DANIEL LANOIS

Wednesday, March 19th 2014

Yes, it’s 6:45am, I had to get out of bed at 5:55 since my pee cans were used already, 2 of them.  I figured there wasn’t much point in going back to bed for an hour? Yes, pecans not puhcahns as my Grandpa would say.

Anyways, Daniel Lanois, you don’t know him?  He’s the producer from Quebec that produced most of U2’s biggest albums.  Daniel Lanois & Brian Eno produced “The Unforgettable Fire”, Lanois produced “The Joshua Tree”, and “Achtung Baby”.  Also the self titled Robbie Robertson album.

I have his album “Acadie” it’s an album you’ll hate or love,  Here’s some of the music from his album and songs he’s produced…

Yes, I’m a HUGE U2 fan!  “Achtung Baby” and “The Joshua Tree” I can listen to all the way through and not miss a song, 1-done!  I enjoy every album up to and including “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb”.  They should have quit recording new stuff and just toured after that album I.M.O.  U2 was one of the reasons Timothy and I became BFF!
