Nice!  This site had 9 viewings by people 9 from Canada, Japan, & the USA.  Please keep sharing people!  On Facebook we hit 129.  I can’t tell who is reading this but thank you.  As for who I see reading it on the website, all I see is the country & how many people from that country have viewed it.  If you’ve subscribed with your email I can see that as well.

I don’t want to overload you with links, pick what you want to know about & feel free to skip the other stuff.  The www.youtube.com  links are there for a point of reference if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

Again, let me know if I should keep this about my illness & recovery or if you’d like me to throw the kitchen sink at you like I was before.  This is for you!

Don’t feel as though you have to open every link.

I fell asleep to “Pearl Jam” the album “Ten”, followed by their album “Vitalogy” work up to pee & fell asleep to their album “VS”

I exercised to “Dire Straits” their “Sultans of Swing” greatest hits album.

Weekly exercise total; 1300 crunches, 150 pushups, & 40 back flexes

So in addition to my exercise, I’m now playing “bass” with Corey, his idea to help me out.  We’re choosing easier songs until my left hand is up to speed.  I get very frustrated trying to play guitar.  Before when I learned, I picked it up learned the notes and basic chords & I was good enough to sing & play in front of an audience.  I never really practiced it.  This week I’ve spent at least half an hour to 1 hour practicing.  It’s a love/hate thing for.  I like doing it, but I hate having to practice something I used to do for fun.  My brain knows what to do, my left hand doesn’t seem to care though.

I’m not playing an actual bass, I’m playing the bass line to the song until my fingers get stronger for actual bass strings.  That’s how I taught myself to play real guitar.  I learned bass lines on acoustic guitar to teach Rob how to play actual bass in University.

After posting on Wednesday, I grabbed my guitar again.  Managed to finally “train” my fingers into playing power chords & a few actual chords.  The change of fingering the chords is slow, but I’m sure it will come eventually.

I was getting a bit down but with Corey’s brilliant idea, me being able to do some of my exercises, & baseball starting soon, I’m in a much better mood.  Great call by Corey noticing I was a little stuck.

We’re learning one song at a time.  Corey & I are Foo Fighters fans.  I figured since we both know the song “Learn to Fly” & it’s pretty easy we’ll start there.  I don’t think Corey has ever sang but he said he’s willing to try.  He asked me, a long time ago if I could teach him.  I don’t know what I’d say other than repetition.  I was terrible when I started, but the more I did it, the better I got at it.  I’m pretty sure being in choir in high school helped.

This director is more known for action movies such as “Paycheck”, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “Transformers”, etc.  I’m slightly skeptical about him directing a movie about El Chapo

I was listening to a sports talk show Thursday night.  I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks the Blue Jays are set up for disaster in LF & 1B.  If this is what they’re sticking with everything else needs to be perfect!
