Today’s workout was brought to by the letter “L”, as in Lamb of God’s album “VII: Strum Und Drang”

I actually don’t have enough hours to complete everything I want to get done between exercising, having a healthy breakfast, lunch, taking care/playing with Brewster & writing these blogs, I don’t hit the couch until about 4:00pm. I’m not saying that being a parent isn’t easy, that’s a full time job, 24/7 until your kid grows up & leaves the nest. Even my parents have had to pretty much raise me again & I’m 35? I’m up when Kim leaves for whatever job she’s working at that day, so I’m up doing stuff before the clock says it’s 8:00am or 7:00am. I try to get stuff done ASAP. I’m always the last one in bed also. I’m in here looking for stuff I should put on this blog. I’m not complaining, but some people say to me “Oh Chris, I wish my life was as easy as your’s”. I don’t sit around here doing nothing all day.

I’m in a wheelchair, so I have to do some things differently than others. No big deal, it just takes me longer, but it gets faster the more I do the same task.

Thom Yorke (Radiohead singer) is working on music for Broadway.

I loved Radiohead’s first 3 albums, each 1 more than the previous release. Their 3rd album ‘OK Computer’ was a FANTASTIC album when it was released in the summer of 1997. Rolling Stone magazine took a readers poll, ‘OK Computer’ was voted as “The Best Album of All Time” just ahead of The Beatles ‘Revolver’. That doesn’t mean much to me, that means to me that 1 or more people liked it more than The Beatles album. Here’s a single from ‘OK Computer’………..

Hear a bit of Ian Fletcher Thornley’s solo project!!!!!

I agree the new “Lamb of God” album is their best album since 2004’s “Ashes of the Wake”

It boggles my mind why ‘Finger Eleven’s’ drummer would leave to join this group.

Not for me, but here you go.

Stories behind album covers

The Who postpone the end of their 50th anniversary tour.

Why does Ontario see the same tour as Saskatchewan fans for $23.00 plus tax & handling fees, while the show in Saskatchewan is $45.00 plus tax & handling fees to see a band in a bar? I need to move.

This blog is how I learn about new music. I’ve never heard of “Father John Misty” but it sounds good LANGUAGE!!!!!!

I guess it’s ^^ his 2nd album according to iTunes? No, it’s not rock or metal, I’ll have to check it out later.

Wesley Snipes chats with Jimmy Fallon about Micheal Jackson.

Stream the new album by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd

Halestorm live….

Who wouldn’t love a beer from Luke Skywalker?

Today’s (Friday’s) Rock It Out Blog  LANGUAGE!!!

I don’t want a “dislike” button on Facebook. If you don’t like something why bother to post anything negative? It just doesn’t make sense to me. Sure I can be negative about whatever, I try to just talk on here about stuff I enjoy or that I know other people enjoy!

Songs I like, “Queen” Greatest Hits

Riders lost……………….again. 0W-8L. I didn’t see any poorly played football, but that sure isn’t what the fans want to see as an outcome, not why I have season tickets? The Toronto Blue Jays on the other hand scored 36 runs over 3 days in Anaheim 9-3 Friday, 15-3 Saturday, & 12-5 on Sunday! They scored more points than the Saskatchewan Roughriders over the weekend??? I was certainly happy with the Blue Jays out come! CFL, I’ve lost “…..that loving feeling…” to watch EVERY game this year like I usually do. I only watch Rider games & can tell there’s a greater chance of them losing the game.  Yes, I “coach” the Saskatchewan Roughriders & the Toronto Blue Jays from my couch or in Mosaic Stadium.  Neither team listens to me, kind of like my wife?

It was going to take you back their anyways. I hear there’s a sequel coming!

That weekend seemed to fly by for me, I don’t know why? I didn’t do much, didn’t even go to the football game. It was windy & raining all day, cleared up by game time but we had already made our decision to not go.

Alanis Morissette discusses her problems with food binging, purging, starving, etc. Also announces a 4 CD 20th anniversary collector’s edition of “Jagged Little Pill”

Iron Maiden dedicate new song to Robin Williams. Album release on iTunes September 4th.

…And “Full House” is on Netflix.

John Oliver on LGBT discrimination. Race, religion, sexuality, etc. Wake up world! Does any of this matter, it’s 2015. Look at how far we’ve advanced as a society! A half inch forward! But everyone in the USA has the right to own a firearm & shoot someone when they feel threatened? If Hillary Clinton was black & gay, she wouldn’t even be a political figure!

David Gilmour covers The Beatles “Here, There, & Everywhere”

I just really like Pentatonix. They make it look easy!

You can’t get these on their albums. From what I know they’re working on their 4th studio album, the future album is to be original music. They also have 2 Christmas albums out at the moment.

All I can say is it’s better than the material on their 1st album, I guess? Sound Cloud inside the link.

Rock It Out Blog from Monday/today

Songs I like, “One Bad Son” If you like Guns n’ Roses there’s a good chance you’ll like these guys.

I was never a big fan of Guns n’ Roses. Can’t say I listen to this very often, maybe once a year?
