Pearl Jam’s reason for covering “Let it Go”
Groom & Groomsmen dance to Beyonce, Destiny’s Child and Backstreet Boys. HILARIOUS!
I own 5 of the CDs, “S/T”, “Rated R”, “Songs for the Deaf”, “Lullabies to Paralyze” and a live greatest hits CD called “Over the Years & Through the Woods”. I’ve got “Era Vulgaris” and the most recent release “…like Clockwork”.
For me “Era Vulgaris” get’s a pass, not a fan of it in the least, all of the other albums are good and may have 1 or 2 songs not up to par for me. I’ll give you 1 song from each album that have been released in the order that I mentioned, just not the greatest hits album. They aren’t metal, but weird rock. They call it “dessert rock”?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s88r_q7oufE 2002 This was my introduction to them, because Dave Grohl played drums on the entire album.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69e8oa85F3g 2005 they had this following song as their first single
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHDaKtx6bGY The only half decent song on “Era Vulgaris” late 2007
And now the most recent release that I can’t seem to get enough of. Dave Grohl played drums on the entire album again and multiple musicians played on different songs, Elton John, their old bass player (Nick Olivery), Trent Reznor (Mr. Nine inch Nails), and maybe a few more?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21pJ2m45P0I This isn’t really a singles album. It’s a full album to listen to or one you might just pass on all together. I found that with each album, in the beginning, that the more I listen to whatever album, the more I’d like. Of course the exception of “Era Vulgaris”
“Complaining won’t solve anything. If you want something done your way, just do it yourself!”
“Don’t try to please everyone, it CAN’T happen”
“Learn something from your mistakes and don’t do them again”
“I feel good about the good things and bad about the bad things”-David Eric Grohl
