First of all, IT’S NOT REALITY TV. Do you have 19 kids & counting? Probably not. You might have 5 & thought to yourself “Hey, that’s a lot of kids! Even with 3 my spouse & I were out numbered.” Not this couple, “18 isn’t enough, let’s keep going”! Are they crazy? They can already field 2 baseball teams & have a spare kid in the dugout with 19 kids. STOP………..NOW! Get a new hobby I think the father should pick up golf & the mother should start knitting. Time for a new hobby or birth control!

Finger Eleven tour dates in the USA & Ontario.

I’ve thought about my idea for people spending money on music. I don’t think anything will change unless customers habit’s & label habit’s change. I like digital music & having a preview of what you’re about to spend money on. Maybe digital files don’t sound great to people, fair enough go & by vinyl records or CDs, they’re still there & cassettes are making a come back too. CDs & vinyl can easily be scratched, fact, so take care of them if you want to use them if you’ve put them on your iTunes, iPod or phone. I don’t have the physical space for them & I listen to my iTunes more on the home stereo than I do on my iPod, & I’m fine with digital files.

Apple, pay attention please, an iTunes user has a statement about your service. iTunes is a great idea, in that it’s very convenient. For a song purchase maybe $0.50 for Apple as well as $0.50 for the label & $1.00 for the artist if they choose so? For a full album download $1.00 for the label, $1.00 for Apple & $0.00-$13.00 for the artist, you know, the people doing the grunt work for you? What are you going to do if the artists can’t survive on the money they’re making at the moment? Cancel or diminish the music portion of iTunes? I, personally, am surprised by the amount of new artists signing to a label with their album all over the internet for free & being successful with that process?

If music is free, let’s have everything be free. Groceries BAH I’m not paying for that or anything else ever again! Let us all riot & have whatever we want whenever we want. It’s happening with music, Netflix & other such things. So why not with everything? “I’m not paying so & so for that product! It should be free”! If that’s the case, everybody quit your job, you don’t need it everything is free or stay with your job & watch your paycheck slowly diminish in front of your eyes. Take your job on tour & do it in front of an audience. What? You don’t have the money to go out & do your job in front of people? Oh well, better luck next time, I guess.

Get your music however you want. Only the rich (labels & streaming sites) are getting richer. I don’t think $15 will break you for an album. For all of this to work, almost everyone will have to change the way they think, so it likely wont happen? Before I was diagnosed with cancer, I’d go into HMV & see a rack of CDs priced at 2 for $25 or 3 for $30, sweet deal. If I could find however many, 2 or 3 on the shelf, I’d buy them instantly!

Who on earth gets up before 8:00am on a Sunday? Parents with young children & those who have to work. I’m neither of those. Kim wanted to go out for a run, I wanted to sleep……………..I didn’t win that battle. “10:00pm, we should go to bed, early morning tomorrow” I think we just aged ourselves? 10:00 pm on a Saturday? That’s ridiculous!

I’m sure there won’t be a rock or metal festival on the Canadian prairies (Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba) that’s pretty much a guarantee at this point.

I’ve seen U2 in concert. When they we’re closer to the U2 from the ’80s & ’90s I’m good & I don’t have the cash to spend on that type of show out of province.

I had totally forgot about P.O.D. they were a flash in the pan for me.

http://www.loudwire.com top 100 alternative albums from the ’90s. The ’90s, that’s my music. I started high school in ’93. I was born in 1980 nobody around me in the ’80s listened to ’80s hair metal, so that’s not my thing. In the ’90s I found the music I wanted to hear over & over again. I would take my disc man to school to listen to before school started, listen to it on my bike to & from school & the 5 minutes between classes in the hallways. Then every night I’d fall asleep with my music on quietly in my room.

Sorry. I got a little excited there.

Scott Weiland still “technically” a member of “Art of Anarchy”

Paul McCartney & Dave Grohl play “I saw her Standing There”

When I was actually battling cancer in the Pasqua hospital having my first of 7 cortisone shots. Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel announced a tour that included Saskatoon, & I really wanted to go, then I heard the price of the tickets & I was positive I didn’t want to go. 2+ hour drive with two ticket each priced at $350 a piece! NO! I don’t care who you are, I’m not paying that amount to see anyone.
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/art-garfunkel-lashes-out-at-paul-simon-in-new-interview-20150524#ixzz3b5K11InG Yes, I like Simon & Garfunkel, I own a 3 CD box set. I bought it in 1997 while in grade 11.

Classic rock’s tracks of the week.

I agree Corey Taylor (Slipknot & Stone Sour vocalist) Fall Out Boy are not about to “Save Rock n’ Roll”. I wouldn’t consider them a rock group at all. They are a decent pop band though, for me anyways. They released an album in 2013 called “Save Rock n’ Roll”.

You never want to hear or see this at any concert!

Anybody still listen to “Dragon Force”? They have a DVD coming out. They got old for me after the second listen of their 1st album “Look at me I can play a billion notes in 3:30 minutes”. Good for you, you just keep doing your thing. Talented but every song sounded like a competition to fit more notes into the next song?

Songs I like. “Halestorm” 3 studio albums, 2 EPs each have 5 cover songs & 1 live album.

I’m not really a fan of their cover songs, maybe if they were live recordings?
