To be fair, I haven’t listened to them since the summer of ’97 and I only have their first two CDs. “Up” released in ’95 and “Play” released in ’97. I saw them live a few times. A lot of traditional Newfoundland music. Fun at the time, but I’ve sort of grown out of them. They were quite popular in Canada when they were a new group. The last time I listened to them was in Newfoundland on a whale watching trip while my high school choir was there for a 500 year celebration. Tons of fun for most of us, some turned green and sat down while hovering over a garbage can. I’m glad I didn’t get sea sick…. Both from the album “Up” Both from “Play”

Lot’s of people live in the past, that’s AOK with me, I want to not have 0 responsibility, and all of the stuff that comes with being in high school or elementary school as well. I live in the moment now. I can’t go back and fix my mistakes and I can’t tell what tomorrow will bring. So I don’t want to worry about the past or the future! I’ll live in the now and not worry about my mistakes yesterday or tomorrow. As long as my family and friends are happy, I don’t need to worry about anything else!

Example-I wanted out of high school within the first few days of being there. There’s a photo in my ’98 yearbook, the year I graduated, and I have this HUGE stupid smile on my face at the after grad party. Why? Because I was tired of dealing with verbal abuse, I couldn’t wait to get out of there! I can’t change that now, so why waste my time worrying about it?

I had no intention of going to the 10 year reunion either in 2008. I had a good excuse for not going, I was in the hospital, if I wasn’t, I’d have just flat out said “NO” and leave it at that. I wasn’t worried about the reunion at all. I had no intention of going. I met some great people and others I had no intention of ever speaking to again. The few people that bullied me have apologized. The others I don’t know or care if I ever find them.

Complaining won’t solve anything. If you want something done your way, just do it yourse
