“SUNDAY MORNING”

I hate the idea of free music. If you’re in a band just starting out, you had better be rich. Once you attain a level of success & a comfortable lifestyle being a musician. Then who cares, make it your own price. You aren’t going to play every song off of every album each day on every tour!

Watch for the (F-Bombs). I agree with this completely! Not because it’s Dave Grohl, it could be anybody! Exactly why I refuse to pay for satellite radio. Kim and I will take our iPods which are already paid for, & have the music we want to hear on it! You know, the music we’ve paid for!!!

How Taylor Swift gets paid. She makes enough at her shows to have her music on Spotify!
http://www.buzzfeed.com/kelleydunlap/how-does-taylor-swift-make-her-money I’m not a HUGE country music fan & as far as I know she’s never been to Regina. I like her latest album “1989” it’s definitely a pop album. But I can’t financially support her unless she’s in a town near Regina! Like Saskatoon 2.5 hours away, Calgary, Alberta 7 hours away, or Winnipeg, Manitoba 6 hours away & I’d likely sit through mostly a concert filled with country music? What do I think of free music, from any group? I hate it, with a passion! At the moment though there is no way to pay the struggling artist for their craft. CDs in stores or iTunes! Nobody is making money on recorded music other than the label & the manager!

Finger Eleven has been in Nashville for 10 days and almost have half the album done. Big hit from their previous/5th album. For me their last album was a step up from their 4th, but nothing like the first 3.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KTk91iHZUU Yes, I’ve played this song live when I was singing/playing guitar with a HUGE Finger Eleven fan, my brother.

This 2015 Download Festival looks like it could be a good one! Too bad I live in the middle of nowhere.

How do you know Tool’s in the studio? Multiple photos and older music videos being shared on their facebook page!

Plenty more I could show you, but I think Tool fans are craving a new album not

Slash hasn’t had a drink since 2006. When he landed in Dublin U2 didn’t know this and left him a case of Guinness as a welcoming gift.

One way to fix this. Shut down the streaming music sites, put it all on iTunes and have the artist(s) set the price from $0 – $20

And here goes Neil Young on a GMO rant, but he’s how old and has probably been ingesting for a few decades, but “Oh if Neil Young doesn’t want them, then I don’t”. That’s the equivalent of saying “Neil Young jumped off a bridge and says it’s GREAT! I’ll give it a try!!!:

Guns n’ Roses book to be made into feature film. They also said that about “The Dirt”, Motley Crue’s book that I read in 2007, and I’m still waiting.

Why did this turn into a music blog? Because “music is a BIG @#$%#$& deal”-Dave Grohl
