Let’s get something straight. Whoever is calling area code 306 to run a virus scan on a computer from area code 519 just stop. It’s been well documented on the news that it’s a scam. Someone accidentally called the CTV news to “fix” a computer, you tell me my IP address in person. Come to my door and figure out what my IP address is and “fix” whatever needs to be “fixed”. Until then, please stop calling we all know. Do not call me at anytime, especially at 8:30 am like yesterday! Deal?
Get over it Pete, it’s one farewell tour & then you’re done/retired forever

I gotta say the new Taylor Swift album “1989” is really good! It’s a pop album. I wouldn’t consider any of it remotely similar to country music. I’ve listened to it 2 or 3 times already. I never thought I’d ever enjoy a Taylor Swift album? I’m hooked though.

So many great albums this year & likely next year with Tool, Muse & Queens of the Stone Age both in the studio. DFA1979, Royal Blood, Ed Sheeran, Big Wreck, Foo Fighters, Chromeo, etc. I’m still listening to 2013’s (…Like Clockwork) by Queens of the Stone Age!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ejeEBlDESc They covered “Billie Jean” this year, just can’t find it on youtube?
This album by Obadiah Parker on iTunes, “Billie Jean” by Micheal Jackson & “Black Hole Sun” by Soundgarden!

I made the “mistake” in 2002 calling “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica from the “Black” album released in ’91 old. At Beerfest, 500 people & 1 guy comes up to me looking for a fight. Because that’s not old Metallica? 11 years doesn’t make it old? Did you want them to keep releasing stuff like “Kill ’em All” from 1983? Live’s “Lightning Crashes” was released in ’94 and on Much More Retro in 2000. 6 years but that’s not old?! I don’t know the reasoning behind the kids anger, & I don’t really need to. That incident was 12 years ago & I’ll likely never see that person again. Really it was worth trying to start a fight over?

Three different versions of the same song, yes I like each version.
I think there’s still room for the Kinks in the musical landscape?

Why “Royal Blood” wont win a deserving award.

I don’t care if it’s a simple song, if it is in some weird time signature, difficult to play, 8 billion notes in 4 minutes, the genre, a high note, a solo from whatever instrument, etc. None of that will necessarily improve the song. If I find it catchy, that’s all I need. I still like this song. I don’t listen to radio, so this isn’t over played for me.
OK peeps, I’ll be offline most of the weekend starting today. I’ll check my email & facebook once a day probably. Halloween, multiple birthdays, family in town, etc. Busy weekend!
