I fell asleep to “Diemonds” the album “Never Wanna Die”, followed by “The Northern Pikes” the album “Snow in June”, & finally “Phillip Phillips” the album “Behind the Light”
Don’t feel as though you need to open every link.
The extent of my week has been rather focused on my sciatic nerve. I saw the chiropractor the other day and a message therapist Thursday evening. It’s not perfect but it’s MUCH better than it was! My chiropractor got the muscle to move quite a bit & at my message therapy appointment Thursday, she could tell.
It’s not perfect but more of a “Hope this can tide you over until the cortisone shot”? It is really nice to have such little pain in my leg for the time being! It still could be 5 weeks or so until an appointment can be made for my MRI.
“There’s no such thing as a stupid question”. I’ve heard that many times over my 37 years & it’s always been true. Never be afraid to ask anyone anything. Obviously I need help from time to time. Here’s an example; we were out for dinner a few weeks ago. I had to use the washroom before we left the restaurant. I asked where it was & I was on my way. I got to the washroom & because I am still quite weak, the door felt as though it was 100lbs. A waitress was walking by so I asked if she could help me with the door. No problem! Sure she’s half the size of me, but much stronger than I.
When I was discharged from the WRC, I could barely lift one of our dinner plates, now I lift 2 or 3 at a time when I’m emptying the dishwasher. Things are getting back to “normal”. The only thing is that “normal” looks a bit different than it used to. There’s no point in me getting frustrated or angry about my situation. What good will that do anyone?
After so much time with certain doctors I realized something. I’m living on borrowed time. These doctors deal with everybody’s medical issues every day, for the 15 minutes I’m there I might as well keep things light & not so serious. When I show up we don’t need to be so serious & wonder what the next pill is I should ween off, let’s have some fun & forget about my cancer for a bit! Can you imagine how a doctor of any kind can get stressed, let alone a doctor dealing with a cancer patient can get?! I’m alive! Don’t be so serious all of the time. I’ll be serious when I ask for help with something & once it’s done, I shall return to being a nut job! (Stick with my strength)

I had issues with 3 movies I had bought from iTunes, so I called their help number & it was FANTASTIC! I called the line for those with disabilities since I’m unable to get to the hardware needed & the assistance was great!
I came across this trailer, & I’m ready to “Geek Out”
New Chris Cornell song
I can’t find it on iTunes but apparently it’s on a movie soundtrack of the same name?

Check out these 25 musical guests on SNL over the years!
Songs I’ve played live. I was never the head honcho in any band. The 3 bands I was in were always 4 equal partners. I just happened to be the singer.
