This coronavirus is getting out of hand.  All it is, in my opinion only, is a seemingly more contagious flu virus without a vaccine yet.  “Wash your hands for 20 seconds” they say, that’s fine & great advice.  Aren’t we told to do the same thing during every flu season?  Doesn’t everyone wash their hands multiple times a day anyways?  “It’s only contagious if you’re within a 6 foot distance of a person with the virus”.  How much closer are you with someone who’s sick anyways?  “A is only effective to not spread the virus”.  OK that one is new to me, the other stuff the experts say is the same thing you’ll hear every flu season.  The plague….uh….coronavirus is more contagious & a little more deadly than the flu.  The regular flu can kill you too, just a lower death percentage.  Be cautious, be informed (more than what you read here, I’m not a doctor), & stay healthy.

Managed to get ½ of a weight workout in on Thursday.  A realtor & clients came to look at the place about mid-day.  We had to make ourselves “…disappear” for a bit.  Stayed up late Wednesday cleaning & organizing.  Makes grow fonder of this place when we do that, but then I don’t sleep well the night before a viewing, my brain races “Did we do this, did we clean that, did we arrange this, did we organize this, etc.”  Don’t expect to hear feedback until later on Monday at the latest if any at all?

I much prefer waking up before 7:00 am & exercising ASAP after a small breakfast.  I truly missed it when I was sitting around for a week doing nothing.  The old saying is true, “You get as much in return, as to what you put in.”  This can apply to a few different things.  Just being in a wheelchair.  Sure I’ve been in a wheelchair for about 12 years now.  I still meet different obstacles I’ve never encountered before.  I look at it as a way to learn, sure I’ll get frustrated if something doesn’t go as planned.  All it really means is that I’ll have to look at the situation from a different perspective next time.  I see those situations as learning experiences now.  It may seem odd to others but if it works for me without affecting others, then who really cares?

Example, I play guitar in a wheelchair.  Right there it’s odd, not something you see or think about.  In order to do that I have to move my arm rests out of the way by either taking them off completely or lifting them out of the locking position & swing them around to cross behind my wheelchair.  I can’t just pick up a guitar and play it normally.  I have to get my wheelchair arm rests out of the way first.  When I figured that out it made things much easier.

Navigating through everyday life is a learning experience for me, not a challenge, as a physically disabled person.  Most tasks require a little more effort & thought than they used to.

Our #1 priority right now is Brewster’s medication, appetite, & general health.  He’s fine but just getting older & requires a little more attention.  We don’t have a human child, so he’s our little boy (12 pound Bichon/Shi-tzu).  He’s a little over 14 human years old now & on some expensive heart medication for his heart murmur.  Whatever he needs he gets.  Kim & I have always & will always try to make him feel safe, worry free, and pain free.  He sleeps in our bed at night, then one of his two beds or on the floor “wherever I may roam” in the suite.

The second priority is a trip for Kim that I’ll tag along with for the ride.  I personally don’t care if I leave Canada or even the Canadian prairies for that matter but I understand why many others would.  In the end, I just want to be with Kim when she sees or experiences something new & exciting.  This trip could happen before or after a new house & mortgage.  That’s the wild card right now.

As for me, I’ve got my guitars, movies, music, & health.  So I’m good keeping a rather low profile & getting out of the house once or twice a week while getting the odd CD or movie.  As far as anything extravagant for me, there’s nothing desired or needed other than a wheelchair accessible bungalow for all of us, hopefully sooner than later but we’ll see what the housing market has I store for us?  This guitar would be a nice luxury item/instrument with all of the different pick up combinations not available to me but really not needed in anyway.  More so that Kim & Brewster are good!

Don’t miss going to Rider games & I’ve never owned a guitar like this, so I don’t know what I’m missing.  It does 8 different things with the electronics but it’s a no for me.  Another $1300 + tax on a (cheapest PRS model) guitar this year or any year for that matter is a ridiculous amount of money for different/double the electronic options than I’ll have.  Needed no, desired of course.

This is the best photo I could find of exactly the guitar I ordered with the finish I chose.  I’m assuming it will be a high gloss type of colour too?  This will more than likely be the last guitar I purchase, unless I decide to sell a guitar or two in the future to by a “Paul’s Guitar” PRS SE in the distant future which is currently $1300 + tax, “Paul’s Guitar” is the aqua coloured one.

If you’re a Blue Jay fan, all of the Spring Training games are televised now starting on Monday.  Start time is typically 11:00 am Mountain/Saskatchewan time.

If you’re getting this through Facebook, give it a like or other reaction, or share it.  That’s the only way of promoting this site, since I’m not profiting from this in any way.
