Led Zepplin aren’t making a return to the music scene.
Great! Sony cassette holds 64,750,000 songs and costs $9,305 Don’t know who’d listen to that much music on a casette worth that much. It’s certainly not going to be me, and I listen to a lot of music!
For those not watching Jimmy Fallon. Monday night you may want to set your DVR. Neil Young and Jack White will be on the show.
Jonny Lang, for me he seems to get better with each album, most people want whatever the previous album sounded like! It’s possible to evolve as a musician while maintaining the original idea. Radiohead took this way too far with the release of their 4th album “Kid A”. Completely different to me, WAY TO FAR from the first 3 albums that were better with each release. Jonny Lang is doing it right, IMO. Same style with improvement on each album. I heard about him on his second release and bought the CD ASAP. Here’s a song the 5 albums I have by him, in order.
“Lie to me” released in 1997 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tigVYfHVmQ
“Wander this World” released in 1998. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn560Wesh-4
“Long Time Coming” released in 2003. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkDGIC8hnmc Youtube is being difficult this evening. That’s why this is a lyric video, sorry.
“Turn Around” released in 2006. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4vo4rOgcT4
“Fight for my Soul” released in 2013. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pzo0dezaGh0
Country/Blues/Pop music. This isn’t my usual go to music, I’ll admit that. My problem with most straight up country artist is that some of them have that terrible country twang. That drives me crazy!
