I’ll have to gradually increase my exercise. 1000 crunches so 200 a day. 300 leg lifts, 60/day. 150 stretching pushups, 30/day. 200 calf raises, 40/day. I haven’t done squats or pushups yet. I would rather wait until my nerve pain is completely gone. We walk, but only in our suite, my foot tingles if I’m standing for too long. So at the moment we’ve hit pause on waking in the parkade.
I’m aiming for 500 squats, pushups, & leg lifts a week & 7000 crunches a week. That’s only 1400 crunches a day. I was doing 1500 a day, I’m sure 1400 isn’t out of the question. I’ll have to increase everything gradually though. I was walking 800 meters with my walker & Kim once a week, I’ll likely have to slowly increase that as well. This nerve pain is almost gone, when it is I’ll get back to reality.
I fell asleep to “Ascot Royals” everything on their 2 albums.
I exercised to “Big Wreck” all of it on shuffle.
Yes, I saw “Ascot Royals” open for “Big Wreck” last night at the casino. AWESOME show. I started listening to “Ascot Royals” last week & they’re AWESOME live as well as recorded.
I’ve never came out of a “Big Wreck” concert disappointed. They’re not hard rock or metal, just straight up rock music, same with “Ascot Royals”. Dave & Liz came with my dad & I. Yes, my dad & I will have to call each other if we’re meeting in public. He’s seen Foo Fighters 3 times & Big Wreck twice & we both get T-Shirts. Can’t be out in public wearing the same shirt……………fashion faux pas!
I think last night was my 12 or 15th time seeing Big Wreck? Their 1st album was released in ’97 I was only 17 & underage to see them in a bar. When I turned 19, they were here 3 or 4 times a year & I never missed a show. They broke up in 2002 after recording their 2nd album. They reunited in 2012, & have released a total of 5 studio albums & a live EP with a cover song.
If “Big Wreck” is in Regina, I’m there.
It was nice to see that I’m not the only person who disapproves of cell phones at a concert. Lead singer, Ian Thornley, had 4 or 5 people in front of him, right at the stage. They all had their smartphones with them taking selfies & videos. Between songs he addressed them. He basically said to please put their phones away because the band sees them & then they “act” instead of playing music for people. “Do my pants make me look weird? This side’s my better side. Gotta smile for the camera, etc.” I guess they missed the announcement before the show? “Here’s a song pre-smart phone” is how he introduced the next tune from their first album released in 1997. The fans put their phones away & everything was good.
You turn off your phone at a movie theater, you smoke outside everywhere. Why is this cell phone thing so hard? We were in the balcony & it wasn’t a problem up there.
It’s here “The Pretty Reckless” video for “Oh my God”
Don’t ask me why? This song has been stuck in my head for quite a while?
