Do you have a question about stage 4 brain cancer?  Ask if you do!

4 day exercise total; 600 leg lifts, 600 crunches, 200 squats, 200 back flexes, 120 pushups, 600 curls (10 pounds on left arm & 7 pounds on right arm), 600 tricep extensions w/5 pound weight, 400 shoulder raises w/5 pound weight,  stretching, & yoga.

I fell asleep to “Lamb of God” the album “Ashes of the Wake”

I exercised to “Big Wreck” the album “…but the sun”, followed by some of “Queens of the Stone Age” the album “Villains”

I had to cut back the back flexes to 300 over a 5 day week, easily the toughest part of my exercise.  I’ve also brought the number of squats down, quality over quantity.  I’m expecting to be at a minimum of 300 in a 5 day week.  Everything else will stay as it is, another sweaty week but feeling good & confident.

So as I was finishing my exercise on Tuesday doing the downward dog yoga pose, I fell getting back to the ground I rammed my face into the ground, off of the mat & on the laminate floor.  Sure it hurt for a bit, I checked my nose & teeth.  My nose wasn’t bleeding & my teeth were all there & not chipped, I was fine, sweaty but fine.

Now that I’m stronger & more confident, I want to do more.  My mind races at night thinking of small things I can do to help around here & elsewhere.  Kim’s been taking are of the house me & Brewster for over 12 years.  I want to step up & do my part here so she doesn’t become overwhelmed.  She comes home from work 5 days a week & makes a REALLY FANTASTIC meal & I clean up after supper.             Other than that, I fold & put away my laundry, vacuum on occasion & sometimes wet Swiffer the floor.  I feel now as though I can do more since I’m here all week.

I can’t afford the moon or anything extravagant.  I can help in smaller ways now.  I’m starting with my grandparents.  They don’t drink water.  So I’ve filled 2X1liter bottle of water flavoured with Mio flavouring so that it tastes more like a juice than plain water.  Something little I can do to help out.  I get excited about stuff like this.  It’s nice to look forward to something other than exercise every day.

I’m getting stronger now, I can tell!  I’m still in a wheelchair, iPatch still, & no driving since Tuesday, February 5th, 2008.  Just physically stronger.  Not only am I able to help out around the house more, but now my mid-life crisis present to myself is back but, if it happens it will likely be a 2/3 life crisis at least.  It was a car & now it’s a PRS guitar.

A bunch of cool stuff none of which I have & it’s pretty!  Mid-life crisis?  13/16 life crisis or pipe dream!

Well forget that!  Brewster went to the vet after Kim was done work Wednesday & the news wasn’t great!  His heart murmur is between a 5 & 6.  6 is the worst, which means a strong possibility of heart enlargement, heart attack &/or fluid in his lungs.  Now I’m EXTREMELY worried.  Tests & definitely medication, just a matter of how much medication?

Kim is home sick today, she’ll likely be spending the day in bed today.  I got up a bit after 6:00 am, got to my exercises while Kim showered & tried to go to work.  She showered and did her hair but never made it out of the bedroom.  I don’t like contract work much.  She’s not there, she doesn’t get paid.  Oh well, not my job & not really my business.

I didn’t even know about this movie on Netflix?  I’ll have to watch it sometime soon!  Here’s the trailer & a review.

New TOOL article/interview as of September 1st!  Long but GREAT album!  Worth the 13 year wait.

Every TOOL fan has seen this lately, I saw it late last week.  Very well done mashup of Taylor Swift & an older TOOL song!

BIG THANKS to Mitch & George Fraser for getting my VERY old electric guitar gear working!!!!!!!  Another thing to look forward to everyday!

I’ve often thought about listening to “Gojira” since I do like “Sepultura”, but something stops me from being a fan every time?

Nobody should like “System of a Down”.  Many of my friends & I think they’re GREAT!   Maybe because there’s nothing that sounds like their music, at least in North America or that I know of?  Here’s a story about their second album out of a total of 5 mass releases.  They’re quite popular.

I don’t think any rock/metal/other band is about to change mainstream music.  It will be a force of many bands & artists to make a significant change.   I couldn’t care less about album sales, as long as I get to hear what I like!

