This coronavirus is getting out of hand.  All it is, in my opinion only, is a seemingly more contagious flu virus without a vaccine yet.  “Wash your hands for 20 seconds” they say, that’s fine & great advice.  Aren’t we told to do the same thing during every flu season?  Doesn’t everyone wash their hands multiple times a day anyways?  “It’s only contagious if you’re within a 6 foot distance of a person with the virus”.  How much closer are you with someone who’s sick anyways?  “A is only effective to not spread the virus”.  OK that one is new to me, the other stuff the experts say is the same thing you’ll hear every flu season.  The plague….uh….coronavirus is more contagious & a little more deadly than the flu.  The regular flu can kill you too, just a lower death percentage.  Be cautious, be informed (more than what you read here, I’m not a doctor), & stay healthy.

Managed to get ½ of a weight workout in on Thursday.  A realtor & clients came to look at the place about mid-day.  We had to make ourselves “…disappear” for a bit.  Stayed up late Wednesday cleaning & organizing.  Makes grow fonder of this place when we do that, but then I don’t sleep well the night before a viewing, my brain races “Did we do this, did we clean that, did we arrange this, did we organize this, etc.”  Don’t expect to hear feedback until later on Monday at the latest if any at all?

I much prefer waking up before 7:00 am & exercising ASAP after a small breakfast.  I truly missed it when I was sitting around for a week doing nothing.  The old saying is true, “You get as much in return, as to what you put in.”  This can apply to a few different things.  Just being in a wheelchair.  Sure I’ve been in a wheelchair for about 12 years now.  I still meet different obstacles I’ve never encountered before.  I look at it as a way to learn, sure I’ll get frustrated if something doesn’t go as planned.  All it really means is that I’ll have to look at the situation from a different perspective next time.  I see those situations as learning experiences now.  It may seem odd to others but if it works for me without affecting others, then who really cares?

Example, I play guitar in a wheelchair.  Right there it’s odd, not something you see or think about.  In order to do that I have to move my arm rests out of the way by either taking them off completely or lifting them out of the locking position & swing them around to cross behind my wheelchair.  I can’t just pick up a guitar and play it normally.  I have to get my wheelchair arm rests out of the way first.  When I figured that out it made things much easier.

Navigating through everyday life is a learning experience for me, not a challenge, as a physically disabled person.  Most tasks require a little more effort & thought than they used to.

Our #1 priority right now is Brewster’s medication, appetite, & general health.  He’s fine but just getting older & requires a little more attention.  We don’t have a human child, so he’s our little boy (12 pound Bichon/Shi-tzu).  He’s a little over 14 human years old now & on some expensive heart medication for his heart murmur.  Whatever he needs he gets.  Kim & I have always & will always try to make him feel safe, worry free, and pain free.  He sleeps in our bed at night, then one of his two beds or on the floor “wherever I may roam” in the suite.

The second priority is a trip for Kim that I’ll tag along with for the ride.  I personally don’t care if I leave Canada or even the Canadian prairies for that matter but I understand why many others would.  In the end, I just want to be with Kim when she sees or experiences something new & exciting.  This trip could happen before or after a new house & mortgage.  That’s the wild card right now.

As for me, I’ve got my guitars, movies, music, & health.  So I’m good keeping a rather low profile & getting out of the house once or twice a week while getting the odd CD or movie.  As far as anything extravagant for me, there’s nothing desired or needed other than a wheelchair accessible bungalow for all of us, hopefully sooner than later but we’ll see what the housing market has I store for us?  This guitar would be a nice luxury item/instrument with all of the different pick up combinations not available to me but really not needed in anyway.  More so that Kim & Brewster are good!

Don’t miss going to Rider games & I’ve never owned a guitar like this, so I don’t know what I’m missing.  It does 8 different things with the electronics but it’s a no for me.  Another $1300 + tax on a (cheapest PRS model) guitar this year or any year for that matter is a ridiculous amount of money for different/double the electronic options than I’ll have.  Needed no, desired of course.

This is the best photo I could find of exactly the guitar I ordered with the finish I chose.  I’m assuming it will be a high gloss type of colour too?  This will more than likely be the last guitar I purchase, unless I decide to sell a guitar or two in the future to by a “Paul’s Guitar” PRS SE in the distant future which is currently $1300 + tax, “Paul’s Guitar” is the aqua coloured one.

