I fell asleep to “Royal Blood” the album “How Did We Get So Dark?” followed by “Paramore” the album “All We Know is Falling” & finally “Queens of the Stone Age” the album “Villains”

I exercised to “Foo Fighters” the album “Concrete & Gold”

Trump was not accused of sexual harassment at the time this was written.

Wait, there’s something wrong about this.  It seems very narcissistic about every post on this blog.  I guess read what you like?  It seems to be all about me, yet I don’t want to put words in other people’s mouth.

Harvey Weinstein did something absolutely terrible, agreed!  Donnie Trump talked about grabbing women by the genitals & he won the electoral vote?  Nobody was assaulted by Trump?  For me they’re pretty much the same, Weinstein = Trump.  They’ve both helped create a division in the world, & have both taken advantage of different races & countries.  I may not live in America, yet Trump’s idiotic behavior affects other countries as well.  Trump prefers to be called racist than wrong, well they go hand in hand.  I’m not about to defend Harvey in any way, he’s not racist but he is a criminal.

Has anybody ever thought of flat out telling Trump his ancestors were immigrants?  If his ancestors came to America, he’s more than likely European or something else?  Imagine if his laws were the same about Europeans coming to North America way back when?

I think I just lost a large portion of faith in humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, but I watched a good portion of the original series.  What’s with all of the reboots & remakes?  Sounds to me like the writers in Hollywood have ran out of ideas, maybe that’s why?

It’s recently been approved.

Different strokes for different folks!  You can’t please everyone all of the time?

Obviously I don’t like doing album reviews. I prefer to expose you to music you may not have heard & decide for yourself.

The topic is very subjective, the person next to you could have a completely different opinion example, Kim loves country, and I tolerate most of it.  We try very hard not to play our music on the stereo while the other one’s around.  I don’t mind if she plays her country music around the house, & I know loud rock or metal is harsh to most ears.  If I don’t enjoy what she’s playing, I tune it out or listen to my music in here.

Trivium’s new album was released on Friday “The Sin & the Sentence”.  I’d have to agree with singer Matt Heafy, “This is what every Trivium fan has been waiting for” since their 2nd album “Ascendancy”.  “Ascendancy” for me & many others was their “break out” album.  Trivium fans have been waiting for this album since the 2005 release “Ascendancy”.

This is now Trivium’s 8th album.  I’ve been lucky enough to see them 3 times & the 3rd time was a charm.  The first 2 times they dealt with a barrage of technical problems.  The 3rd time I got to see them was in Saskatoon, problem free, great show.  They played THE song by “Iron Maiden” over the PA right before they came out.  Everybody was singing along!  That was unexpected but it really got the crowd ready for the show!

This was on tour for their previous release “Silence in the Snow”.  They have a few albums I don’t ever listen to, so I not going to post any songs from them other than 1 of the songs I attached to the end of the album “Ascendancy”

“Ember to Inferno” was their first release in 2003

“Ascendancy” was released in 2006

“The Crusade” I didn’t like the album, just the instrumental song “The Crusade” released in 2006

“Shogun” was released in 2009.  I have nothing good to say about this album.  I’ve listened to it many times & just can’t enjoy it.  Apparently many say it’s their favourite Trivium album.

“In Waves” was released in 2011

“Vengeance Falls” released in 2013 produced by “Monkey man” David Draiman, singer of “Disturbed”

“Silence in the Snow” was released in 2015

Now their latest album/gem “The Sin & the Sentence” released on Friday, October 20th, 2017

Apparently the singer/1st guitar player/founder, Matt Heafy, is only 31.  He was a teenager when the first 2 albums were released, 17 & 19.

Remember, you are always entitled to your opinion.  If you have this album, let me know what your thoughts are, feedback is always welcome on any topic.  For me this album is near the best in their catalogue.

Worst to first for me is the following.

The Crusade, Shogun, Ember to Inferno, Vengeance Falls, Silence in the Snow, In Waves, The Sin & the Sentence, Ascendancy.

I listen to a TON of Trivium.  After my 3 dislikes, I can listen to any album without skipping a song.

The more you share this, the more readers I get.  No, I’m not profiting from this in any way.
