Music throughout the weekend. “I Mother Earth”, “Anthrax”, “Coheed and Cambria”, & “3 albums by The Watchmen”.
Friday evening Kim went straight from work to our friends’ house to babysit the kids as our friends were at a wedding. I was home with Brewster watching the Saskatchewan Roughrider game in Montreal on TV. The game was called official & cut short in the 3rd quarter because of a bad storm. Lightning, thunder, & rain. First time that’s happened in the CFL. Riders were ahead at the time, so the Riders won!
Saturday I already made my juice on Thursday, so I boiled my eggs. Kim & I watched the end of Stephen Colbert, & a condensed baseball game to see one of the NY Yankees go crazy after being tossed out of the game for doing nothing in the dugout. It was the player beside him on the bench that said “He’s @#$#% terrible” regarding the umpire’s strike zone. Kim went to see the outdoor “Garth Brooks” concert at the football stadium with 3 other people. I went to my parents with Brewster. In retrospect Brewster & I should have stayed home. He barked constantly because he was always on the wrong side of the backdoor & he has to wear a diaper when he’s inside since he’s almost 14 & started marking in whatever house another dog lives in.
Today Kim’s doing some laundry & Brewster & I might accompany her on a grocery trip? Then Kim & I plan to relax & watch a movie.

The first album by Alter Bridge, “One Day Remains”, turned 15 on Saturday, August 10th!
OK, Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide while in jail. The media will have to speak about this. While doing so, I hope they continue to talk about the mass shootings. If they don’t, I’m sure nothing will change in regards to gun control. Any politician that can, will sweep the shootings story under the rug. So do we talk about a big shot that sexually harassed under age women & committed suicide while in jail, or the multiple people that were victims of the mass shootings?
I have 6 of their albums. I’m not a huge fan of punk but I do listen to a bit of it, these guys reach my heaviness limit for punk. I had some “NOFX” & “Fidlar” as well, I just found that too heavy of punk music for me. I’m much more tolerant of heavy metal music. All of that being said, I know nothing about this group other than the oldest album I own of theirs was released in 1988. Here we go, 1 song from each of the 6 albums I have….
1989 NO CONTROL
1993 RECIPE FOR HATE
1994 STRANGER THAN FICTION
1995 ALL AGES
2002 PROCESS OF BELIEF
The more you share this, the more readers I get. No, I’m not profiting from this in any way. I can’t tell who’s reading this but thank you! Word of mouth is the only way of promoting this.