If you’re a Blue Jay fan, all of the Spring Training games are televised now starting on Monday.  Start time is typically 11:00 am Mountain/Saskatchewan time.

If you’re getting this through Facebook, give it a like or other reaction, or share it.  That’s the only way of promoting this site, since I’m not profiting from this in any way.

Do you have a question about stage 4 brain cancer?  Ask if you do!

5 day exercise total; 600 leg lifts, 450 crunches, 450 squats, 300 back flexes, 250 curls, 200 tricep lifts w/5 pound weight, 150 shoulder raises w/5 pound weight,  stretching, & yoga.

I fell asleep to “The Wallflowers” the album “Bringing Down the Horse”

I was up too early to play music.  I played a few albums while trying to sleep.  This did the trick “Testament” the album “The Gathering”

FYI-That’s Jacob Dylan singing, Bob Dylan’s son^^!

I couldn’t sleep last night, too hot in here!  Yes, we’re still waiting for the new compressor for the A/C in our suite.  I could get angry, but what’s the point?  It won’t get the compressor here any faster.  It will do more damage than good.

We went for a drive to McDonalds last night.  I just wanted a medium vanilla shake to cool off.  I was doing some HOT yoga yesterday, unintentionally HOT!  There was a guy with a sign asking for food.  We get to the drive through & just order a couple of cheese burgers for him.  I thought afterwards “Ah, crap we should have got a 2 cheeseburger meal with a cold pop for him!!”  He was very thankful & gracious when I handed him the bag though.  Doing little things like that make me & others happy!  Much better than being a #@$&^% making me & others feel like crap.

Tuesdays & Thursdays I stretch, do some yoga, & use weights.  There’s not a certain amount of stretching & yoga, with no specific amount of them to do, & no blog to post, those days often take longer than 1 ½ hours.  Monday, Wednesday, & Friday reach an hour-1 ½ hours of exercise.

The therapists at the Wascana Rehabilitation Center worked hard on my core muscles aka my abs.  Leg lifts & crunches are both meant to activate my abs.  That’s my reason for doing those exercises 3 days a week.  I’m positive that under my 1 ½” of fat I have a glorious 8 pack.  Well, that’s the story I’m sticking to!

I’ve lost weight while building some muscle.  I’m not on any type of diet, I just keep my food intake healthy & other stuff in moderation.  I’m not looking to be a body builder or trying to slim right down.  I’m trying to walk!  Everything else is a cherry on top of whatever your favourite dessert is!  Yes, I eat dessert, in moderation to what I used to.

I don’t like the feeling of being full or hungry.  I much prefer being comfortable after a meal.  Balanced portions of protein/meat & carbs/vegetables or more vegetables than meat in most cases.  Personally, I don’t believe in a diet for everyone.  I think everyone’s body will react differently to whatever they put into their body.  My doctor put me on a thyroid pill since it was underactive.  1 pill a day did the trick, I’ll be on that pill for a very long time, like forever.

As far as my mental health goes, I haven’t had my second appointment yet.  They increased one of my anti-depressants at my previous appointment & it has helped somewhat.  I asked if I could also be referred to a therapist to talk to.  A pill increase won’t likely solve everything, hopefully the 2 together will.  I’m pretty sure my “…pills are kicking in…”

Sorry this is a bit later than usual.  I was out watching my cousin’s daughter play in a fastball provincial tournament.  Extra innings, great game, unfortunate loss by 1 run, & a VERY questionable call by the home plate umpire.  Nice to get out & watch a good game live in the shade on the first base line!  Aubrey is good now & she’ll get even better!

Top 10 rock & metal songs so far of 2019.

Ed Sheeran is out today!  “No.6 Collaborations Project”

I’m a casual fan of their first album still.  I’ve played/sang “Higher” from their 2nd album, both or all 3 chords.  The first album has some lasting power though!  Most of the bands on this part of the blog I haven’t seen live.  Concerts out of province are a little out of our price range.  Priorities mortgage payment or concert?  I have seen many concerts in Saskatchewan & a few in Alberta though in the past.

Do you have a question about stage 4 brain cancer?  Ask if you do!

I fell asleep to “Muse” the album “The Resistance”

I exercised to “Boston” self-titled album, followed by “Kelly Clarkson” the album “Meaning of Life”

Monday I got up & dressed in my exercise clothes.  I did my exercises. Then I wrote my “WEEKEND UPDATE” post, well I finished it.  All of the beginning music links was stuff I listened to on my iPod or in the car on my iPod coming back to Regina.  I grabbed those links Sunday night.

