue that it’s a right for American citizens. They already have a lightweight gun control law. It’s not working! We all want to just tighten up the law, not take the guns away. If you’re American & your neighbour doesn’t own a gun, why do you?………..right, because you’re living in fear! Great way to go about your life, constantly looking over shoulder? Is that what American freedom is? If so, that’s pretty sad.

Canada isn’t perfect, but I don’t own a gun & I never have. I know of other people who own guns…………for hunting. Am I afraid of them? NO!

Unless you’re in law enforcement or any branch of the military, why do you need a gun? If you use it for hunting only, that’s fine with me, I eat meat, I prefer to buy it from a grocery store or butcher! If you choose to hunt or fish for your meal, that’s fine by me. My dad went out hunting when I was younger. My grandfather did as well & had a gun rack in the basement I believe. I’ve fired a gun at summer camp, guess what? Nobody died or was shot while I was there.

What’s this God given right about carrying a loaded weapon with you 24/7? Here’s the hint America, yes, it’s a right, but it’s not needed! It’s all about responsibility. If I go into a public venue & see a civilian with a firearm. I’m leaving, it’s not needed in any way, shape, or form.

I’m sure some American gun owners would say ‘Well the kids at Sandy Hook Elementary would have been fine if they each had a gun’. NO NRA, NO!

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Wreck shared it…..

I adore the first 3 Radiohead albums! This is from the first album & this guy nails it.

That’s flat out discrimination against LGBT! Even the fact that people, REAL PEOPLE must have this label attached to them isn’t right. You don’t have to be a member to support the LGBT community!

Article with Paul McCartney

Alter Bridge shared it. It’s a description of how the song came together.

Opeth studio update no. 4 Bass recordings

I like “Home Free” but I don’t really care for country music, some of it’s OK to me though!

Holidays are close. Here’s “Home Free” with a Christmas tune. A Capella country music group. I think they won “The Sing Off” the following season after “Pentatonix”? Could be the year before?

I really like this “Finger Eleven” song. It’s a single so they shared it on facebook.

10 best Stone Temple Pilots songs. That’s a pretty solid list they could easily make it a top 15 or 20 list!

25 most influential grunge albums. I haven’t read it yet, I’m quite confident Nirvana’s “Nevermind will be number 1.

Scott Weiland’s last interview

Thom Yorke of “Radiohead” releases new music.

Not too bad but it sounds nothing like the first 3 albums or the 2nd & 3rd albums which I think are INCREDIBLE!

FANTASTIC!!! Eagles of Death Metal set to return to Paris with U2

For me, Ed Sheeran is just awesome! Here’s a live medley of original & cover tunes…

13 rock & metal signature moves!!! Gene Simmons of KISS will be ticked off when he sees this video. He’ll say “I invented all of those moves, they should pay me royalties for all of that!”

Drummer of Guns n’ Roses then Velvet Revolver speaks about former band member Scott Weiland. Radio interview inside the link. Scott Weiland will be missed, despite his collection of great music left with us/his fans. He’s close to being a house hold name for my generation! You may not like him but you probably know who he is/was. I will always prefer his material with Stone Temple Pilots. Nobody will come close to what Kurt Cobain did as creating a new genres of music. Scott Weiland was definitely near the top of that genres!

Our weekend was great. Jolene had a surprise birthday party. All cooked up by Corey & Kim. Kim took Jolene out for a late lunch & a pedicure. I stayed with Corey & Hannah. Corey was rushing around to get everything ready, Hannah was napping when we got there. Corey & I helped her make a birthday card for her mommy when she got up. Then people began to show up for the party around 3:00 pm. Kim & Jolene arrived just before 4:00 pm I think? In the end, everybody surprised Jolene. She didn’t have any idea her house would be full of good friends.

Songs I like, “Weezer” I have one album. This is a group that I should see if there is a greatest hits album or just make my own?

Do yourself a favour & get the “Jekyll + Hyde” album by Zac Brown Band! I’m not much of a country music fan, but most of this album is all over the place.

I’d quietly ask the flight attendant if my child has a bomb, if the response is “No” I’d ask what the BABY is doing wrong. “You don’t like it, you show me how to do it then. I’ll gladly accept my refund when you take back to where the oh so dangerous child & I boarded the plane”.

Part 8 of Barenaked Ladies recording the upcoming album “Silverball”, to be released on June 2nd.

New Muse song, this WILL be a really good album I think!

Classic rock’s tracks of the week

http://www.loudwire.com top 10 Rage Against The Machine songs ,WARNING!! LANGUAGE!!! This is the first top however many songs with that is quite accurate for me. Tough one that I wouldn’t be able to narrow down to 10 but maybe 20?

Top 10 Foo Fighters’ songs? Some yes, some no. When a certain group is your favourite group a top 10 is difficult & either way people a going to have a totally different view. Could I do a top 3 albums by Foo Fighters? Even that would be difficult for me!
http://loudwire.com/best-foo-fighters-songs/?fb002 My favourites are original B-Sides.

2016 Eligible “Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame” inductees.
