I like them but rarely listen to them. For me, I prefer the earlier albums with Ozzy as the singer!
This is the only song I played and made Rydell sing in university. He did the solo guitar part though, I’ve never been a fast guitar player. Rhythm and rhythm guitar only.
Even my mother went through a Black Sabbath phase before I was born! Now she tells me I listen to garbage music. It’s probably her fault I listen to metal? My mom has a cool side though, it just rarely pops up! Haha!
I was close to being like Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath. The doctor said worst case scenario, I’d lose the tip of my thumb, but it’s fine. Tony Iommi is the guitarist for Black Sabbath. His last day at work before becoming a guitar player. He cut the tip off of his 4 fingers working in a metal factory, his right hand since he’s a left handed guitar player. His hand that is used on the fretboard to form the chords and notes. He tried putting leather tips on his fingers and a few other things, but nothing felt right to him so he didn’t use anything, just his chopped off finger tips. Now Black Sabbath are considered as one of the groups that started metal music. Gene Simmons from KISS will say it was all Gene’s doing. He takes credit for everything and thinks only of himself, I don’t have anything polite to say about Gene. Other than his kids are cool, and his wife is Canadian, born in the Maritimes and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