After 3 days of me being away, I thought Brewster would miss me, boy was I wrong!  I came into our condo, & Brewster just looked at me as though he was thinking “Humph, he’s back I guess”.  Dad was helping me with some of my tiny bags, he came in right behind me.  Brewster was much more enthused to see my dad than he was to see me.

He was freaking out on Monday while I was making my veggie juice & boiling eggs for the week.  He even asked to be up on my lap.  He put his front paws on my knees for me to pick him up, which happens very rarely unless you’re Kim or her sister.  Kim told me that he really doesn’t like the sound of our instant pot when the steam is released.

So as of Monday I got as much done as I needed to for the week (food wise).  Kim relaxed on the weekend as I told her she needs & deserves to.

I was speaking last week about my mental health & specifically about my depression.  I mentioned that I was stressed, frustrated, & stubborn.  Both stress & frustration self-inflicted.  I always think, “I NEED to do more.  I can do better than this!”  I am my own worst critic, & brain cancer is what made me expect more from myself.   The stubbornness is in my genes from my mother’s side of the family, mostly my grandfather.

I’d exercise with equipment at my parents’ house in a short lived university student career.  I was in much better shape way back when.  I didn’t know how to study really, so I took WAY too many study breaks at home & spent my time exercising, mostly doing pushups, sit-ups, & dumb bell curls.

I’m no expert on any type of mental illness, I do understand that 1/5 Canadians deal with their own mental illness.  I don’t know of any that do on a daily bases, if I did, it’s not my story to tell.  I personally don’t find mine to be something to hide from anyone.

I guess those that have a mental illness will deal with it however they choose to?  I guess it’s the same way a gay person chooses to announce being gay.  Probably many issues mostly wondering/worrying how others will react.

So I hope you’ll join me as I go into this new adventure?

The 4 big albums I’m waiting for this year are follow ups to these 4 albums

2006   10,000 Days

I think it’s high time to get over “Creed” & move on to “Alter Bridge”!  They’re “Creed” with music lessons & a tenor singer with INCREDIBLE range!

I’ll take “Alter Bridge” 9/10 times.  I do enjoy the first “Creed” album quite a bit though.

I do enjoy some of his stuff, not all of it, but most of it.  He’s 54 years old & from New York.  He’s a solo artist/singer song writer.  Plays really good guitar while doing lead vocals.  Some of the stuff he does baffles me.  I only have 2 albums “Mama Said” & a “Greatest Hits” compilation.

1991   MAMA SAID

Since the passing of Steve Jobs, Apple has made error after error, it’s a fact, look it up! Apple stock is on a decline while Microsoft is on an incline. As you know, I don’t like the idea of streaming music, it has it’s pros & cons. The moment we signed up for Apple Music, iTunes doubled multiple files in our iTunes catalogue. Sure it’s cheap, $9.99 I think…I don’t use it, Kim does. Corey McDonald & I were talking about it a few weeks ago. He made a very good point. Saying that we’ll always have access to music, even if Apple Music & other streaming sites cease to exist. True, solid point. I view it differently.

We’ve always been able to purchase our music & be assured that it’s in our possession, now streaming music feels like renting music, to me? Yes, everything I buy music wise is from iTunes now & yes I miss being able to read the liner notes, the lyrics & thank you sections on a physical copy.

Now a country, not sure which one, has declared that burning a CD from iTunes is illegal. Now Apple sells their laptops & iMacs without a CD tray, that seems illegal to me. I haven’t put all of my CDs on my iTunes, what if I had an Apple computer? No CD drive & somewhere around 300 CDs to import? If I wanted them all on iTunes, I’d have to repurchase each album? That would be in the neighborhood of $3000? But I own them now on CD at roughly $25 each! I’ve paid for them once & now I’d have to buy them again? Sure I could go to a streaming site & get them. What if said streaming music site worked like Netflix? Netflix shows aren’t on there for life? They change their catalogue of shows on a monthly basis? So if I attain my music from a streaming site, will it be there forever. Probably & maybe not at the same time.

I also have a few CDs that are now out of print? iTunes doesn’t have them, will a streaming site? This is out of print so I’m glad I bought this on CD when I found out about it in 2001 or 2002?

