Do you have a question about stage 4 brain cancer?  Ask if you do!

Music throughout the weekend.  “Coheed & Cambria”, “Big Wreck”, “Metallica”, & “Testament”

As for the previous post, Kim knows that I’m blunt to a fault.  I actually called her to see what she thought of Friday’s post.  There was no discussion really.  I just wanted to make it clear that my intent was not to blame Kim for leasing a new vehicle.  I didn’t like the idea from the start.  If she says she can make it work, I trust her completely.  She takes care of the finances here because she is much better than I am with money!  If I like it or not, the papers are signed & it’s done now.  I guess we’ll be driving a new, red, Toyota RAV4 in about a month.  Straight from the factory!  We’re trading in our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe.  She really pressed the sales man hard on the issues we spoke about that day.  We still have a few details to iron out when it gets here.

Kim & the salesman figured out a way financially to make the vehicle payments reasonable for us, now I feel a bit better about things.  If I had just listened to what they were talking about & didn’t have Brewster constantly turning on my lap & wanting to see everyone, the previous post wouldn’t have been a real thing.

Friday I spent my entire day going through my iTunes & deleting all of the doubled files I always get.  I didn’t even eat lunch.  I finished at about 6:15 pm.  My elbow was sore from being in the same position for so long.

Saturday I woke up early.  2 rum & coke press’ Friday night.  That sugar amount in the evening wakes me up quite early, it’s been that way since 2003 probably.  We spent the afternoon with some Rebellion beer on Sherry & James’ deck while Brewster patrolled the yard for us.  He likes the opportunity to roam free in a backyard.

I guess we’re not as cash poor as I thought.  Kim ordered me a new 256 GB iPod Touch.  She didn’t even tell me.  She ordered it & showed me the ordered screen after on her phone.  She really didn’t have to do that.  She said to me “You can have stuff too.  I/We got a new vehicle, so here’s a new iPod Touch!”  If she had told me I would have said “Nah, I don’t need it.  We should just save some cash for our anniversary next year.”  I hope this isn’t a pity gift because I was grumpy about the new vehicle?

Today should be just a regular lazy Sunday.  Groceries, in the middle of boiling eggs, already made my juice, & laundry.

Thursday evening I got an update from iTunes.  Earlier in the week they introduced 3 new iPod touch players.  Then these stories come out on Friday about iTunes being shut down in the coming week.  I don’t buy these reports at all.  When I get an email directly from Apple, then I’ll believe it.  Am I right?  Who knows?  I also heard last year that CDs & other 3rd party files would be eliminated after March.  That didn’t happen.  I can still import CDs to iTunes as I’ve always been able to.  I have a preorder for an album to be released in July also.  If iTunes is going away, what does anyone need a 256 GB iPod Touch for?  I just saw another preorder for an album being released in July.  I think this iTunes cancellation news is just to sell the new models of the iPod Touch?

Well this isn’t the greatest news for Canadians.

Bonus on 25th anniversary edition of Live’s “Throwing Copper”

I’ll just grab the 3 unreleased songs when the album’s released.

Full disclosure, I know nothing about this band, the members, or where they come from.  This is a band my sister-in-law, Sherry, recommended to me.  She’s tiny but likes to rock out.  I have 2 of their 5 albums on iTunes…..

The more you share this, the more readers I get.  No, I’m not profiting from this in any way.  I can’t tell who’s reading this but thank you! Word of mouth is the only way of promoting this.
