You can preorder the new “Tea Party” album on iTunes, release date is set for September 8th. I’m a casual Tea Party fan, I’ll wait until the full album is released. You do get one song when you preorder.
I’ve never been a KISS fan, and even less of a Gene Simmons fan, since I watched his “reality” show, for me it was like watching a vehicle collision. You don’t want to look, but you can’t take your eyes off of it. He can do his thing and I’ll be way over here doing something completely different.
5 problems music can create. Yes, I’m all but deaf in my right ear. Have been since I started going to loud rock or metal shows. I tried ear plugs and would quickly take them out after 2 or 3 songs. Everything sounded muffled when I’d have ear plugs in. I did use the sound cancelling headphones at work, running a press though.
I watched as much “Shark Week” as possible last week! It only happens once a year, which makes it a HUGE deal! It’s like Christmas in August! I watch that and say to myself “Bah, I’m never going into the sea or ocean. At the moment, I can’t even swim!
I never took swimming lessons, neither did my brother. Dad used to play water polo, so he taught both of us. My mother’s parents moved into a condo before my brother was born. It had an indoor pool, that’s where we learned. Either there or the lake.
Thursday was our highlight of the week day! Kim has had trouble getting our 2009 Santa Fe to start? We took it to Micro Tune and they couldn’t find anything and not have it start on the first try. Kim picked it up later that day and all was fine…………….until last night. We went to my parents house so Kim could help my dad put assemble the new shed. When we went to leave, our vehicle wouldn’t start. I think Kim tried about 8 or 9 times. It would turn over but not fire. After she tried, she got my dad to take a look. She opened the hood, dad told her to try, after not doing anything to the engine and just wanted to see if he could find the problem, and it started first try.
I went to the Roughrider game Saturday night after 2 or 3 rain storms in their area. The clouds looked as though it might rain. Dad brought along a few rain ponchos. We sat through the first quarter, sweating. After that, the sun went down, the clouds came back and there was a light breeze. Perfect weather for a football game, not too hot or cold.
I get pushed in my wheelchair up two ramps to our section. Then I go up about 8-10 stairs and our seats are right in front of us, seats 1, 2 and 3. My father helps me with the stairs and few steps to our seats, and says he notices improvements with my balance!
My mother doesn’t want to sit in the rain, she has no feeling in her left foot or leg so she doesn’t move very fast. I don’t move very fast either, but I don’t really care if I get wet. I get wet when I unload the dishwasher, no biggie.
Kim & I don’t use our juicer anymore, it became very expensive to make juice since it would throw out so much garbage. We now use a Vitamix blender, that I use to make fruit or vegetable juice in. I needed help with the juicer. I’m not strong enough to push the vegetables down into the juicer, no problem with the new blender though.