I also have a few other CDs out of print & not available anywhere. I had bought some newer albums on iTunes by a group Corey got me interested in. He saw them on my iTunes & said they’re not available on Apple Music yet. I don’t want to wait for new music that isn’t available yet on a streaming site yet. I’m not saying streaming music sites are wrong, I’m saying they’re not for me. Guess who is making money on Digital music?………………….the site that provides the music, download, streaming or from a CD store. Vinyl, I have no idea? So the people actually making the product aren’t making money on any sales of their product? That seems wrong to me. It’s legal, but it doesn’t work for me. If I had the physical space, I’d be purchasing CDs or Vinyl records still. An album on iTunes costs $9.99 usually how about splitting that 3 ways? $3.33 for Apple, the label/management and the artist(s), then everyone gets an equal amount as opposed to $0.71 for the band/artist that is signed to a label? $9.99 wont kill me, maybe I’ll have to wait a few weeks because it doesn’t fit into our budget at the moment, at least I know that once I buy it, it will be there forever.

I can’t be the only person with computer access that thinks this way? Apple isn’t keeping iTunes available for just me.

In the end it doesn’t really matter how you get your music. The musicians of today are making far less than they would have 8 years ago, thank you Napster for nothing! Really, financially nothing!

Kim was going to get me a “Fit Bit” for my birthday earlier this year. I can count the sets of my workout & keep track of what I’m doing. When we go walking, she puts on her GPS on her phone. Nice gesture, but I can count.

10 best American metal bands………… the eyes of those at

I don’t think I’d just slap the metal label on Tool? I do like Lamb of God though!

Alter Bridge dedicate this song to the troops!!! Thank you!

From what I’ve heard Alter Bridge is set to release their 5th studio album in September. Depending if it’s early or late in September, a preorder should be available in July or August possibly. For those who don’t know Alter Bridge is made from the guitarist, original bassist, & drummer from Creed. The singer is the difference. Creed had a baritone singer, Scott Stapp. Alter Bridge has a tenor singer, Myles Kennedy. Every studio album has surpassed the previous album, for me.

Maya Rudolph & Martin Short in a variety show. It starts tonight, & I’ve got the series recording. Seems like it will be a funny show. I really like them individually! Theme song inside the link.

Here is a festival line up I’d attend in the USA if my passport hadn’t expired.

I’ve been a fan of Foo Fighters since ’97 when their 2nd album was released. Big Wreck is right up there with them since I was able to see them live in ’99 when I was 19 & of age to get inside a bar. I think now I should add Tool & Alter Bridge to the top of my favourite groups. If The Watchmen were still recording new music they’d be a very close 2nd to that group along with many others, for me.

Prophets of Rage announce line up & first show!!!!!!

This 2nd album from progressive metal group, Third Ion, sounds like it will far surpass the success of the first album.

Glastonbury festival line up & Stage times announced

Other than Muse, Adele, Coldplay, & The 1975, I wouldn’t attend this festival if I could.

It’s like watching a car collision. You don’t want to watch but you can’t take your eyes off of it. It’s late Sunday afternoon, CNN has been on pretty much the entire day. (There’s nothing else on, unless you’re a fan of the NFL). With all of this crap going on in the world, I predict I’ll die at the hands of a terrorist. Almost everyone wants world peace, but I think we’re all looking at a possibility of WWIII? Either way I’ll go about my life the same way & I would encourage others to do the same!

Watching the AMAs last night made me feel old & out of touch. I’ve heard 2 Demi Lovato songs now. I’m sure some of the audience at the AMAs were wondering “Who’s Alanis Morrisette & why is she singing with Demi Lovato?” I was the total opposite “What is Demi Lovato famous for & why is she singing with Alanis Morrisette?” I wasn’t a fan of that album when I was 15 & 20 years later has not changed my opinion. In 1995 though Alanis was EVERYWHERE!

I was watching the AMAs for one reason. More “Star Wars” footage & Pentatonix. They got me! I watched the entire show to see what I wanted to see. Well played AMAs, well played!

What I think is pretty cool right now is, call in radio shows in Toronto have 99.9% of the callers still talking about the Blue Jays & how next year they could remain a strong contender for a World Series championship!

