……………And so it begins.  Our condo does not have a furnace.  In the summer I can blast the air conditioning, in the winter I can turn on the water heat.  We don’t really need the heat.  Our windows all face south.  With the sun shining & the blinds closed, it is +25 Celcius in here by 5:00 pm.  I love the summer, I can make it feel like a walk in beer fridge.  In the winter I have no control over the temperature in here.  The A/C is turned off or it might freeze.  I want nothing to do with the heat!  I can tolerate +23 Celcius, then I just sweat at any temperature above that!

Friday night I was at the Saskatchewan Roughriders game that was decided by the final play of the game.  The Ottawa Redblacks scored on the last play to win the game 33-32.  One of those heartbreaking loses at the very last second of the game.  I’m not much of a fan of our head coach at the moment.  I’ve been skeptical of him this entire year, his 2nd season with the Roughriders.  He came in & immediately changed 40 of 45 players on the roster.  Why?  I couldn’t tell you.  I’m nothing more than a fan.

I got the couch that night, Kim was babysitting for our friends.  Kim & Hannah got the king size bed.

I slept in until 11:20 am.  Kim & Jolene went to collect bottles & cans to recycle for money from Sarcan for Kim’s charity boxing event.  The rest of the day was pretty tame, TV, Netflix, & laundry.

I’m sure today will be us getting ready for the week.  Boiling eggs, make a pitcher of veggie juice, grab a few groceries, bake some fish, more laundry, etc.

IF YOU’RE HERE FOR THE UPDATE, THAT’S ALL THAT I HAVE FOR YOU TODAY.

100 best albums of the 2000s by Rolling Stone.  Nowhere near what I would choose.  Below are 2 of the few I’d have on my list.

HALFLIVES

New band, so I know very little about them.  They released an 8 song album this year.  They’re an independent, female fronted pop/rock group.  Other than that I can’t tell you much.  Here’s a few tracks off of their album “Empty Room”.

I really don’t know much about them.  They’re fairly new.
