What did I learn from AC/DC? You can make the same song multiple times to be successful and have 1 big hit song, “Thunderstruck” to live on for decades.

18th place out of 164 participents in the CFL page I’ve joined on face book.

Zakk Wylde, recently retired guitar player, for Ozzy Osbourne! Yes, I saw Ozzy in Saskatoon with James & Sherry. Honestly I don’t listen to Zakk, Ozzy or Black Label Society much. I’ve sort of grown out of them? I do have 2 albums of Zakk Wylde and 2 of Black Label Society’s albums. Hangover Music Vol.6 is the only album of BLS I listen to, all acoustic. The two by Zakk Wylde I put on every now and then. Mostly “Book of Shadows” all acoustic as well.

BLS.

That concludes most of my iTunes library. “Big Wreck” and “Foo Fighters” are always my prefered musical acts. I can’t wait for November 10th, the release date for “Sonic Highways” by Foo Fighters! This small portion sounds “Epic” to me.

I attend Saskatchewan Roughrider home games. Started going with my James Grandparents at a young age. Season ticket seats. I now go with my parents. I’ve never enjoyed the music at the games. I don’t need to either. I’m not a fan of background music anyways. That being said I hear it, and think “OK, why?” They play a variety of music to try and please everyone. I don’t expect them to play metal music ever, or hard rock. I think if they just played country music it may appeal to 90% of the crowd. Seems as though country music is the in thing at the moment? My mother can tolerate it and enjoys some of it, I’m the same way, it’s not my prefered type of music or my father’s. They have to play something though, you can’t just have dead air. So I think they should either play country tunes or stuff the players enjoy. 7/8 players interviewed by TSN said this is the last song they listen to before they hit the field..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkADj0TPrJA I like Phil Collins, maybe go with this if that’s what the players want. I really don’t care what they play. It’s background music. I’m more focussed on the game, not the music. If I’m listening to music I’ll focus on it. So what are your thoughts on music at a sporting event, restaurant, wedding or any other public event with background music?

Why did this turn into a music blog? Because “music is a BIG @#$%#$& deal”-Dave Grohl
“Complaining won’t solve anything. If you want something done your way, just do it yourself!”
“Don’t try to please everyone, it CAN’T happen”
“Learn something from your mistakes and don’t do them again”
“I feel good about the good things and bad about the bad things”-David Eric Grohl