Under rated albums of the 1990s.

More progressive rock/metal but they tend to go quiet & mellow to the heavier side of things throughout a song.  I haven’t done an “Opeth” music guide yet, but they would be “Opeth” lite followed by “Tool” who would be “Earthside” lite.  All 3 of these bands are progressive & they are all capable of doing light atmospheric music on their albums as well as rock & metal, much like “Dream Theater” as well.

When I say “progressive” in reference to these current metal/rock bands, I mean that the songs are often in rare time signatures.  Not always a song you can tap your foot to.  Most radio friendly songs are in a basic 4/4 time.  There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s simple & to the point.  That gets boring for me after a while & other bands will change time signatures 2-6 times in one song.  Then that can become boring & I’ll go back to the 4/4 stuff.  I always listen to the drums in a song.  It’s the rhythm that I listen to the most in a song.

I have one album by “Earthside” so here’s a sampling of it.

If you’re getting this through Facebook, give it a like or other reaction, or share it.  That’s the only way of promoting this site, since I’m not profiting from this in any way.

I fell asleep to “Halestorm” the album “Into the Wild Life”

I exercised to “Earthside” the album “A Dream I Static”

600 pushups, 500 leg lifts, & 225 triceps pushups!  I’m not sure what I’ll do for exercise over the holidays?  I don’t want to lose any momentum but I also need a break.  January 2nd everything goes back to normal.  Both types of pushups 45 & 120, 100 crunches, 100 leg lifts, & 40 back flexes 5 days a week.  I need to do some cardio also, we’ll see how that works out.

Got up Wednesday, felt instantly sick to my stomach.  Did my exercises, checked my Facebook & email, had breakfast.  About ½ an hour later I threw up my breakfast.  Returned to the couch until I went to bed at 10:00 pm.  Thursday I slept in until 11:00 am & felt fine.  Did my exercises, had breakfast & got out of the shower a few minutes after 2:00 pm.

Playing baseball was my 2nd hobby but I won’t bore you with that stuff.  I played from the age of 4 until the end of the season when I was 17.  I guess I was playing baseball before I started doing anything else regularly.

When I was in grade 7 my baseball coach was thrown out of the game twice in Little League.  It was LITTLE LEAGUE!  So not worth it!  Our practices were at a high school, before & after each practice we’d all jog around the property twice.  I still had some baby fat on me until that baseball season.  When I say property, it doesn’t mean just the building, but the entire property.  Football field, baseball diamond, parking lot, EVERYTHING!

Star Wars: Episode VIII, The Last Jedi is now in theaters.  I’m going to the theater, but I’ll wait about a month.  It’s projected to make $425,000,000 this weekend.  I’m waiting until everyone has seen it 10 times, then I’ll go.

New “Walk off the Earth” video!

Wow, after all of that, I still don’t like Roy Moore!

When I hear a new Tool album I’ll believe it.  They do have many festivals coming up on their schedule though.

Drummer, Danny Carey, said the same thing at the end of 2016 about a new album in 2017.

Maynard James Keenan will be pulling double duty singing for A Perfect Circle & Tool at the same festival.

Too far away for me with no passport.  I’m not that interested in seeing Jerry Cantrell & friends anyway.

After the death of singer, Layne Staley, I sort of tuned out.

No Canadian dates for this tour

Deceased singer.

New singer.

What’s a millennial, sweeping stereotype for anyone born after 1984?  My brother is NOT a millennial.  My extended family are not millennials.  Everyone was raised by good parents, & we’re taught to work for their goals.

Don’t forget!!!!  Foo Fighters are the musical guests on Saturday Night Live!!  Set your DVR, PVR, VCR, Microwave, Oven, BETA MAX, alarm clock, cell phone, BBQ, etc.  Don’t miss it!!!!

We’ve been through this 4 times last year.  Give him 3 weeks to a month & he’ll have a blister again.

C.C. Sabathia as a Blue Jay?  No!  What happened to younger?  He’s left handed, but past his prime to be in the MLB.  I’d give him 2 years at $15M a year.

The more you share this, the more readers I get.  No, I’m not profiting from this in any way.  I can’t tell who’s reading this but thank you!
