I’m good for R.E.M. One album “Monster” is more than I need.
Can I book Big Wreck, Tool, Muse, Alter Bridge and Foo Fighters for $10 to play in my parents back yard and charge others $50? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!! (Shh! I haven’t told them yet)
Here’s a review of 2 albums that were released on Tuesday. Done by the Rock It Out Blog. I’m considering purchasing the new Coldplay. I really liked the first 2 albums. The Black Keys just don’t do anything for me.
Any Neil Young fans out there? I know you’re out there and I count myself as well! Thank you Rock It Out Blog!
Jack White fans?
June will be an expensive month for me. Big Wreck, Ed Sheeran and Linkin Park. Then Foo Fighters and In Flames in the fall!
Mainly the “Jetpack Soundtrack” album recommended by the band “Clutch” and Oh, my do I like Clutch! I believe they have 5 albums out and one EP on iTunes. So far, I would only recommend the “Jetpack Soundtrack” album, but I only have 2 albums thus far. So here’s a sampling of songs on the “Jetpack Soundtrack” released earlier this year.
I have the album “Destruction Manual” as well but I wouldn’t recommend that album.
Yes, I have an issue with iTunes and yes I said music on iTunes should be profitable for the artist. Instead of Apple setting the price, let the musicians set a price under $22.50? Still cheaper for the consumer to purchase rather than going out to a store and buying the CD or vinyl album.
Some artists might say “Free, we’ve made our millions! Thank you!” some newer artist or band might say $22.50 that wont break the camel’s back. Otherwise how will they maintain their lifestyle by going into the music industry? Why do you pay for your groceries? A. You need them B. The store and farmer get a cut. You don’t have a problem with that, so why should music be any different? So yes something with the music industry needs to change, in my opinion. At the moment I’m glad not to be a preforming musician trying to be well known.
As for my weight, it’s just a number on a scale. I’m lighter than I was going into the hospital, but my T-Shirts don’t fit? A scale can’t tell me when my T-Shirts will fit, so I don’t care what I weigh, when my clothes fit me that’ll be good enough for me!
