Do you have a question about stage 4 brain cancer?  Ask if you do!

5 day exercise total; 200 pushups, 600 leg lifts, 450 crunches, 100 tricep lifts, 450  squats, 300 back flexes.  Yoga & stretching for just over an hour on Thursday.

I fell asleep to “Iommi” the album “Iommi”

I exercised to “Daron Malakian & the Scars on Broadway” the album “Dictator”

I look at this cancer garbage two ways.  I could sit here, do nothing & complain about having to fix myself or just do my exercises & shut up about it.  I choose the latter.  I can complain about very few other things.  Not the little things I blow out of proportion.  I’m pretty sure I just need to calm down & not try to change anyone.  I could offer a suggestion if they asked.  Other than that I should just email or message people on Facebook to see how they’re doing & reply politely to any question.

I need to stop telling people what to do, & let them live their own life as they choose to.  As I always say “The more I shut my yap & listen, the more I’ll know.”  On the other side of that, don’t ignore people either.  I have just over 300 Facebook friends, yet I talk to mostly the people I see most often through email.  I’m not saying they’re not great people, I’m just saying I don’t reach out to them as much as I should.

Is Tool’s guitarist teasing us with a new song?  Possibly, I’m guessing?

Too funny to not share!  For the majority.

Why?  Doesn’t the church believe in not using any type of medically proven anti-biotics?

Tool has joined streaming sites.  I don’t know if their older stuff is on there, but they have a profile on streaming sites, at least Spotify.  I’m not sure about other streaming sites?

Well this isn’t pleasant news for anyone, especially Star Wars fans!

53 is a very young age to die.

Hozier covered Destiny’s Child?

Saw “Avengers: Endgame” last night with my brother.  I’ve always leaned towards the DC comic movies with a dark tone, but I do like both.  It was AWESOME!  Lots of action, really good dialogue including humor.

My brother-in-law turned me on to this group.  He heard a single on Much Music’s show “LOUD”, a metal video show that was hanging on by a thread as Much Music began airing more teen television programing.  The singer/guitar player & group founder is about my brother’s age, in his early 30s.  They’ve released 8 studio albums, they’re a very talented band but not every album is a Jem.

In order of release “Ember to Inferno”, “Ascendancy”, “The Crusade”, “Shogun”, “In Waves”, “Vengeance Falls”, “Silence in the Snow”, & “The Sin & the Sentence”.  I’ll give you 2 songs from each of my 4 favourite albums.

2011   IN WAVES

You probably don’t care for metal & that’s OK.  I’ve been trying to avoid it on here, but that’s what I listen to most of the time when Kim’s not here.  As for “Trivium” you may not like them but between singing & playing guitar, Matt Heafy makes the impossible look easy, much like James Hetfield of “Metallica”.

The more you share this, the more readers I get.  No, I’m not profiting from this in any way.  I can’t tell who’s reading this but thank you!

Why did this become a music blog?  “Because music is a BIG @#!$%^*&( DEAL”-Dave Grohl

“I feel good about the good things, & bad about the bad things”-Dave Grohl

“Learn from your mistakes & don’t repeat them”-Chris

I fell asleep to”Foo Fighters” the rock album from their double album “In Your Honor”. This album used to be more miss than hit for me. I like the acoustic album more. I haven’t listened to the rock album since 2006? I woke up briefly in the night and listened to “Tom Petty’s Greatest Hits”

I exercised to “Noel Gallgher’s High Flying Birds” the album “Chasing Yesterday” first, the “Opeth” the album “Blackwater Park”

Yep, we watched “Spotlight” Tuesday night. Finally a movie that deserved the Oscar for movie of the year. Awesome show, well worth checking it out!