Every fan has their own idea of what they’d do. So I’ll throw my hat in that ring too! I would trade knuckle ball pitcher R.A. Dickey, his catcher Josh Thole & whoever is being named the 5th outfielder for a decent starting pitcher. I have nothing against any of these people just that a knuckle ball is extremely unpredictable & difficult to catch. I’d also trade newly acquired short stop Troy Tulowitzki for cash or a pitcher & put the young impressive fielder Ryan Goins at short stop. That should free up 17-18 million dollars. Then I’d have to chose between right fielder Jose Bautista or Edwin Encarnacion who plays DH or first base. Currently they have 3 first basemen. I’d trade Edwin for a number 1 or number 2 starting pitcher, or trade him at deadline if David Price signs. Both Bautista & Encarnacion are free agents at the end of the 2016 & I assume the Blue Jays can’t afford both of them & a few pitchers. I look at it as at the moment they have 3 starting pitchers. 26 year old Marcus Stroman who could be your number 1 or number 2 pitcher, Aaron Sanchez, & Marcus Estrada who has sign on for 2 more years with Toronto. 3B Josh Donaldson will be going to arbitration soon & will likely be offered $12,000,000 a year. If pitcher David Price signs, it will likely be a minimum of 7-9 years at a minimum of $25,000,000 a year if they’re lucky. Baseball is a game of numbers on & off the field. That’s what I’d do, but I’m nothing more than a fan who played & never reached the height of their success. Heck I never made it out of the B league in Regina! If David Price wants to stay, throw as much money at him as possible! Rogers is a multi billion dollar company. I don’t know the budget, & who knows if it will ever be public?

The countdown on Foo Fighters’ website finished last night (Sunday night). Now a letter from Dave Grohl & a 5 song EP for free on 5 different types of music sites! Each link is on their website! What they ask of you is to please donate to a charity for those affected by the attacks in Paris!

Sorry, I wrote this Sunday & a little on Monday. I had a doctors appointment Monday morning just to get some refills for my pills, then spent the day/evening at my parents place. Living in the 21st century with all of these advancements we’ve made is not so hot. What really gets me is people see someone in trouble & the typical reaction is “I should grab my cell phone & get this all on video”! REALLY!?!?!? A few years ago we were at Tony Romas for chicken wings. When we left, I was holding my left over chicken wings on my lap. There was a lip at the bottom of the sidewalk wheelchair “ramp”. Neither Kim or I noticed it before. I fell face first on to the parking lot asphalt. Somebody, a stranger, rushed over to help me! HE OFFERED TO HELP ME! Wow! He didn’t pull out his phone to video the event, he made a fast decision to help me. I was fine & didn’t really need help. My parents had just arrived to pick us up. Sure I had some bloody spots on my face & my glasses went flying, I was fine. Kim & my parents helped me into my chair & all was fine. I’m still shocked that a stranger offered to help.

It’s crazy, screwed up world we live in with all of this violence over a “Holy war”? I’m not about to judge others on their religious beliefs & not all Muslims are extremists. If your God tells you to kill those who aren’t of the same religion, that’s an odd religion, which I don’t understand. Maybe just try to help the living instead of wearing a suicide bombers vest? Or forget about your cell phone & help someone in danger. As Ellen Degeneres says at the end of every show “Be kind to one another”!

“Jihad-(English pronunciation: /dʒɪˈhɑːd/; Arabic: جهاد jihād [dʒiˈhæːd]) is an Islamic term referring to the religious duty of Muslims to maintain the religion. In Arabic, the word jihād is a noun meaning “to strive, to apply oneself, to struggle, to persevere”.

I did grab the new “Puscifer” album Wednesday. A solid album “Money Shot” released at the end of October. Still not “Tool” though. I guess there was 7 years between “Lateralus” & “10,000 Days”. ’99-2006. “Puscifer” has released 12 albums/EPs since 2006. Sorry, I didn’t realize this was full of LANGUAGE when I posted it yesterday? It doesn’t have an effect on me, & I don’t really listen to the lyrics often?

It’s currently Saturday, October 31st. I’m pretty sure I’ve kicked the flu bug away. What a waste of a week! Going to bed at 8:30 or 9 hopping you’ll sleep through the night only to wake up because you’re too warm or shivering to the point you can’t do anything. I was shivering so much Kim had to give me my pills & water one night. I’m still a little, I’m sure that won’t last long though. A couple of decent sleeps & I should be fine. I will now return you to your regular scheduled programming…..

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are cleaning house already with 2W-14L. That’s probably the reason for lack of enthusiasm for the CFL this year & last year.

