It’s a music blog so whoever likes it can subscribe!
I’m going to leave this first paragraph until I have 100 subscribers
PLEASE HELP ME?
PLEASE share this link & pass it around to those that might enjoy it. Subscribe from a desktop or laptop computer with your email where it says “follow”. Then you will receive a confirmation email that I don’t know what it says. Follow the instructions. After that you’ll receive each post in your email inbox on any device. Let’s get some more people on board? http://www.amillionmilesawayblog.com Don’t feel as though you need to click on every link. I’ll do this so nobody else has to. I’m on facebook & email only. I’ve found people on face book that I’ve lost track of over the years, everybody has an email address for social media sites, might as well us it for this blog. I have no intention of putting this on twitter, instagram, facebook, etc. it’s an old fashion website. Up there are instructions on how to subscribe. I’m at 39 subscribers so all 39 of you please help me out?
Even though you subscribe to the blog I always recommend coming to the site to read it in case someone comments on a topic. Comments are always welcomed. If you’re using “Google Chrome” as a web browser on a PC the http://www.youtube.com links will be open to show you the title, artist & a still photo of the video. Mac computers I know nothing about
Hard rock fans, buy this “Red Dragon” album by Room 333, which is compared to “La Gargola” by Chevelle!
REALLY! “Alice in Chains” tribute band of cartoon cats!!
I watched “Last Man on Earth” too, I don’t think it will pan out either but it sure ticked Sara Evans off!
New Halestorm tune on Monday! YIPEE!
^^I’ve seen females front a band but she plays guitar as well. I haven’t seen that since Joan Jett or Chrissie Hynde in The Pretenders.
Gene Simmons is quite vocal about “rock” bands that shouldn’t use backing tracks or samples. Didn’t Kiss do that on a “live” album? I thought he said rock music is dead a few months ago in 2014? Which is it Gene? I guess he means it’s OK for KISS to do it, but nobody else? Don’t do what you do, do as I say?
Only 5 that’s a tough one! Foo Fighters, Big Wreck, Stone Sour, Muse, Tool, & many more?
2 Tremonti albums HELLO!
Gene Simmons teaming up with WWE studios to produce horror movies
Nirvana tribute album to be released for record store day. Alas I live in Canada…………..there is no record store day here that I know of?
Old news about global album release day, but here’s a reminder.
Yes, I like The Agonist quite a bit, probably music for metal fans only.
From their 1st album in 2007. I bought this on CD
I like Rush, post 1985 Rush, & I hear more nay sayers in reference to Rush than I do positive comments towards them that’s fine I get it. I was a Rush hater until last year or 2013. Some music I just don’t listen to for years, then I’ll listen to it once & say to myself “What is wrong with you/me??? This is really good”
FYI-Geddy Lee of Rush plays bass on this song.
Blur is releasing a new album “WOO HOO”
I wasn’t a “Blur” fan or an “Oasis” fan in the ’90s. Now I don’t listen to “Blur” at all, but I’m in with “Oasis” always liked them. “Blur” or “Gorillaz” no thanks. “Gorillaz” have the same guy on lead vocals as “Blur”. Blur & Oasis would bicker & argue publically in the ’90s, they were mortal enemies.
“Duran Duran” team up with former “Red Hot Chili Pepper” guitarist John Frusciante
See what happens when the salesman tells customers the truth about guns. “Responsible” gun owners in the 2nd video. WARNING LANGUAGE!!!
Why did Piers Morgan quit for having a strong opinion against gun rights in the USA?
Comic sums it up. WARNING LANGUAGE!!!
I guess at some point you just shut up since others don’t want to hear the facts? “You Can’t Always get what you want”
Classic Rock’s tracks of the week.
This guy is in there, really good acoustic album
Apple just seems to make mistakes & more mistakes since Steve Jobs died. He’s a smart guy but not a great person to work with from what I’ve seen in documentaries about him, I have no first hand evidence of this though.
Ian Thornley of Big Wreck in acoustic guitar shop. I would really like him to release an acoustic album!
Oh, “Undateable” how I laugh hysterically at this show
What they meant to say was A-Roid.

The guy that left “One Direction” speaks, tell your kids.
Ringo Starr’s life in 20 solo songs
This what could potentially happen when the drummer writes a song.
I think what ever his name is should learn an instrument with the kids. Cool video, bad song.
The Rise & Fall of Tower Records by Collin Hanks
Gather ’round kids. More “One Direction” news. I’ve never heard their music & I don’t need to.
Ben Stiller’s garage band set’s release date for their album
More proof that I’m old. I remember seeing “A Perfect Circle” in 2000 on their 1st tour at a festival in Saskatoon!
Songs I like. “Cream”
There’s a Foo Fighters cover of “I Feel Free” that I have on CD just can’t find it online. It’s exactly like the original.