March 25th 2016. Presale tickets are already available for “Batman vs. Superman”

I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my wonderful wife comes home yesterday after stopping for a few things we needed, & shows me a pint of my favourite “Ben & Jerry’s” ice cream. I told her “Thank you, but I don’t need any tonight” into the freezer it goes. We sit down to watch “Spotlight” & she gets the ice cream out. No problem, I don’t need an entire pint of ice cream. Later on I as her “Did you put the ice cream back in the freezer?”. Then I get that evil smile & she shakes her head “no”. “Is it milk now? Can you drink it? DID YOU EAT IT ALL?” I get that evil grin again & she replies “Maybe?”. Goodbye ice cream, Kimmy gave you a good home. If the potato chips & dip that she also bought for herself weren’t unhealthy, they’d be open & gone before she got home today!

I just emailed Kim at work, I’m out of “Pills, pills, pills” tomorrow night, I need some refills, so I sent this to her in the email.

Facebook has all of these new emojis, great I want one more where you hear it say “Damn Daniel”, that would be awesome!

Look at that a www.loudwire.com cage match I almost voted on if it meant something “Iron Maiden” vs. “Dream Theater”

A teaser for the upcoming release by Tremonti

The “Devil You Know” (WHO) announce 2016 tour

I’ll take the “Econoline Crush” album from the ’90s titled “The Devil You Know” instead.

Donald “Drumpf” by John Oliver!

More Foo Fighters speculation as to what the announcement will be?

I bought an album on iTunes at home during my 4.5 years battling cancer, we started staying home at night in late 2011 since living in a hospital or Rehabilitation hospital from 2008 on. I didn’t preview it, since I like the band “The Agonist”. Jokes on me, the album was called “Agonist” by a group called “Latitudes” still metal but it wasn’t “THE Agonist”

Was it just me or did anybody else catch this? The character from “Breaking Bad” & “Better Call Saul” is named Saul Goodman. Say it in one word…………….”Saulgoodman” so it sounds just like “It’s all good man”

However you’re getting this, please pass it along?

Today’s workout was brought to you by the letter “I” as in Iron Maiden’s “The Book of Souls” album

Yes, this “Learn to Fly”

The background as to why this song was written, 2 reasons that I know of. Dave Grohl wanted to try to write a well known/catchy pop song. He was also was terrified of flying at the time & was taking flying lessons. This album was released on October 26th 1999. Long time ago, this album also solidified Foo Fighters as my favourite band. My Grandmother passed away from breast cancer on December 5th 1999. I would drive 45 minutes away to Moose Jaw, turn around & come back to Regina just to occupy my time when I was supposed to be at University. I would blast this album everyday in my car.

This was written for a ‘Godzilla’ remake released in 1998. My brother has/had the CD. Notice the lyrics “…I’m afraid of aeroplanes….”

I’m assuming this was written before the ’99 release of ‘Learn to Fly’ off of “There is Nothing Left to Lose” an album made in a week, in Virginia, in Dave Grohl’s basement, in a studio Dave, Taylor & Nate built by sound proofing it with egg cartons & a friend acting as the producer. Oh, & it won 2/3 Grammy Awards.

The Pope’s arrival in the USA is why we missed the first 28 minutes of “The Ellen Degeneres Show” on Tuesday. I record it at 2:00pm for Kim & I to watch later on. Just sayin’! JK!

Chris Cornell covers Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” made famous by Sinead O’Connor

Did anyone catch “The Muppets” last night on ABC? Kim & I both thought it was pretty good, we had a good chuckle!

I would be at this show if it was near Saskatchewan! Tremonti & Trivium oh, yeah. Review of a show

Article on Mark Tremonti.

Foo Fighters with Jane’s Addiction & Jack Black on stage LANGUAGE!!!

You can buy the new Ian Fletcher Thornley single this Friday on iTunes!!!!!

Somebody should ask this guy “Who are The Simpsons?” I gave up the Simpsons in 1999 or 2000? It got old. The series began when I was in grade 6.

Destiny’s Child manager hopeful of a reunion

Royal Blood on the James Corden show. Seeing Royal Blood was a bonus opening for Foo Fighters!

Songs I like, “Rainbow Butt Monkeys” one album. Finger Eleven before they got a new drummer & changed their name. “Finger Eleven” was my brother’s favourite band. We both saw the video for “Circles” at the same time & we both liked it, him a bit more than me. We both bought the CD shortly after seeing the video.
