I try not to notice it. I’m not a fan of background music. That being said it’s very loud at a football game. Sounds as though there’s a speaker pointing right down the isle. I don’t think we pay for the music played at the games. It’s free just like your vehicle’s AM or FM radio. Those choosing the music need to remember that it’s impossible to please everyone in a 33,000+ stadium. Let the players choose what they want to hear or just play country music? Country music seems to be the “in” thing now. If the players don’t care, plat more country and you’ll please the majority of fans, like 95% of them.
I’m not big into country music. It seems that most people are though. I don’t expect to hear metal or hard rock in a stadium, that likely be offensive to a majority of people, and I get it. All I can say is, I’m glad they’ve stopped playing this song from 1987 and replaced it with a song from last year.
