Do you have a question about stage 4 brain cancer? Ask if you do!
5 day exercise total; 200 pushups, 600 leg lifts, 450 crunches, 100 tricep lifts, 450 squats, 300 back flexes. Yoga & stretching for just over an hour on Thursday.
I fell asleep to “Iommi” the album “Iommi”
I exercised to “Daron Malakian & the Scars on Broadway” the album “Dictator”
I look at this cancer garbage two ways. I could sit here, do nothing & complain about having to fix myself or just do my exercises & shut up about it. I choose the latter. I can complain about very few other things. Not the little things I blow out of proportion. I’m pretty sure I just need to calm down & not try to change anyone. I could offer a suggestion if they asked. Other than that I should just email or message people on Facebook to see how they’re doing & reply politely to any question.
I need to stop telling people what to do, & let them live their own life as they choose to. As I always say “The more I shut my yap & listen, the more I’ll know.” On the other side of that, don’t ignore people either. I have just over 300 Facebook friends, yet I talk to mostly the people I see most often through email. I’m not saying they’re not great people, I’m just saying I don’t reach out to them as much as I should.
Is Tool’s guitarist teasing us with a new song? Possibly, I’m guessing?
Too funny to not share! For the majority.
Why? Doesn’t the church believe in not using any type of medically proven anti-biotics?
Tool has joined streaming sites. I don’t know if their older stuff is on there, but they have a profile on streaming sites, at least Spotify. I’m not sure about other streaming sites?
Well this isn’t pleasant news for anyone, especially Star Wars fans!
53 is a very young age to die.
Hozier covered Destiny’s Child?
Saw “Avengers: Endgame” last night with my brother. I’ve always leaned towards the DC comic movies with a dark tone, but I do like both. It was AWESOME! Lots of action, really good dialogue including humor.
TRIVIUM
My brother-in-law turned me on to this group. He heard a single on Much Music’s show “LOUD”, a metal video show that was hanging on by a thread as Much Music began airing more teen television programing. The singer/guitar player & group founder is about my brother’s age, in his early 30s. They’ve released 8 studio albums, they’re a very talented band but not every album is a Jem.
In order of release “Ember to Inferno”, “Ascendancy”, “The Crusade”, “Shogun”, “In Waves”, “Vengeance Falls”, “Silence in the Snow”, & “The Sin & the Sentence”. I’ll give you 2 songs from each of my 4 favourite albums.
2006 ASCENDANCY
2011 IN WAVES
2015 SILENCE IN THE SNOW
2017 THE SIN & THE SENTENCE
You probably don’t care for metal & that’s OK. I’ve been trying to avoid it on here, but that’s what I listen to most of the time when Kim’s not here. As for “Trivium” you may not like them but between singing & playing guitar, Matt Heafy makes the impossible look easy, much like James Hetfield of “Metallica”.
The more you share this, the more readers I get. No, I’m not profiting from this in any way. I can’t tell who’s reading this but thank you!
Why did this become a music blog? “Because music is a BIG @#!$%^*&( DEAL”-Dave Grohl
“I feel good about the good things, & bad about the bad things”-Dave Grohl
“Learn from your mistakes & don’t repeat them”-Chris
