Hard rock fans, buy this “Red Dragon” album by Room 333, which is compared to “La Gargola” by Chevelle! https://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/red-dragon/id917967693

Ah man? “Bullet for my Valentine” announce new bassist, song, & album

“Lamb of God” new single. For “Lamb of God” fans this sounds very promising! At least to me I guess?

June & July can’t come fast enough for me music wise! June has 4 albums I’ve pre-ordered on iTunes & July has Lamb of God. June has the following…

Then “Lamb of God” in July. I’m still hooked on a few others. “My Morning Jacket” albums are far less superior than seeing them live, same with the “Headstones”!

Then there will be releases from the following artists I assume Into Eternity, Third Ion, Stone Temple Pilots, Finger Eleven, Tool, Megadeth, & likely more I’m forgetting?
Taylor Swift talks feminism, misogyny in Maxim. If you had told me I’d like a Taylor Swift album before her “1989” album was released, I would have laughed in your face!
May 21st at The Exchange on the Club side sounds really good.

I don’t know if I’d even attempted going to Lollapalooza 2015 if I was near by, other than to see Paul McCartney & Sam Smith

I don’t own his album I’d likely buy it & never listen to it after 3 or 4 listens.
Hey a car I can drive with no depth perception!!!!
Interview with Mikael Akerfeldt of “Opeth”. 50 minutes long but very interesting. SOME LANGUAGE, WARNING!!!

The Rock It Out Blog shared Friday’s episode again. What has American Idol left behind as a legacy? For me it would be the success of Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood & maybe Scotty McCreery. Out of those 4 Kelly Clarkson is the only one I listen to or own, & not every album is good. My favourite singers likely wouldn’t make it to the top 40. Not everyone wants to hear a perfect singer. I don’t know that these singers would make it?

OK, maybe Myles Kennedy of “Alter Bridge” & Maynard James Keenan of “Tool”?
WHAT? That’s desperation right there from Billy Corgan’s Smashing Pumpkins going on tour with Marilyn Manson! Funny quotes from their press conference.
OK, Why? Yes I’ve played it & other Foo Fighters songs live none of them live up to the originals though. Have at it I guess, good way to learn simple guitar.

I saw Metallica whining about how they are broke because of free music sites & iTunes. I get that. In the 2004 documentary “Some Kind of Monster”, drummer Lars Ulrich sold one of the paintings in his art collection for how much you ask? $3.000.000+ “common people” don’t have one item worth that amount or several items put together worth that amount. Instead of complaining about being broke maybe thank your fans for the fact you get to play music for your career & have the opportunity to live with anything worth that amount of money. There are likely more people living pay check to pay check, if they are lucky enough to have a job. I had brain cancer, I’ll likely have a wheelchair & a walker for the rest of my life & financially Kim & I are keeping our head above water. When I turn 65 I stop getting disability checks. So we may have to scale back on a few things, no big deal. At the moment we have investments for the future. Kim makes enough to put money away for both of our investments each month while paying off debt, car payments, mortgage & condo fees. Do I have $3.000.000+ to spend on art. No! Do I need it? No! It’s a desire for Lars, not a necessity. You’re welcome, I bought your documentary & 2 or 3 CDs.

This is what I meant by “Common People”

New video from “Silverball” by Barenaked Ladies

“Soungarden” photo book being released
Eddie Vedder of “Pearl Jam” on David Letterman last night!!!!

I was watching the afternoon baseball game in Toronto on Monday & realized I was not consuming the typical baseball food? I was eating carrots & drinking water? Aren’t you supposed to eat a hot dog & nachos with a beer? Eating healthy kinda sucks……………blows………………….it’s just not fun! On the upside the Jays won snapping a 5 game losing streak. This years newly acquired 3rd baseman, Josh Donaldson spoke up publically about the team & I agree! What he said was needed & is the reason they pursued him in the off season. “This is not the ‘try’ league. This is the ‘get it done’ league”

Songs I like. “Grady” Big Sugar broke up for a bit, this is what singer Gordie Johnson did.

Yes, I have just the first CD. According to iTunes they released 4 albums in total.
