In Flames guitarists play riffs from the upcoming album
Orange Goblin, never heard of them but there’s a TON of albums on iTunes, if you like metal/hard rock.
Can’t say I’m a fan of AC/DC but I know others are, here you go!
Foo Fighters “Sonic Highways” trailer and track listing for the album “Sonic Highways”. I can’t wait for this album! If you like FF circle November 10th on your calender or put a reminder on your phone!
I don’t think anyone would be shocked by the meth charge, maybe the other charge though? Impersonator should have re thought his plan I think?
They’re going to rush this kid to the majors and possibly ruin him, but next year you have 3/5 of the starting pitchers or 4/5 if this kid works out.
Chevelle, get it now on iTunes or stores.
Genesis to release 3 disc set
Harsh words from Henry Rollins about Robin Williams suicide.
Sounds like he’s coming to the big league.
This is the other album I’m all giddy about!

So why do I listen to metal? A few reasons. I find it very compatible with classical music. There aren’t many rock groups out there now, and “Chemical Horizon” the rock band I was in when I was struck with cancer, played quite a few times at the Exchange. It was difficult to find rock bands to play a show with, lots of groups were playing straight up metal.
We were influenced by other local groups who played at the Exchange, and I quickly became a casual metal fan. I used to be very opposed to metal, like pretty much everyone else. I wasn’t listening to any big name grunge bands in the ’90s, I was listening to “Hootie & The Blowfish” and “Barenaked Ladies” and other acoustic music or U2, then I was hooked on I Mother Earth’s Alt rock album from ’96 “Scenery & Fish” at the time that was the heaviest music I listened to. My brother and I would blast that album in the kitchen while doing the dishes. Everytime we did, my mother would yell at us from the living room to turn it down, please.
This was my intro to rock music, then I quickly became a fan of “The Matthew Good Band”, “The Tea Party” and “Foo Fighters”. I went backwards and bought the CDs from the grunge explosion in Seattle. But not Soungarden until I met Corey McDonald in SIAST. He said to me, “Check out Soundgarden. Not the ‘Superunknown’ album, the ‘Badmotorfinger’ album”. So I did, I went backwards from 2002 to the early ’90s.
I don’t just listen to metal & hard rock though!
Why did this turn into a music blog? Because “music is a BIG @#$%#$& deal”-Dave Grohl