The Blue Jays have already made a big move. The President of the organization, Paul Beeston. His contract expired & he’s now retired. He’s been a part of the group since day 1 in 1977. A new President was hired at the end of August. On Thursday, October 29th GM Alex Anthopoulos, was either released or walked away. Monday I’m expecting a press conference to be televised? Already there are many fans & media that have questions, & this could get ugly fast. If the Jays don’t at least amount to their recent I can see millions of dollars down the drain. Every Blue Jays fan bought a shirt, jersey, hat, or some other type of merchandise. They increased their television ratings to an average 5.000.000 viewers for the season, & the stadium was all but sold out for a Jays game, instead of 2.000.000 fans in the seats for there were 5.000.000 people that went out to see the game. I don’t what took place or why AA left, so I hope Mark Shapiro the new President will clear the air with a press conference on Monday, or he might be fighting an uphill battle?

I got my preordered Ian Fletcher Thornley solo album on Friday. It’s really good. It’s not close to Big Wreck’s rock music at all. It’s acoustic, banjo, mandolin music. 2 of the songs are from his demos he had on his page, which I some how figured out to download them.

I agree with most of this list. Not all of it, I’m sure all of them have inspired a TON of bands, if they have, I don’t hear it.

Best guitarist of 2015? It’s subjective, yes Mark Tremonti from Alter Bridge is good but who’s to say he’s the best?

Scott Stapp, singer of “Creed”, clarifies his desire for a “Creed” reunion

Billy Joel sang the National Anthem for game 3 of the World Series in New York. See what happened as he left.

Who knew “Evanescence” were even thinking about making new music. I just assumed they had released a couple of big albums, then just made more music for there hard core fans?

Former ‘Scientologist’ Leah Remini speaks about her former religion

Bret Saberhagen pitcher in the 1980s skit on Jimmy Fallon.

OK, there’s a countdown clock on Foo Fighters’ website. Doesn’t say what it’s counting down to? Could be the removal of Dave Grohl’s cast or even better a countdown to season 2 of “Sonic Highways”? This is called B-Side folks, it won’t harm you!

Songs I like, “The Tallywood String Quartet”. Have you ever wondered what a rock song would sound like if it was done with no vocals or anything else other than a string quartet? Here it is!

P.S. I’d do more but I’m exhausted, Sorry.

A Million Miles Away Blog on facebook.  Please like it & share it?

Give the site a moment to load all of the links. It takes a bit for my computer & it crashes on Kim’s cell.

The difference between the Ed Sheeran concert & Foo Fighters concert? Foo Fighters fans are old enough to know how to use a cell phone at a concert. Nobody watched the concert through their cell phone. The 2 guys in front of my dad & I, stood up checked to see if it bothered my line of site, I told it was fine. They took about 2-4 pictures each & a video of their favourite song! That’s how to use a cell phone at a concert, it’s called CONCERT ETIQUETTE kids, learn it & follow it. There were so many cell phones at Ed Sheeran I went back by the exit doors to listen to the 2 last songs, no kids videoing the concert on their phones back there. Kim, security, & I. Much better!

New/old Rage Against the Machine concert/DVD

Now all of the homophobes can freak out at the sight of 2 straight men kissing

Grace Potter live on Conan I’d never heard of her, this was really good though, at least I thought it was good.

Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden singer) on his battle with cancer.

Yeah, it’s radio. Do you have “satellite” radio? Same crap different pile, that’s just how I see it.

I heard their album “Naveed” & said “This group will be huge!!!!!”.  The people I was driving to high school were very opposed to my critique.  They did become very successful with their second album “Clumsy”.  Immediate decline for me.  When they released their 5th album “Gravity”, I was out/done.  The first 4 albums weren’t bad but the 5th was so not for me.

Jonny Depp & Gene Simmons play KISS classic for charity

I’m a little worried about the upcoming album by Trivium album. I have it preordered from iTunes, every time I listen to the first song released from it, I like it more. When I first heard it I was completely against preordering it. The second released song made me feel better,

Mark Tremonti on the possibility of a “Creed” reunion. Yes I played this in our first band, Sorry. No I haven’t heard it in a very long time.

Mark Tremonti on Alter Bridge, “Cauterize” solo album & the future of Creed.

Checked out N. W. A.’s album “Straight Out of Compton” since there’s all of this hype about the movie. I like it, if I were to buy it, it’s probably not something I’d listen to very often.

