Music throughout the weekend.  “Big Wreck”, “Tool”, & that’s about it.  Tool is a long album with most songs (6?) over 10 minutes on the 10 song digital version & the 7 song physical version.

Other than trying to find the time to get a good listen into my 2 new albums.  I was SUPER tired/exhausted Friday afternoon & evening.  I stayed up as long as I could to hang out with Kim.  I packed it in at 10:00 pm.

Saturday we took to organizing our computer room.  Kim busted her butt doing the majority of it.  I stayed out of her way & cleaned the kitchen area, dishwasher, sweep, & wet Swiffer the floor.  As of Saturday evening it wasn’t quite put back together.  I threw out some of my stuff & organized my desk drawers, then put the desks in a different layout.

Grabbed the acoustic guitar again while trying to stay out of Kim’s way on Saturday.  I hate putting it down.  My brother has a used practice amplifier that he doesn’t use anymore.  Cheaper in price, but still fits what I’d like, quieter too!

Labour Day Classic was here on Sunday, well it’s here every Labour Day weekend.  Always a fun game between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs. the home Saskatchewan Roughriders.  Riders won 19-17 on the final play of the game with a field goal.  Winnipeg gave us 3 points though in the first quarter on kicks, Riders had WAY too many stupid/preventable penalties again.  If I was the head coach, which I’m not, I be passing out $20,000 fines for stupid/easily preventable penalties.  After this game & the previous home game, the players might be paying to play here, it’s embarrassing to the rest of the league.

My great aunt & uncle were here from Winnipeg.  My dad, great uncle, & I went to the game.  SO much fun to be at the game in that atmosphere FANTASTIC!

Computer room is nearing completion.  We need to figure out where a few photos will go & what we’ll use to hang them.  Probably throw out a bit more dust catchers & bring up a ceramic Pinocchio my grandmother painted for me when I was a child.  It’s currently in our storage unit in our parkade.

Figured out a way to help my grandparents drink more water, just trying to help them out.  I hope they enjoy it with Mio flavouring.

Kim just went out for a few groceries after doing a TON of other stuff.  I finally got some time to take a breather and turn on my computer after doing stuff around here.  It’s 5:20 pm as I type this.

Dixie Chicks “Fly” at 20 years later.

That’s quite the lineup of guests for a Post Malone album.

There wasn’t much news at all this week that’s why this is shorter than usual.  Not even more than one article about the TOOL album.  Kim bought it for me on Friday.  If I had known it was $70 + tax, I’d have said not to worry about it.  It did come with a 36 page booklet full of cool art, lyrics, & credits.  Also a video on a 4” screen when you open the CD panel.  It starts playing when you open it & stops when you close it, pretty cool to see.

Yes, a country artist.  Kim listens to country music, & he snuck in under the radar.  He has that bit of 70s southern rock vibe to him.  It’s far more apparent when he’s a guest on other albums though.  I know nothing about him other than a few guest appearances, his own album, & Kim went to The Craven Valley Jamboree to see him as the weekend headliner.  No, I didn’t bother to go to him or Garth Brooks a few weeks ago.  Just not my thing. A lot of money for something I likely wouldn’t enjoy.

Here are 3 songs he made an appearance on, for 3 individual albums, followed by his own album.
