I fell asleep to “Pearl Jam” their first major release “Ten”
I exercised to “My Morning Jacket” the album “Z”
Seeing them live was a totally different experience. They opened for Foo Fighters in Edmonton in 2003.
Veterans from any war or those currently enlisted deserve nothing but the best from the rest of the country. If your living in any country speaking the native language & are free to do as you please, without breaking the law, thank your veterans! I don’t like hearing about any war, but I guess it’s a necessary evil. So a HUGE THANK YOU to those who put their lives on the line to make the rest of us feel safe..
The one lyric that makes me laugh, on the newest release by “Dream Theater” is “…people just don’t have time for music anymore…”. I REALLY like Dream Theater, but why don’t people have time for music anymore? Because a Dream Theater album will be 9 songs all averaging 7-12 minutes long. On this latest release the songs average 4-5 minutes, but there are 34 songs. It takes 3 hours roughly to hear the album front to back! I could be half way to Winnipeg in that time?

A & W took a stand by advertising their meat as having no steroids or antibiotics used in their burgers. Great! Now if the chicken, cow or fish gets sick you either get infected/ill meat or the animal in question is killed for no reason because they can’t sell sick livestock. I’m sure I didn’t get cancer because I was consuming GMOs, if that was the case, why are the majority of people on earth not getting cancer?
I Mother Earth shared it…..
In Flames shared it….
Just trolling around www.youtube.com & found a few interesting Foo Fighters things. Pat Smear & Dave Grohl stalk the deceased David Bowie. LANGUAGE!!!!!
Apparently the best Foo Fighters interview ever.
I hated grunge & metal music when they were all the rage. I was into a few heavier bands when they came out like “I Mother Earth” & “Our Lady Peace”. Now it’s all metal & grunge for me, with a nice sprinkling of other stuff, mostly pop. Everything in moderation for me musically. When Grunge music was the big thing in the ’90s I was listening to “Barenaked Ladies”, “U2”, “Hootie & The Blowfish”, “Micheal Jackson”, etc. & I still do other than “Hootie & The Blowfish. Then I became a big fan of “Queen” & “Foo Fighters” then, slowly I got into the heavier stuff. My dad had some “Queen” when I was younger, I listened to it in the car, wasn’t a huge fan………………….yet!