Still really liking the new “Finger Eleven” album & the new “Lamb of God” album

Songs I like, “Norah Jones”

Metallica on charity drive for flood victims in Texas.

I’ve just recently became aware of this group, here’s a purchase sale on their website

Top 10 Rob Zombie songs. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, he’s quite intelligent & a fantastic interview.

He truly is a modern day Alice Cooper, a highly intelligent shock rocker. I’ve seen Alice Cooper live in Regina in 2004 as well as Rob Zombie opening for Ozzy in 2007 in Saskatoon.

^^A guy who doesn’t take his lifestyle for granted!

Alex Lifeson of Rush hopes to play new shows after what has been called their “final tour”

I like Rush very talented. I like their stuff post 1985. Sounds like a better mix on the recordings to me a lot like Primus, very talented but I can’t stand Les Claypool’s voice (the singer/bass player).

Muse ‘Drones’ album track by track. This could possibly be my album of the year? This, Lamb of God or Barenaked Ladies?

Part 9 of Barenaked Ladies in the studio. The making of ‘Silverball’ LANGUAGE AT THE START!!

Song below.

I don’t care who’s doing what with anything related to ‘Star Wars’ just don’t screw it up. No more Jar jar Binks either.

I’d have to agree with Kevin Smith (actor/director/writer/editor) Episode III Revenge of the Sith & Episode V The Empire Strikes Back are the most dark & best movies of the ‘Star Wars’ franchise. For me anyways. Yes I have the 6 movies on DVD, before blu-ray were the in thing, with one bonus DVD of bonus material. This is me nerding out.

I like ‘Florence & The Machine’ I just don’t own any of their music! It’s music I’d buy & never listen to.

‘My Morning Jacket’ on Conan!

Can McCallum hit a goal post like our Saskatchewan Roughrider kicker Milo can? Do we get bonus points for that? We should & we’d be in the Grey Cup!!!!!

Big Wreck is Canada’s Soundgarden. Weird guitar tunings, weird time signatures and both could easily pull off a cover from the other group. Yes, I like both groups.

Scott Stapp (Creed singer) is angry about Alter Bridge. Mark Tremonti (guitarist) says he’s busy with Alter Bridge & his solo project.

Dave Grohl’s everyday routine on Ellen.

Very cool mash up! Guns n’ Roses & Foo Fighters. ‘Sweet Times o’ Mine’

All of this much ado about nothing over Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner). Can I ask how this directly affects you or your lifestyle? “Oh, it changed my opinion of him/her so much”. OK, how? Didn’t change me at all & now he/she is comfortable as transgender. I would think it only affects the family members and her/him? Media backlash? Who cares, don’t read it. A bold & brave move by a person in the public eye.

Weird but cool at the same time. Guy plays & sings “Yesterday” by The Beatles while having brain surgery.

Corey Taylor of ‘Slipknot’ recalls near death experience

Rock It Out Blog today

Songs I like! “Incubus” I own 2 CDs from way back when. They have quite a few on iTunes, their new one sounds OK. I don’t listen to them much.
New one is a 4 song EP.

Another set list from Foo Fighters!

Scott Stapp & Wife to be on new VH1 reality show.

I was never a big fan of ’80s hair metal, my parents didn’t listen to it so neither did I. Here are some well known ’80s musicians from that scene covering a song.

Barenaked Ladies

12:00am eastern time on iTunes, usually. In Saskatchewan it’s 10:00pm or even 9:30pm sometimes.

AC/DC against ticket resellers! Rightfully so!

I hope Anthrax plays longer than Slayer? I like Slayer but it gets old after one album/45 minutes

Matt Heafy of ‘Trivium’ playing ‘In Flames’ on acoustic guitar!!

At least he’s alive, I know it sucks but there is a silver lining to his car collision. Tracy Morgan’s first interview after accident.

Fall Out Boys “Uma Thurman” on arcade game “Dance Dance Revolution”

Halestorm in Canada.

Metal fans are considered to be the “most loyal” music fans according to Spotify.

I’m craving new ‘Lamb of God’ tunes!!! July 25th

New tour but the album release date is no go yet?

My voice disappeared, & my sinus’ are plugged. Just a cold, nothing big. I think I’ll have a nap on the couch.

Songs I like! “Huey Lewis and the News” Right there, stop please don’t judge me!
