NOPE!  YOU CAN’T PLAY NICE WITH YOUR PHONE / NO BLOG TOMORROW

If you like it, please share & subscribe?  If you don’t please give me feedback as to what would improve it for you?  I can’t please everyone but I can try.

Nice!  This site had 6 viewings by people from 3 Canada, 2 people in England, & 1 person in the Ukraine.  Please keep sharing people!  We only hit 71 on Facebook.  I can’t tell who is reading this but thank you.  As for who I see reading it on the website, all I see is the country & how many people from that country have viewed it.  If you’ve subscribed with your email I can see that as well.

No blog post tomorrow & today is a very busy day, however I am sticking with my exercise.  As of my exercise this morning I’m at 800 crunches, 80 pushups, & 50 leg lifts.  By the end of the week it will be a total of 1000 crunches, 100 pushups, & the leg lifts can stay where they are, I felt some pain so I’ve decided to let them be for now.

I fell asleep to “The Philosopher Kings” the album “Famous, Rich, & Beautiful” I got up to tinkle & listened to “Muse” the album “Black Holes & Revelations” as I fell asleep

I didn’t even think to turn on the “stereo” when I exercised.  Busy day today, not much time for the computron today.

Don’t feel as though you have to open every link.

I was watching the news a few nights ago & came to a solution regarding cell phones being used as weapons in terrorist attacks!  Get rid of them!  How did most people fly without a phone until everybody & their dog got one?  Wait………….next to nobody had a phone, laptop or tablet.

Remember before all of these gadgets were around?  What happened when one person didn’t share or play nice with a toy?  No one got to play with it.  Easy, out of sight, out of mind.  No more laptops, tablets, cell phones or any electronic devices allowed on the plane.  You forgot it was in your pocket?  Not my problem, it goes in this garbage bag now or you go back to where you came from with it……………………………….HAVE A NICE DAY!

Of course I hate the entire idea of cell phones which I’m sure is a common pet peeve many people would like to change.  If you’re going to a public venue, restaurant, theater, concert, loud bar, airplane, etc.  Whatever it may be, please show some common courtesy…..they annoy me to no end, I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.  If you’re at a certain venue doing or enjoying a certain activity, why isn’t the person you’re chatting with, come & join you?  Other than that or an emergency, what do you need your phone for?

Someone should invent a harness to go around your chest like a tube top & have a cell phone holder attached to the front that extends 2 ½ feet from your chest.  Then your phone would always be available!

From a random www.google.com search

“According to data compiled by New York-based app Locket, the average user checks their phone around nine times an hour at peak times. On average, users unlock their phone 110 times a day and a quarter of people actively use their handsets during the hours of 3am and 5am”

I found one with a lesser count but it was from 2015?

Me:  “Who are you talking to?”

Phone User:  “Ronda”

Me: “I don’t know Ronda?”

PU: “She needs help with a recipe”

Me: “Ask Ronda to wait?  Neither of us invited her & the recipe won’t go anywhere, unless she moves it.”

Call it rude but it’s no ruder to me than someone spending their time & attention on someone not with us or is not the subject of anything to do with our conversation.

In the end, there is no book on how to use a mobile devices, so use it as you like.  Please don’t forget that in a public setting your use of a phone can affect other peoples’ experience.

Tool is on tour…………again, which means no in studio work for Tool at the moment or any work for Maynard in the studio with A Perfect Circle.  All I know is that Tool has one song done for sure!

From Thurston Moore.  From a grunge band that didn’t become a house hold name “Sonic Youth”

Here’s The Warped Tour lineup for 2017.  This has more metal type acts than I would expect on a punk festival lineup!?

http://loudwire.com/warped-tour-announces-2017-full-band-lineup/

Not necessarily bands I’d like to see though.

I wish Regina offered the FX channel on cable.  I’d watch the TV series “Fargo” if I had the chance.  I loved the movie!

Are you easily offended?  If so, DO NOT WATCH Dave Chappelle’s standup comedy special on Netflix!  HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, those poor children.  Even I can’t tolerate Rammstein!

I’m sure I’ll get sick of this song soon enough.

Songs I just wanted to play, & a few more when I filled in for a friend.  Pretty much anything guitar & vocal wise I could do other than solos.

WEEKEND UPDATE

Friday evening we sat on our butts & watched disc 2 of season 6 of “Boy Meets World”

I got all 7 seasons on DVD for Christmas, it’s kind of a high school crush thing for me. Kim got mad at me recently. She came home from work I told her I had watched episodes that day. Now I know not to do that. Saturday, Kim had a hair appointment. Brewster & I spent the day at my parents place. Dad & I watched the first 2 “Hobbit” movies on his HD projector in the basement on his 84” screen. “Hobbit” movies, popcorn & coke, good times! Kim came over to my parents so the 4 of us could have some tasty tourtier for supper.

Sunday I plan to avoid the Super Bowl at all costs. I don’t watch NFL football at all, too long for me. Canadian Football League aka CFL is my football. I watch the CFL & MLB baseball. Both are scheduled as 3 hour games, NFL is scheduled for 4 hours a game + all of the hype before & after the game. Too much for me. Even if a CFL game goes into overtime it feels too long for me. Toronto Blue Jays baseball, I can watch forever. Last season I watched an entire 19 inning game, a regular game is 9 innings. There’s no such thing as a tie game in baseball, they just play until someone wins. I very rarely watch the NHL. Yeah, a Canadian who doesn’t watch hockey, that’s me. I check out the standings once in a while. I cheer for the Montreal Canadians, the Edmonton Oilers and anyone playing against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Even people in Toronto are disappointed with their hockey team & the attendance is dropping steadily from what I hear on “Prime Time Sports with Bob McCowen”.

“Chevelle” are in the studio!!!!

Metallica’s The Night Before The Super Bowl concert

Just watched Saturday Night Live. The musical guest was “The 1975” instantly reminded me of “INXS” who I really like so I pre-ordered their 2nd release on iTunes.

Then I figured since I’m on iTunes I might as well grab “The Northern Pikes” album “Snow in June”

Top 10 songs heard at sporting events. They won’t have the 3 songs you always hear at the home town Saskatchewan Roughriders games

http://loudwire.com/top-10-songs-heard-at-sporting-events/

If the Riders are about to win by a large margin you’ll fear this song. Haven’t heard this song at the stadium the last few years. The Saskatchewan Roughriders are terrible lately, & that’s an overstatement!

However you’re getting this, please pass it along?
