Randy interview on the upcoming “Lamb of God” album

It’s called “life”, bad things happen to everyone, it could always be worse than divorce. It’s more about how someone deals with the situation & what they take away from the situation.

Mark Tremonti’s 2nd solo album is mixed as of December 31st.

I’m supposed to look forward to new Papa Roach and Marilyn Manson? No thank you.

I like “Fall Out Boy”, sue me.

I hope this means the new album by Halestorm will be released January 13th

Paramore, honestly I didn’t listen to them until a few months ago. My brother & his friend Elka got me into them. I think they saw them in Calgary years ago opening for No Doubt? I got their 2nd album of 4 in total, listened to it once and was instantly hooked went on to get the other 3 albums ASAP. Sure they have a few songs I’m not big on, but overall far more appealing songs to me. A pop/punk group sort of, with a front woman.

no they aren’t a heavy band.

I agree with Kimmel! Bono’s sum up of 2014.

Rob Zombie set to release an album. Looks like a bunch of older material compiled on a new album.

Change coming for the Rock It Out Blog

New rules on illegal downloading.

Spotify, Google Play, Pandora Radio, etc. I think should all be fine. You pay for a subscription so I don’t see a problem there. Torrents and News Groups could be totally different though. I use iTunes and purchase physical copies of blu-rays. Nothing will be on Netflix forever and I can’t say for certain that I like purchasing movies and such on iTunes. I also have no plan on keeping a subscription to a streaming site like Netflix or any music streaming site, just not for me. If you want to I’m OK with that. I like to be reassured I’ll have the music, TV and movies for the rest of my life. I’m not sure that streaming sites will be around when I’m 70+. If they go down, poof, there goes my stuff. That’s just how I see things.

Why did this turn into a music blog? Because “music is a BIG ^%$#@&*^* DEAL”-Dave Grohl
