Pass this link around to whoever might enjoy it. They don’t have to know me personally. If they read one post & don’t like it, that’s fine.
Let’s get something else out of the way & put it away. I’m what U2 has been looking for, & I let the dogs out! It wasn’t me but it’s about time somebody takes responsibility for these monstrosities!
We watched the following movie Monday night. Bad reviews on iTunes that I totally disagree with. I really liked it! A very good court room drama. I highly recommend it, especially for fans of “Primal Fear”
14 unheard Nirvana songs.
Tremonti’s “Cauterize” album review!
Amy Schumer & cousin are pro gun control!
A different style of “I Sat by the Ocean” by Queens of the Stone Age. I think I prefer the original. I love this album!!!!!!
I like “No Doubt” & “Bush” I’m not choosing sides in this split
Marilyn Manson on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins
Marilyn Manson encourages others to question everything? OK, why are you hiding behind a gimmick Marilyn?
Lemmy (Motorhead) & Tom Araya (Slayer) join movie cast.
Alice in Chains playing a small college show in 1989
Jimmy Fallon plays Donald Trump receiving a call from Obama!
Randy Blythe discussing his memoir of being in prison in the Czech Republic prison for a crime he did not commit. I have the documentary from iTunes. Guilty until proven innocent mostly.
A Pantera reunion wont likely happen. LANGUAGE!
Rock it out blog interview with Albert Hammond Jr.
Miley & her father Billy Ray Cyrus cover Def Leppard with Steele Panther
Sounds like a good cause! I’m sure any amount donated would be welcome.
Corey Taylor finds pop music insulting
Cell phones. One of the first things you see on screen at a movie theater is an announcement to turn your phone off. I think that should be at least stated by any band before anyone preforms, probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal. I had a cell phone before I had cancer. I can’t remember who I was seeing or what city it was in? Security at the door was checking everyone for a phone. First they’d ask, “Do you have a phone? If so does it take photos or videos?” I replied “Yes it does”. “Could you please take it back to your vehicle? Otherwise we’ll keep it.” “Yep, no problem”. I already had my phone turned off at the time, taking it back to the vehicle was fine by me, I had 0 intention of using it. I didn’t get cancer that day nor did I die without my cell phone. I haven’t owned a cell phone since Tuesday, February 5th 2008, but I’m here & I’m fine.
I don’t disagree with someone having a cell phone. It’s a personal choice. If you have one please be responsible with it. There’s a time & a place for them, it’s not in a movie theater, music concert or any other public venue. If it rings or vibrates & you have to take it, maybe excuse yourself from your group & take the call elsewhere.
I kind of like the changes iTunes has made for it’s users. Not iTunes Match, terrible software with the launch of Apple Music. They’ve added influences & similar artists to whatever album/artist you’re looking at, that is in your iTunes library! I like that. If it’s someone I’ve never heard of I’ll preview it.
Home Sharing is quite similar to iTunes Match. I don’t recommend iTunes Match though until they fix whatever they messed up with the launch of their streaming site. We no longer pay Apple $27/year for iTunes Match. Match will stream all of our music in my wife’s library as well as mine, on any device, at least when it’s working properly. We could stream our libraries on her cell in the vehicle, our home stereo, etc. Home Sharing does not do that. I have an iPod Classic, I can’t air play my music with that iPod. Kim can with her phone, but only her iTunes library. If we want to play our iTunes in our vehicle, I have to connect it with a USB cable to our vehicle radio, no big deal. Kim’s cell I’m not sure about? As long as I have my computer on, iTunes open & home sharing on, I can play my library on our home stereo.
I have 5 “My Morning Jacket” albums. I had no clue as to who they were when I saw them in Edmonton in 2003 opening for Foo Fighters. Seeing them live is MUCH better than buying an album with the vocals covered in reverb. Here’s an album song I heard in 2003, then bought the CD at the merchandise booth. Imagine this being played by a group of headbangers!
Songs I like, “Nat King Cole” his voice is really good!!!!!
This first song I don’t own, but you might know it?
My Grandmother would sing this quietly to me when I had trouble sleeping at my grandparents house. I was Irene in this case.
