Not LIV Corey! Rob got me a T-Shirt when he saw Live way back in the day. I wore it to SIAST and the peanut gallery, Corey McDonald, chimes in “Rob got ripped of! Your shirt says Liv , not Live!” Badumb ching! “No that’s Steven Tyer’s daughter” Corey and I have a very similar sense of humour. Great guy to have around like the rest of my friends. We just need Timothy Wong, Rob Wirtz and Rydell to move they’re family’s from Alberta into Regina. Chris & Carla back in Regina from Albania and oh everyone else to move back here from whatever province or country they’re in!
Most of you know about Live, you’ve probably know if you like them or not? They made me feel so old in 2000 when I saw this video on Much More Retro! I’m good until you hit the word “Retro”. My reaction was “That’s not retro it was just released” in ’94?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsJ4O-nSveg This entire album still holds up for me! I listen to it quite often!
I bought the “Birds of Prey” album and after 1 listen I was all “No, not this one” I do own the CDs of “Throwing Copper” 1994, “Secret Samadhi” 1997, “The Distance to Here” 1999, “V” 2001, “Songs From Black Mountain” 2006 and “Birds of Prey” 2003 ( not on my iTunes or iPod). I don’t have their first album though “Mental Jewelery” or anything that may have been released after these albums. Yep all on CD! I have a HUGE CD collection of around 600 that aren’t all on my computer. Then at some point early last year it was all about iTunes. $232 in iTunes gift cards for Christmas vanished Christmas day in 3 or so hours!
