IT WAS A MONDAY

Monday, January 28th

Yeah, Kim and I are to old for this partying stuff!  We weren’t hungover yesterday or today, just very tired still today.  I finally got my butt out of bed at 10 or 10:30 this morning it’s almost 7pm now and I’m still not awake.  Mitch was a mess when he popped by last night, Shayne stopped by while Mitch was here.  Shayne had a bag of buns with him, I think that was the first thing Mitch had eaten yesterday?  At 8pm!

I had no desire to do anything today, thank goodness I don’t work!  This week may be a bit of a gong show! Absolutely nothing today, workout tomorrow morning, cribbage at 1pm, then something for exercise in the afternoon.  Wednesday one work out in the morning (my real bday), Thursday we have Kim’s aunt’s funeral/memorial and Friday 2 work outs at minimum.

We were all having fun Saturday, then woke up Sunday and got word that Kim’s Aunt Ardith had passed away . Crappy news to wake up to!  She was only 75, far to young!  Since Kim and I have been married she has lost 3 family members.  Her uncles Bill and Morley, and now her aunt Ardith.  It sucks, big time!

At least she still has me, lucky girl! This my 2nd chance so I can right my wrongs from pre-cancer by asking for forgiveness for everything.  I can’t physically go back in time to make things right, but I can ask for forgiveness as much as I hate apologizing.  No I haven’t ticked anyone off since that phone call way back when.  “I feel bad about the bad things and good about the good things”-Dave Grohl

OK if you’re old enough to see an R rated movie watch “Ted” for sure vulgar, full of bad language but hilarious.  Watch this link with NO kids in the room!

If you like any rock music, like Rick Springfield, Tom Petty, Nirvana, sir Paul McCartney, etc.  Check out the film “Sound City” directed by Dave Grohl all about the Sound City recording studio. Here’s a short video interview and article with Dave Grohl about the movie.  Appropriate for kids, no bad language in this.
